I brought my vehicle through this car wash hoping for a basic clean. Instead, I left with a scratched hood and a disturbing interaction with the manager, Jesus. There was some stubborn bird poop on the hood when I arrived, but instead of safely power washing it as they claim to do, it's clear a scraper or abrasive tool was used--leaving visible scratches that cut through the paint. This damage happened during the wash itself--not before. To make matters worse, other spots of bird droppings weren't even cleaned, so the job wasn't even done properly. When I brought this to Jesus' attention, I was met not with concern or professionalism, but hostility and aggression. I calmly asked him not to put his hands in my face, yet he continued to do so and even swiped at me as I was getting back into my car. His response to the scratches? Repeatedly offering to "buff it out," which is not a solution when the paint is physically damaged. No apology. No explanation. No refund. Just defensiveness and an aggressive attitude. The experience was unacceptable from both a customer service and vehicle care standpoint. This place is already overpriced for what you get--but worse, you may leave with more damage than you arrived with. I will never return and strongly recommend against this car wash to anyone in the Lower West Chester area. They do such a good work. Very thorough and helpful. I have been using a car wash for 15 years in Manhattan where I live but it is no comparison with the work here. The car looks shiny and clean thoroughly after they give you your car back. They vacuum pretty well and clean inside pretty well. My car looks different, so I know what I am talking about. Also the price is much much much more reasonable than other places. I prefer $17 silver package wash which gives you the weather ticket that you can go back if rained in a couple days. The silver package is the lowest package starting to give you this privilege. When a typhoon destroyed this area by flooded and buried this area in Sep 2021, this car wash and gas station at the front of the car wash were forced to close for a long time. We had been waiting for their coming back. So happy their business is back. I have to mentiond that their staff is very honest. Once - in spring 2021, they put my missing Tiffany 18K gold + diamond bracelet in the coffee holder when I got back in the seat. I asked "where was this?" They said "oh it was on the car floor". Let me start off by saying I have lived in this community for 40 years. This is the ONLY car wash I go to ... bc they actually care. The manager of this car wash has dedicated himself to this car wash for years of his life. He doesn't own it but he cares greatly about the customers that come here and the experience they take away from something as simple as a car wash. I cannot even believe the attack made on the manager and business bc of a mask. 1. It/he is outside when you pull up. 2. He stays far from you. 3. They use a credit card swipe to try to limit contact. 4. If someone takes their mask off (esp outside) perhaps they need a minute to breath (heaven forbid apparently). 5. At no time during the exchange of the car or credit card do they get too close to you. If someone is that upset about being outside and far from someone without a mask - perhaps they should wash their car at home. This establishment does an EXCELLENT job and I urge people to go and NOT listen to those reporting false and inaccurate information about the business. This car wash has been in this location since I was a kid. There is a reason they have been so successful in operating. They do not have additional services like the other car wash up the street (which I dont think does as good of a job) yet there is almost always a line for this car wash. Why? Because it is a great car wash for the price and they care about their customers! If there is something you feel was missed or overlooked the manager is VERY approachable and accommodating. This "manager" is either a friend to the owner, since he CLEARLY doesn't understand customer service, or is having a bad day---but that isn't excuse to treat a customer poorly. 3. The clean-up crew said I didn't have any mats. I showed them the receipt CLEARLY SHOWING them I had four mats and somehow in the span of less than 50 feet there was a misunderstanding. 4. There was no apology from this manager at the end even as I saw him again. I am WORLD of competing businesses they have lost all of my future business now. It was a waste of $30. The inside wasn't touched. They did wash the mats but I paid extra for that. Nothing was wiped down. The inside of the windshield wasn't wiped down. I have left over residue from a sticker on my driver side window...still there. The car is still dirty. I came on my lunch break and didn't bother looking over their work because I was in a rush. After the car wash, there were some marks on the side of the car that I wanted to get taken care of, so one of the guys worked on it with some polish and elbow grease until it came off. Fast? Check. Efficient? Absolutely! Scratches and removed paint? You better believe it, and I sure didn't ask for those! If you care even remotely about your car's exterior or good customer service, keep looking because this is not the car wash you are looking for. I found several scratches on one side and the rear bumper had a patch of paint completely exposed. None of the offensive marks were present before the wash. When I showed the manager, he completely blew me off and told me that because the cleaning area is visible through transparent glass, there is no car damage that occurs in his car wash. Right, sure! As if an eagle-eyed viewer will be able to pick out the exact moment that their car is being damaged! My only regret is that I didn't take pictures just before the wash, but live and learn. I paid for the "platinum" wash and the inside was still full of dog hair and dirt in the middle console. The guys at the end spent no more than 2 minutes doing the tires and the inside of the car. Considering I bought the second highest possible wash I was very disappointed. I went to this car wash and got a Platinum Wash a year or so ago and had a wonderful experience. The inside of my car was all wiped down and smelled like armour all, mats were cleaned and dried. The outside was shiny and clean. This morning I went there and got my usual Platinum package wash. I was asked if I wanted to pay $20 more to have my seats and mats washed (I declined... they used to do my mats without additional cost in the past). When my car was done, it was in total disarray. Everything that was under my stored seats were thrown around in the back. The interior of my car was not wiped down and what was wiped down was left dirtier than it was when I brought it. Outside it was still very dirty and streaked. My windshield had been wiped with a dirty, wet rag and when the sun shined on it, I could not see. I went to get a car wash, just a standard exterior wash. The price said $11 dollars. I have been going to Dip In Car wash my whole life and have always enjoyed my experience. Three things that matter; the service, the price and the people. The folks who work and run Dip in are great people who care about the customer and the service they provide. They get to know your name, they ask you how the service was and are happy to address anything you bring to their attention. Unlike other car washes who couldn't get you out of there fast enough. Personally, i love the service. Start to finished their attention to detail is top-notch. They are efficient and make sure the job is done well. I saw a post saying they found several scratches after going to dip in. In my 10 year experience going to this car wash that has never been the case and I find it hard to believe. I've brought nice BMWs to trucks to the wash and none have been returned with a scratch. Lastly, the price.
