There are several groups divided by age and ability level, but the main focus is music education. Additionally, the groups missions is to empower young women. I am a music teacher in tucson and have had several students over the years participate in Tucson Girls Chorus. I am always impressed and appreciative of the way those students perform. Emotion should never be used when writing a review like Gergine, Mark and so many others below…read more it is not only insulting to those who actually perform conservation, but also undermines protection efforts and help for those animals they claim to care for. The 1800's and early 1900's were the times that we lost some species to extinction, with others becoming too close for comfort. This was not just due to the unregulated hunting, but also ignorance. This ignorance is both an irrational fear for animals like wolves and the grizzly, but also a lack of understanding just how to manage them. Keep in mind this was not just unregulated hunting, but also expansion of our cities that devastated habitat and other resources these animals require. These miscalculations force a scientific approach rather than an emotional one. In the early 1900's we started establishing conservation efforts that set aside critical wild areas that as I said we just tended to bulldoze knowingly and unknowingly. Protections also were put in place for most species. Many studies occurred, and conservation was born to include hunting as well. Since these were put into place ALL species benefited in terms of populations, health, etc. Safari Club has been helping conservation since its inception. While the USA is well ahead in the worlds conservation efforts, we really have no legal authority to force other countries to do the same. Many countries in Europe for example that were responsible for many extinctions we speak of. Enter Safari Club that presses conservation across lines we have no authority. They are a non profit, and funding received goes to the conservation efforts of animals across the world. While people are justified in attacking others who are irresponsible and kill with malicious intent such as poachers, what they fail to understand is that Safari Club goes after these people as well. Their approach to conservation is science and has been proven effective. Part of this fight even is against those like Mark who while seemingly caring for the well being of animals, tend to actually harm them because they fail to understand the science. So, rather than fight with emotion, I recommend people actually do some research for themselves. Stay away from the sites with a narrative or idealistic views, but instead look up the facts. The facts of populations through the centuries, cause for extinctions, and the programs in place that have actually helped every species on the planet. I think you will be surprised to learn some new things as well. I think most people care for animals, but caring is not enough. Like the tourists who picked up and placed that "freezing bison calf" in the back of their SUV in Yellowstone, then brought it to the Park Service. You can have a good heart and try to help, but fail to understand your action, and you kill the animal just like they did with this poor bison calf... It takes more than a heart. Don't be irresponsible by attacking the actual groups of people proven to help. Educate yourself and fight the right people.

The classroom size is small so each child gets all the attention they need. The play yard is magical and absolutely ideal. Large old trees to climb, a rope swing, a veggie garden, with butterflies all around. Every day my daughter comes home singing a new song, about a butterfly, caterpillar or the sun and moon and nature. She's so excited to go to school every day. We are so thankful
