    Fried Artichoke

Loved our 2 dine in meals here. Prices were high because of location and demand (tourist area) but all the meals we enjoyed on 2 different days were excellent. Ordering drinks will up your final bill so we stuck to bottled sparkling water. I could not condone €6 for a soda. So we focused on the food. Had fried artichokes, Roman style artichokes, zucchini flowers, suppli, carbonara, pasta Pomodoro, Cannelloni and tiramisu. All yummy.

Please read this review before visiting tuccis... 1. Located on piazza navona in front of the most spectacular fountain (God's of the 3 rivers) in front of a beautiful Roman church 2. Food is 10/10 excellent . Cacio e pepe delicious made with real pork jowl . There tomato sauce was the best I've ever had . And there pasta is hand rolled bucatina style in the back. 3. They make a mean drink as well compari spritz + and my pregnant wife had virgin bloody Mary's spicy style. Nailed it 4. Greek salad was FRESH with delicious olives and cubes of premium feta . Excellent for vegetarians 5. They deal with tons of obnoxious tourists (it a busy part of rome, and truly aside from the colloseum , the best location in rome to dine) so be nice and you will get great service 6. Be prepared to spend a little money and order multiple dishes and enjoy one of the most beautiful places on earth with some excellent authentic Italian cuisine

    Ham and spicy salami pizza

My wife and I spent several days in Rome before our cruise and this was our most disappointing meal. The ambiance was quite nice, situated in Piazza Navona. However, you will be hassled by street sellers throughout your entire meal if you are seated outdoors. My wife really enjoyed the roasted artichoke appetizer. I enjoyed my pizza, but it was light on toppings compared to other pizzas I enjoyed this week. The linguine (the pasta) was extremely mediocre. It tasted more like egg noodles I could eat back in the United States. It tasted nothing like the amazing homemade pasta I had enjoyed all week. Thankfully, the seafood was fresh and delicious! The biggest disappointment was we paid close to double what we paid for very similar meals just 1 or 2 blocks of the Piazza Navona. Our check was 123 Euros for 2 people. The other restaurants were between 60-70 for every meal. I would highly suggest walking a block or two behind the Piazza for a better meal at half the price.

Had a lovely morning breakfast with a very friendly staff. Wonderful view of the Borromini church and the center fountain.

This is where we started our food tour - with coffee of course. This place has plenty of outside seating. Even though it was chilly - the sun made it pleasant to be outside plus you could see other tourists going about their day. The coffee here was just okay - we had better coffee at other places. Seating was nice and cozy. I didn't like listening to loud English music while in Roma. We didn't have food here so can't speak to that but not a place I'd seek out if I want something authentic.

Spectacular food on the Piazza. There are so many places to choose from in Roma, but I will go back here when I visit again.

Let first say, Tremendous, that's how you describe our " Pasta class" and Dining experience here while we visited Rome, the restaurant is very spacious indoor and curbside seating, it's right next to one of the most famous water fountain also. Their menu is very good and our cooking class was super and a learning opportunity on how to make fettuccine, it's a great class to take here in Rome . Also service here is prompt and courteous, staff here is so friendly, stop by while in Rome .

4 cheese gnocchi and spinach cannelloni

Perfect spot for a hungry family. We had a group of ten and they sat us immediately. The view was amazing, the drinks , and food perfecto. I had the 4 cheese gnocchi and my picky eater boys devoured it. My mom had the spinach cannelloni and that was delicious. Many pizzas were had and all wonderful. The spicy sausage on the pizza was just that, spicy!! My son had a ham and cheese calzone. It was full of cheese but the ham was a little too runny for his taste. The servers were prompt and helpful. I would definitely recommend.

Review # 1200 After…read moresome shopping on the Via cola Di Riemzo, we were ready for lunch. This spot was a Yelp find. We arrived just before they opened at 12:30. We asked for a table outside and the kind lady asked us if we had a reservation (oh oh). We didn't. No problem as we took our pick of one of the tables. Two levels inside with a small Bar in the back. Before we knew it, outside seating was full and inside also filled up-a good sign. We ordered a liter (ended up being too much but when in Rome...) of their house Red and enjoyed it. For starters, we ordered the Fried Artichokes (thick breading and will order the Roman style with garlic/vinegar next time), fried Zucchini and Suppli-Cacio Pepe. The Suppli was delicious and was enjoyed the most. For main, it was Pasta Carbonara (Guanciale )-Proper carbonara and the streak of not having a bad version of this dish in Rome continues. The sliced Beef with mushrooms was also delicious -super tender and thin pieces of beef (medium rare as requested). We asked if the Tiramisu was house-made. Our server answered, "yes, and I am the one who makes it." How could we not order after that?! One of the best Tiramisus we've had. Perfect balance of coffee dipped lady fingers with cream-delicious! Our Server was kind, attentive and full of hustle -she was covering a lot of ground. Don't miss this Gem if you are in the Prati district.

Would definitely return.

This shop is more of a countertop order from their limited menu but the menu is executed so well you'll be tempted to order multiple bowls. There are a few stools and table out front to enjoy your food hot. Both times I've been on separate visits within two years, has only shown me how consistent their food and quality is. You can pair your dishes with an aperol spritz or mini bottle of wine for less than five euros. The pasta was about nine to eleven euros and the portions were more than plenty. The chef and owner are super nice and very informative about their dishes. If you are a fan of spice you have to try their chef-recommended dish. They had one dish topped with pancetta and I just about wanted to lick my bowl clean. Everyone in the group was raving how delicious it was. Egg will forever be on my must-have when visiting Rome.
