Terrible service. Awful customer service. Lying techs. I had a second appointment scheduled to complete replacement of a screen on my laptop. The second appointment was set while the tech was still here, sitting right at my dining room table. He gave me the part numbers to order from Amazon. He even confirmed he received notification of the appointment on 5/5 between 12 and 3. When no one had shown up by 3:30 I called their main office. The told me he had called me (nope, no missed call) but they would have them call again. The tech did call. He also told me he had called my three times (nope, great big lie). He had no idea why he was coming here (unbelievable). Then he told me he was too far away, it was too late, the repair would take too long, and he simply could not honor this appointment because he cannot drive after dark (I kid you not). I told him to just never mind, I would cancel the appointment. I am very ticked off about this. I am a small business owner and use my laptop for work. I called the main office and let them know about this nonsense. Then I realized speaking with dispatcher was not going to do it form me. As a business owner I wanted to speak with the owner. I was told that was not possible. If I have unhappy clients I deal directly with them and fix the issue. He apparently does not speak to upset clients. I do not want to do business with a business owner who takes no ownership of his failures. read more

I had a problem with my Linux operating system and Tucson Computer Repair was recommended to me by another shop that only serviced Windows OS. Micheal was as professional and upfront as a doctors office. He took a quick look, said it would take some digging and explained his fee system. He also said he would likely have it repaired by Monday. (I dropped it off on Friday.) The next day, Saturday, he calls to say it was fixed! To put it bluntly this place is fucking AMAZING! I've been in twice now, once to upgrade my son's RAM on his laptop. They were super helpful in finding compatible RAM (I was struggling while looking online)! I work until 5pm and got there 30 minutes before closing but Michael was super awesome, patient, kind and laid back! They got the RAM in that same day since they were a little slow and it would only take a couple of minutes if we were willing to wait! They even checked their stock to see if they already had compatible RAM (in the quantity we wanted) instead of having to order it. The 2nd time I went in, same son, same laptop.... kid spilled water all over his keyboard. EPIC FAIL! Anyway.... we tried to let it air out and it worked briefly, kid tried to take it into his own hands and made it worse. So I came back to Michael. HE REMEMBERED US!! Seems silly, but stuff like that totally makes an impact! Anyway, again, it was late and close to closing, but he offered to take a quick look on the spot again if we were willing to wait! We got the answer we were looking for, and even though it wasn't what we wanted to hear, he helped us to potentially save money by salvaging the SSD and RAM I had previously purchased. He didn't charge a single penny! I even tried to pay him personally and he would not accept it! THIS IS CUSTOMER SERVICE LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!! I am honestly BAFFLED by the bad reviews!! I'm wondering if there was different staff back in 2020 or something?! One thing I will say after reading some of the bad reviews, ANSWER THE DAMN PHONE. More than one person complained about not getting their calls returned. We live in the day and age where spam callers and calls about "expiring car warranties" are a thing leading to some of us not answering calls from numbers we don't recognize. Which brings me to my other point, CLEAR OUT YOUR VOICEMAIL!!!!!!!!!! I have NEVER had any issues contacting this company or them contacting me. Again, legit baffled at the bad reviews! I have been to this store twice. First time to fix a broken fan in laptop and change battery. The staffs are very professional, inform me the diagnosis fee on the phone. Explain clearly what's wrong after diagnosis and have it ready by the time they promised. Maybe even sooner than I expected. Chris is amazing. This is the second time I've had a software related problem with my computer. Chris got me in and the repairs done within 48hrs. I don't need a repair person often (thank goodness) but am incredibly thankful for how easy he makes it when I do. When I dropped off my computer, said it would take a couple days. Over the course of two weeks, never called me once to give me an update or check in. Never did a work order. Never gave me a receipt. I called once and left a message. Never received a return call. Called again and when I asked about my computer - pause then stated "Oh, my gosh. I totally forgot." All I needed was a replaced tablet screen. When the work was finally finished, he did a poor job, adhesive coming out from bottom of screen, top loose. Then I return home to discover my touch screen working improperly. I refuse to go back to him for fear it'll never be done and if by a miracle it is, it will be done improperly. Computer problems can be very difficult and serious. I can't guarantee the Chris will make your hardware and software life perfect. However, he will see your issue through to the end. What I mean is that he takes interest to see that your problem is actually solved and you are able to get back to work. He also tries to help be proactive to keep the problems from repeating. Seems to be a one man shop and he is constantly dual tasking. It may take some time, patience, and cooperation. Not cheap but was a very good value for me. I yelped this company, called, he said he had one in stock, told me the price (which sounded reasonable) and said if he wasn't too busy, then he could repair while we waited. 20 mins and it was done. I had also called another company who told me that I needed to come down, gave me the runaround that he had to "see" the computer. Quoted a lower but similar price. But didn't have it in stock. If that company did have it In stock, and was slightly less i would still have went with this company. Just bc i didnt get the run around.
