I've hired him for a number of projects now (fixing dry rot, sky light installation, window trim, and exterior house paint) and trust his work and his ethics. I have family and friends in the industry and know how hard it can be to find a good contractor. The best part is the day he and his crew went the extra mile for me. I, in an effort to save money on a repairman, chose to replace the belt on my drier myself. All went well until I figured out that I didn't have the strength to stretch it over a certain spot. They saw me under the drier, on the floor of my garage, with parts scattered from one end to the other and, without asking, jumped right in. My experience in two stores were five star-plus. Waldport store has PRO sales people and lots of good selection, reasonable prices. I buy many things there to furnish home(s) and stage it for Real Estate sale. My own 5,000 Sf Ft home is furnished with their products. May not be top of the line but reasonably priced and good quality. Their 8X10 rugs are one of the best buy. Well made, stylish and many design available. Last time I bought three of these to partially cover a large wood flooring and give it a nice look. Sometime the best time to buy is Sunday, when not many people in the store and I can make a 'deal' if I buy more than two rugs the same time. Be friendly and the staff will work with you on pricing. The only issue I have with the stores, they can not get more of the same design in the rugs. They are shipped random numbers and styles. So, go and visit the Newport or Waldport stores. I have not been in the Lincoln City stores yet and have no opinion. Maybe a few weeks later I'll check it out.

Told her the story, she said wow guess the paperwork got lost how can we help you? We ended up setting an appointment for them to come modify my counter and I was told to have the new stove on hand to make sure it fits, I took the day off, and they didn't show. Called them and found out I wasn't on the schedule and there was nothing they could do except schedule a new appt sometime in the future. So now here I am with a new stove in my kitchen that won't fit and nobody to do the work. Do not trust these people. They are too disorganized to run a business. Just my experience...

We had a great floor buying experience with Fjelland floors. We contacted Ryan at Fjelland about…read moreour ridiculously squeaky floors. He came out, assessed the situation, provided good advice and options on how to proceed. His assessment was that prior moisture issues in our crawlspace had lead to a very squeaky sub-floor which required removal of the existing laminate flooring and re-securing the sub-floor with screws. We discussed the pluses and minus of new flooring options and decided to go with a solid hardwood hickory floor. We chose to remove all the baseboards and existing flooring ourselves which saved some money. The installation crew (Frank, Frank Jr., and Martin) spent a week re-securing the subfloor, and installing the new hardwood floor and reinstalling the baseboards. From end to end the whole process was very professionally handled. Communication with Ryan and the office staff was clear, helpful, and informative, and I can't say enough about the install crew. They were there early every day until the job was done and they were meticulous in their craftsmanship. All-in-all a job very well done. We're very happy with the result and NO MORE SQUEAKING FLOORS!

We wish we had -- before we moved in -- because it really needed replacement. There were areas of heavy wear, stains of unknown origin left by the previous owners, and it was really in pretty sorry shape. Finally acknowledging that we really DID need to get new carpet, we started shopping around. We checked out the big box stores. We checked out the other local outlets. And after getting some quotes, we decided on Fjelland Floors. Turns out we did it right. The first thing you notice when you walk into their showroom (if you're lucky) is Walter. He's the Official Shop Dog. He's sweet and well, professional. As in a Professional Shop Dog. He's really sweet! And then we met the humans who run Fjelland Floors. Burke and Ryan were professional and very knowledgeable, making our carpet selection an easy process. We knew when the materials would arrive, when the installation would take place, and communication throughout was good. And I want to add a big 10-Star review for the gentlemen who installed our new carpet. Rich and Richard were on time. They were professional and attentive to all those pesky details. They were clean in their habits, easy to communicate with and a pleasure to have doing the work. They not only installed our new carpet BEAUTIFULLY, they made sure to clean up after themselves.
