They offer fries, curly fries or wedges. The burger is $7.49 and .50 for cheese. The best value is to get the basket with fries and a drink. Shortly after I walked in, I was approached and told I wasn't allowed to be there because I came in a semi truck. I explained that I was only going to be inside for a few minutes to buy a few items, but I was told they would not allow me to purchase anything. I was also told, "Unfortunately truckers are not welcome." Those were his exact words. That was extremely disappointing to hear. Truck drivers are a huge part of what keeps this country moving. We deliver the products businesses sell every single day, including the products sitting on Buc-ee's shelves. To be told we're not welcome and not even allowed to make a purchase is sad and frustrating. Because of this experience, I will never return to Buc-ee's again, not even in my personal vehicle. Aside from the attached Whataburger, they have their own line of hot (mainly fried) foods from potato wedges to fried chicken. "Crispidos" are their local claim to fame and basically giant fried taquitos. It's most definitely crispy and filling, and I can see why people enjoy them so much. This is also a trucker sanctuary, equipped with gas stations and parking spots for semi-trucks, as well as a lounge and shower area. The rest of the shop has all of the road trip essentials from little snacks, cold drinks, and plenty of "Texas" souvenirs. Lastly, it's a Tesla Supercharger destination.
