I contacted Service Care about a Viking vent hood that was not working and they were out the next…read moreday. Their communication prior to the visit was exceptional. The young man who came to the house was punctual, polite and professional. Unfortunately that's where the good things stop. Our vent hood blower is on the roof and despite claiming to have checked the motor, he never went to the roof. I suggested that the problem could be the startup capacitor on the blower and he didn't check it. Instead, after knocking around in our kitchen for the better part of an hour, he tells me that the problem can't be fixed and that the parts for our 17 yr old vent hood aren't available. He searched online, talked to Viking and there was no way to fix it and there was nothing he could do. He said even if he could fix it, it would be around $900. He collected $115 and left. That just didn't make any sense to me. I'm reasonably handy and I went on the roof and quickly found the problem. Sure enough, the startup capacitor was bad and despite Service Care's claim that parts weren't available and my unit was beyond repair, Amazon delivered the $10 part the next day and I installed it in about 5 minutes. $10. Based on this interaction, I can't recommend this company.

The lady on the phone said yes, that used and new ones! So I got into my car and drove across town and behold! They had moved a few blocks away to a HUGE building that looked to be about 10 X larger than the other! I went in and a very polite young man named TJ greeted me. I told him what I needed. There's a reason they were taken away from a previous owner... because the appliances needed to be replaced, they are not good anymore. We bought a used washer and dryer. The washer did not work on the FIRST wash. Can't get your money back. Have to buy something else from them or you're out what you originally spent. Ended up buying a washer that I could have gotten at Home Depot for $250 less. And the dryer? Same thing. Tried it out on delivery day and guess what? Did not work, had to have the repair man come out immediately and fix that too. He replaced some fuses and got it to "work". Total piece of crap. I have to dry small loads 2-3x to get them dry. I'm buying a new dryer somewhere else. Their used items are complete junk. Their "new" items cost more than you could get them anywhere else. Save yourself time and money and go anywhere else. The WORST experience ever.

The living room furniture I saw already had SOLD tags on them. The rest were some mattresses in the back I believe. So I didn't have too many options. The man who worked there was very friendly and told me that I could go on their website and choose whatever I wanted (minus exclusive Ashley Homestore collection items) He is contracted to where he can get the items for you that regular people like me and you might not be able to. I've seen this concept before, and I'm actually a firm believer in trying before you buy especially when it comes to a big purchase like furniture. I've been in enough furniture stores to know when something looks nice...half the time it ends up being uncomfortable when I sit down to try it! So if you're like me and want to try things out, you may not be likely to buy something here. If you're someone who buys stuff online all the time anyways, have at it! The worker here seemed to be really nice and would probably be willing to assist and answer any questions you had!

Our kitchen freezer stopped working and Appliance Connection came out…read more The diagnosis was done by Chris and determined to be the freezer fan, which was ordered and installed 5 days later. After install the freezer never cooled and when I called back 3 hours later asking the repair person to come back, I was told by the manager that it took 24 hours to see a difference in temp (which is a complete lie and later confirmed). Overnight the refrigerator failed (and still the freezer was at 70 degrees). Chris came back out to confirm that it was now the compressor that likely broke during the fan install process and had he been dispatched at the 3 hour time when I requested he would have been able to diagnose the additional issue and salvage the food. Not only did Appliance Connection not fix the issue and instead further broke the appliance, they are now refusing to refund the full amount of the service.
