This car wash isn't fancy. It's in the parking lot of an Exxon-Mobil gas station. But it does a decent job, and the attendant was super helpful and nice. He hosed off the dirtiest parts of my car with a high pressure hose, and I'm sure that helped a lot! I chose their highest level wash, the ultimate wash, which was just under 20 bucks. Not a bad value, honestly, because my jeep was filthy from the snow and salt. Not a bad combo: fill up on gas and get a car wash, with nice folk working the site. read more

We call this car wash the disco car wash because, as you go through it, there are flashing lights and psychedelic washing brushes! Look at my uploaded video; you will see what I'm talking about. Other standouts include: great customer service and a variety of car wash options based on your budget. The most expensive wash even applies Rainex to the windshield at the end of the wash! First of this place is fully automatic & only external pressure washing & machine washing . Nothing will be done to your internal part of the car . I left $5 in tip & I barely got a mumbling thank you . So, if you tip , you don't get anything extra. Personally I will not again . I got charged $21.50 for the Ultimate whatever that was but what I understood was additional chemicals were being thrown at my car . No way that I could tell the difference or someone could have shown me the difference besides a written table at the entrance . They could charge for Gold flakes & still I can't prove that . All I saw was foam . Short version , you don't have to pay for the most expensive option to get your car clean . This place is not worth it. Seventeen dollars for an exterior wash only??? My car wasn't dried and there ended up being water spots everywhere, and I paid extra for ArmorAll on my tires which was applied unevenly. My car was damaged As my car went through, I heard a crunch and a loud scratching sound coming from the passenger side wheel area. When I got through the car wash I inspected the wheels to find that both hub caps on the passenger side were severely scratched and broken. Some piece of their machine must not be adjusted correctly. When I showed the manager he argued with me and refused to accept responsibility, didn't even offer my money back. Now I have to replace my hub caps an expense I wouldn't have if not for the damage from the car wash. I normally don't write reviews, but felt compelled to warn others. Avoid this place. read more

Great deals and quick service. The gas is especially well-priced as well. Talk about one-stop shopping. The staff is incredibly efficient and attentive--was pumping gas the other day and some joker tried to cut in front of someone else waiting for the car wash. First, no do NOT get a car wash here. There are 3 tiers of washing and it's all non sense like bubbles/soap used. The ultimate wash is highest price 19.95 with tax 21.00 and it's all automated no hand drying afterwards. The worse is no interior cleaning at any tier and for the price you would think it would be included. Skip and find a better place. I went learned my lesson will never return! read more

Terrible business - do not go here. We used the car wash because it had a good Yelp review but that proved inaccurate. In addition to giving the car an overpriced, terrible wash (exterior only for $19) the car wash machine damaged our car and ripped a piece off of it. The manager retrieved the piece from inside the machine and told my husband he would pay for the replacement part if he brought back the receipt for it - and asked my husband not to file a police report because he would pay for it. My husband got the replacement piece and put it back on himself to save the cost of labor, then brought back the receipt to the same manager, who did not dispute that the piece broke off in the car wash machine but refused to pay for the cost of the part, as he had agreed. My husband had to file a police report and threaten to take the business to small claims court. The manager not only lied about what they had agreed on in terms of restitution but yelled at and insulted my husband, telling him never to come back. That will not be a problem as there is no chance anyone in our family would ever come here again after this experience. As of this post, we have not received any compensation for the damage to our car. Central Park Car Wash in Yonkers is much better and cleans the interior of your car for the same price. Go there instead and save yourself from having to deal with the staff at Tuckahoe Car Wash. read more

Was doing in errand in this town, wanted to kill 20 minutes getting a car wash. It was quick, seemed to clean the car OK but the car was not nearly dry afterwards and i had to hand towel in order to avoid the water spots since there are no attendants. Also, $16 is expensive for the base wash. read more

I definitely do not recommend this place. I have two main complaints about the car wash: 1- my car was far from dry afterwards and had water spots all over. 2- the guy used some sort of broom/brush to get bird poop off the sides and scratched (lightly, but still somewhat noticeable) my car all over. When I called to complain, he had no response nor did he apologize/offer a solution. I'm sure there are far better car washes for the price. read more

I thought I'd try this place out because it's pretty close to where I live, but I won't be going back. For starters, it's pretty expensive for the options they offer. More importantly, the car didn't get clean. The staff is relatively friendly, but all they do is hose down the car in the beginning. There was nobody hand drying the car at the end, so I had to rush home and dry it myself to mitigate the water marks. I didn't make it, so the car still looks dirty. On top of that, there were dirt stains all over the car that did not get washed off, and the tires don't look clean at all. Overall, it could have been worse, but I suggest finding another car wash. read more
