I purchased my pool from Tucci Brothers close to 15 years ago. The purchase and installation was seamless. I had a very positive experience. I would continue to drop in regularly to pick up parts, chemicals and accessories. Fast forward to last year. A tree fell on my pool and wiped it out. I filed a claim with insurance but I no longer had the receipt. The adjuster said he would call Tucci Brothers to get an idea for the depreciated value. Which probably wouldn't have been much. However, when he called they said that they had no record of me being a customer. I thought that was strange given every time I made a purchase over the years they would bring my account up on the computer. So I took a drive down to the shop and spoke to the manager. He looked in the system and said "you're not in here". I asked if there was a possibility I was accidentally deleted. He abruptly said "nope". "If you bought your pool from us you would be in the system". Then he asked "are you sure you bought it here". I said absolutely. He then dismissively said "I don't think so" while looking me straight in the eye. I no longer will recommend Tucci Brothers even though I have done so several times before resulting in at least 2 pool sales. read more

Good honest people here!!!! Shop around and buy here with confidence. These folks did right by me and my family and they deserve the accolades they're getting with this review. I spent thousands of dollars here and I had a product issue. NOT a store nor staff issue. They stood up for me and they stand behind their word and the products they sell. They are knowledgeable and fair. They recommended a good installer and service technician (Franco) which I am 100% satisfied as well. When I told the serviceman that he was recommended by Tucci Pools, I got service that same day at my home. The store and the technician they recommended, both, returned all calls promptly and courteously. You really can't ask for more than that. I trust them and I recommend them to you with 100% confidence. Their prices are very competitive and they are loyal "Paisans". If this wasn't true, I wouldn't post it . It's the only game in town. They don't (didn't) service didn't tell you they don't service & had no recommendations for service. Price was fair enough, I guess but I'd shop around. We got a spa. I don't care for the owners, so I go elsewhere for my chemicals. Everyone I went in there, they were always eating. read more

I had a great experience with the actual pool store but the mistake they made was recommending a pool installer. installer Mike Sledgeianowski pretty much ruined my whole experience with the store. the front of my house was left in shambles and now my electric to my pool does not work when he had to dig around it and left the electric wire exposed. pictures are attached . he charged me 1,850 for the install and take down of previous pool . and charged me 350.00 for additional sand. $2,200 and now I have to get an electrician to fix this nightmare. I spent the night cleaning up the front of my house. store is not responsible since the installer is an independent contractor but hopefully they will bar him from other installs . How the store recommended this installer I'll never understand . Should have never been paid read more

Never turn down an opportunity to a sell!!! Drove 45 minutes to get to the showroom and doors were locked 2 hours after business was opened. Walked around and saw 2 gentlemen dismounting some boxes from a truck so i asked them if anyone else could assist me and the older guy said " Yeah come back like 30 minutes because i'm doing something". Can't really beg anyone to give them business so i just drove down to a very great pool store in Staten island (not that far) and purchased a $5000 pool package from them instead. read more

After visiting their showroom and emailing them over a dozen of times to find out more information and price about their products. I ended up giving up. I don't understand how they expect from someone to buy a $7,000 item without providing decent customer service I this economy where Customer Service is the ONLY value added and differential. I'm surprise this people are still in business. If they provide basic follow up before me paying $7,000.00...I doubt they will return my call after they get my money I guess I will look for a more responsive dealer. read more

Bought an above ground pool five yrs ago. I've been coming here ever since. From purchase to installation, this family owned business is the best. Extremely knowledgable and so friendly. They are stocked with supplies at all times. I've gone to other places because it was closer, but I never get the service and advise I get here. In the off season it's a beautiful Christmas shop. Same service and knowledge. It's a win win here. read more

My husband and I went to this place in April to shop for a pool despite the negative reviews. They rushed us through our questions and we felt like they were pushing us out the door because they were nearing closing time. You would think they would not treat customers this way; especially customers looking to spend $5k-$8k on an above ground pool. We ended up purchasing our pool from State Fair in Belleville and they were excellent and willing to go the extra mile for us. I just went back in there to purchase bromine for my spa and was treated like a complete a-hole. When I asked where I could find the bromine looked at me like I was a moron and asked me if I looked around the store for it. I replied yes, but that I did not find it. He went in the back and got me a tub. Then I asked him about shock products for the spa and he pointed to the back of the store. I told him I'm not sure what I'm looking for can you help me and he replied that he had a call waiting for him and said "it says shock on the packaging" like I was some kind of moron. I walked back there and didn't see any products that said shock, so I walked up to the front (BTW as I walked back I heard him tell the owner his wife was on the phone - which was obviously more important than my inquiry) and said "I'll just take the bromine. I told you I didn't know what I was looking for and I didn't see anything that said shock." And he replied "would you like me to go and get you the bottle that says shock?" And I said no just the bromine. I was so angry when I left the store and when I came home and told my husband what happened he immediately left and said he would be returning the bromine. We will never step foot in there again and will go to State Fair or drive 20 minutes to another spa/pool store. I don't know how they expect to get repeat customers with such a horrible level of customer service. read more

I purchased a permanent above ground pool from Tucci brothers some years back, and have been a customer ever since. They always have what I need, the staff are courteous and really take care of me every time I'm there. The prices are very reasonable, and Franco (not sure whether he's still there) is the greatest. I read a few negative comments here, but all I can say is : I don't know what store they went to, but it surely isn't the same store I go to ! Nutley Pool rocks. read more

Bought a pool this summer and the liner has been leaking for approximately two months. It has been patched numerous times and they are telling me its NOT defective and won't replace it. Purchased a hot tub from Nutley Pool and Spa and it broke down right away. Called Nutley Spa 4 times to have it look at and repaired but no one wanted to help me. They keep saying "we're busy right now, call us later". After several attempts I got someone who said the person in charge about repairs is not in and will call me back later that day... NO ONE DID. Finally after many calls and no luck, I decided to drive there myself and try to speak to someone. When I got there, I spoke to a woman and made the appointment. It was a two week wait but I said okay. On the day of the repair I called to confirm the time. Again no one knows anything. When the repair man finally arrived it was 7pm at night. He didn't have the materials to fix the hot tub and said will come back either later that night or 2 days later. So, 2 days later I called to verify when he will be coming to repair my hot tub but again no one knows anything. I asked if the manager or owner could please call me back. They never did. So again I called. Finally spoke to someone who knew what was going on. This is what he said "the part that was needed was ordered. I'm surprised no one ever told you. Actually you're lucky. We are very busy and it usually takes longer to get an appointment with us. okay". WOW! The tone on his voice was the tone of contempt. I didn't expect such poor and rude customer service. I guess just because its a large purchase, it doesn't necessarily mean you would get good customer service. If I only knew that this is how I would be treated, I would have taken my business elsewhere. read more
