I am writing to share my experience following a tour of Adventure School on Monday, July 7, 2025. I…read morehave been actively visiting various preschools and childcare centers in search of the best environment for my two-year-old son. Throughout this process, I have encountered several programs that did not meet my standards or expectations. Adventure School, however, stood out as a refreshing and reassuring exception. Although I did not have a scheduled appointment, I was warmly welcomed by Sarah, who immediately made me feel at ease. She took the time to understand what I was looking for and kindly offered to show me the two-year-old classroom. The teacher in that room was attentively seated with a child who appeared to be waking up or had just arrived, while the other children played calmly within her line of sight. Importantly, the classroom was in ratio--something I've found to be lacking in many other centers. The environment was calm, organized, and engaging. The walls displayed children's artwork, the classroom was rich in print, and materials were thoughtfully arranged without being overwhelming. A child-sized bathroom was located within the classroom, providing convenient access for potty-trained children. Throughout the tour, I asked detailed questions about teacher-to-child ratios, daily schedules, tuition, meals, hours of operation, and more. Sarah was able to answer all my inquiries thoroughly and without hesitation. She also discussed classroom transitions and walked us through the three-year-old room. Before that, she allowed my son to explore the outdoor play area, which included developmentally appropriate toys and climbing structures. We also had a meaningful conversation about early intervention, including AzEIP and Child Find, and how the school supports children who may be experiencing developmental delays. Sarah's knowledge and genuine commitment to supporting all children were clearly evident. Sarah's demeanor was warm, professional, and consistent throughout the visit. Despite spending a significant amount of her time with us, Sarah never appeared rushed or inconvenienced. This was a stark contrast to the reception I've received at several other centers. Upon leaving, I immediately contacted a friend who is also searching for a preschool and strongly recommended she consider Adventure School, despite the distance. Had the location been closer to our home and workplace, and the cost more manageable for our budget, I would have enrolled my son on the spot. Based on my experience, I have full confidence that he would be safe, supported, and nurtured in this environment.

This day care has been the best thing for my son. He was previously in a day care where they…read morebasically baby sat all day. At Adventure they focus on learning and development and fun. He loves his teachers and his classmates. They are great at communicating when he has done something wrong and making sure that i know its normal and that they are helping. The director, Laura, holds her staff to the highest standards because she knows they are capable and exceed those expectations. Every day when i drop my son off i feel like i'm leaving him with family.

My son was enrolled here for about 2.5 weeks, he left early twice due to being sick during that…read moretime. It didn't work out for my 1 year old so I decided to have someone watch him from home. I paid for the time he was there plus also paid an additional $280 2 weeks advance, 2 weeks he did not go since I pulled him out of the school. They're refusing to give me a refund because I was to have given a 2 week withdrawal notice despite the fact my son was only enrolled there for 2.5 weeks, so that doesn't make sense. I can POSSIBLY understand a company's point of view but as a customer, why are you keeping my money you didn't earn? The facility didn't care for my son those days therefore shouldn't free pocket MY $280. There was always different teachers in his class, never knew them by name, once there were two new teachers in there together in the evening (I'd never seen them before, they were wearing matching polo yellow shirts) and one was complaining about how she is sick (it was obvious too), probably why my son got sick. So if you're testing the waters with new child care facilities keep that in mind especially if it doesn't end up working out!

Since she started in August, my daughter has made friends and is progressing each day. She loves when I ask if shes ready for "school". As a single mom, they have assisted with potty training and are very communicative. Did I mention they take DES and very inexpensive compared to other copays! They continue to provide a fun and engaging environment for our little one. The teachers and staff do a wonderful job creating memorable experiences. A special shoutout to Miss Savanah and Miss Jackie, if you ever get to meet them they are just the sweetest teachers to our little one and they really created a lasting bond. Happy Trails offers memorable experiences throughout the year with large spaces to burn off energy for outdoor play, water play with toys/water castles/slides/splash pads, and even a swimming pool option in the Summer for the older children. They occasionally have special guest appearances brought in from the Funny Foot Farm too. An added, yet amazing bonus is that they supply the snacks, and lunch. the lunches are warm and prepared by their school chef. My daughter loves the goulash and never comes home hungry. This makes the prep work for the week and mornings so easy. We are thankful for Happy Trails getting us through these young toddler years and milestones. We highly recommend it for parents looking for safe, fun, and affordable care.

I have full trust in the teachers at Happy Trails and especially the head of the program to create a safe, fun, and constructive environment for my kid. Whenever there has been a rare issue with staffing, I found that Terri, the head of the program, moves very quickly, and effectively to resolve the problem - always to the benefit of the kids. My family is not overly religious, and even though Happy Trails identifies as a Christian preschool, I've never had an issue with anything that they have taught or shared. I am going to continue to send my son to after school care at Happy Trails until he is too old to attend.

My child built a great relationship with all of them and it was clear he was learning and growing under their care. About 6 months ago they started using an app and I received regular updates and photos about how the day was going - loved this! The prior directors, Jessica and Anissa, and the current director, Misty, have all been great and have happily answered any question I had or engaged in a conversation if I had any concerns. Our childcare needs have changed now, but if we need a daycare again, OST will be at the top of our list for both care and value.

She has no concern for your child's or your concerns. I have three children that were all going there (10, 7, 2 years old). I had to move my two year old to another daycare due to him getting bitten and scratched constantly. I understand when you have a toddler things are bound to happen at daycare. My concern is when I brought this to Gianna's attention about the safety and reporting and consequences of behavior it was brushed off, like it wasn't that big of a deal. Every single week he was enrolled here he had one to three ouch reports sent home EVERY WEEK! The teacher Natasha was very nurturing and made sure to give my son tlc when this happened and was VERY transparent about all of the situations, she was able to explain what happened what she was able to do about it, but when I went to the director.... Uhg let's just say it didn't matter. I have never felt so disrespected by a care giver in my life! I had to speak with her a few times about this and every single time it wasn't as big of a deal as I was making it out to be. One time I had my 7 year old in the office with me and I was holding his hand talking to her about my concerns for my 2 year old and she literally got in my face and was extremely Rude and saying we can't do anything for your child since it's not the same child that has bit him... she then proceeded to say that if you feel your child is unsafe you should remove him from the program. Responsibility and accountability was always evaded with Gianna... instead of trying to fix the problem she would say well we can't separate the kids... well then maybe we should address biting... granted kids bite because they can't speak their frustrations... so as a director of the daycare what do we do about biting!? Her response was all we can do is separate them for that day and call the parents of the child that bit... okay... well on one side that makes sense but for my child to be bitten pretty much 5 weeks or so in a row by "different" kids hm... something needs to be addressed obviously! I got to a point where I didn't even feel comfortable talking to the director anymore. She seriously does not care about anything... the way that she speaks to children is absolutely ludicrous saying "get out of my face, you are a child you don't get to ask questions" talk about emotional abuse! I have so much going on in my life that I don't need a daycare that has a five star rating, I'm supposed to trust, to have no care in the world! Honestly, I just don't get it! Thankfully the regional director got involved and it will be handled accordingly. I still don't feel comfortable having conversations with the director though! I will go to the co director or the teachers before I talk to Gianna.. this was my first time putting my children in daycare because I've been a stay at home mom for ten years. This is why I would rather stay at home with my children because of stuff like this. I just want to let everyone know my situation because I don't want you to go in there blindly. If they got rid of Gianna I would probably put my 2 year old back into the school but knowing Gianna doesn't care much about children and the concerns for occurrences like this, I can't. Also, the bulling of her own staff is sad. The way that she tries to scare the people that work for her because SHE got in trouble is beyond me. In my opinion Gianna needs to go this is no way upper management should ever act! I am completely baffled!

I took my studies very seriously and spent the entirety…read moreof my enrollment on the Deans List, however the challenges of dealing with grown adults, both students and staff, exhibiting the most severe unprofessionalism I have ever encountered, definitely put a damper on the experience of Carrington college. I endured this, however. I completed my studies at Carrington and went on to deal with a very difficult externship. I was so excited to graduate and walk across the stage. When that day came, I found myself in the hospital after a horrible accident. I reached out to the staff at Carrington and asked them if I could please be given the opportunity to participate in a later graduation ceremony, so I could still walk across the stage and celebrate all the hard work I had put in and endured. I was told that I would hear from Kathy Bailey about participating in the next graduation ceremony. I never heard from her. It has been 10 months. Ive already accepted the fact that I will not be getting a graduation. The robes that I purchased with my own hard earned money are collecting dust and will never be worn. This is my own experience at carrington. I strongly encourage any student seeking to further their education to look elsewhere. Don't waste your time and your energy.

It hit me hard and I was all on my own for my senior year and I couldn't of done it without their support on hygiene items, clothes, shoes, food, and that check in the beginning of the month of having good grades definitely helped me and my savings !
