Today, we picked up our pups remains and just lost it. Faithful companions not only cremated our pup as we requested, they collected a paw print and a locket of her fur. Just so thoughtful. And my family, family including the furry members (Benny, Bella, Oliver). The three of them have me wrapped around their little paws. There is nothing I would not do for them. And so yes, I spoil them. The best food, treats, toys, bed, etc. They get it all. Even keep cold water in their bowl during the summer months. So when it comes to a place to shop I can't just hope for the best. And the team, they have to love my furry ones almost as much as I do. I don't care if you ignore me or never ask my name. But you best be getting down on their level and telling them how amazing they are and asking if they want a treat (of course the answer is always yes). And here, it happens every time. It doesn't matter if it's a slow day and I'm the only customer or there's an adoption event and the place is packed; my crew gets acknowledged. Over the years I have come for extra stuff like ear wipes and CBD treats (side note: those things work!). Of course the wall of toys is always a stop. And if I have questions or need further explanation on something, they are there to help. Oh yeah, they also delivery! Like to your front door so you don't even have to get off the sofa delivery. I love bringing my dog here! They are so personable regardless of who is working the counter when I…read morego. They are very knowledgeable and not pushy at all. I usually buy the locally made frozen dog food. I didn't take a photo of it but you can tell through the packaging it's all natural ingredients. Just a quick heat up in the microwave, then use it as a topper. My dog loves it and it's nice to give him a variety. They have natural ice cream that has probiotics and even my cat likes it. The dog food brands they have are carefully picked out - natural and truly grain free - so may be on the pricier side but at least you know they are quality products. They gave us some samples to see if my dog will eat it (he gets very excited over this new food). They also keep up with recalls. The customer service is great and this is what you get from independent, local shops. Support local!!

A recent visit to the vet made it so that I needed to change my beloved soulmate dog's food to something else pretty particular. I went to PetSmart and was trying to figure it out on my own, but one of these two ladies spent a good hour helping me find just the right balance at a price that was reasonable. I left feeling satisfied with that visit. Then, maybe a week or so after, I went in to buy some cute little diaper covers for my dog and Kaitlyn and Karen were just wonderful. They remembered her, helped us, and even offered her a surprise balloon pup cup. My dog, who usually never accepts treats from strangers, and who has never liked pup cups, devoured all of it happily. It really made our day for days. I appreciate places like this and employees like these two women more than I can express. For this reason, I will continue to support in-person stores rather than online. It can make all the difference in our lives.

I went to the Aiken, SC Petsmart a half-hour ago to have my dog's nails trimmed. The lead at the…read moregrooming center said she can't clip my dog, Reefer's nails because her rabies vaccine expired on 8/9. I told her I thought the expiration date was 8/19. I was refused service. When I got home, I looked at her vaccination records, and her rabies shot was good through 8/19, not 8/9. I called the grooming center and spoke to the lead that refused the nail clipping. She said that an associate must have keyed in the wrong date. PetsMart should be making copies of records provided by the customer. I only got a sorry, and that's it. I am a repeat customer, and this is unacceptable to me.
