But..a few things have made me take my business elsewhere Recently, I needed to have two long special occasion dresses cleaned. The girl at the counter told me that the rhinestone straps on one of the dresses could be damaged or lost. Anyway, I decided to quickly remove the rhinestone straps thinking I would sew them back on when I got the dress back. That same dress had rips on the bottom hem. When my husband picked up the two dresses it was over $80. Now I am okay with paying for a premium service if premium service is provided but for $40 to dry clean a long dress, DO NOT have me remove the straps so they won't get damaged. Also, they sent my husband a text that they could repair the bottom hem of the dress after he picked up my order. That service wasn't offered to me when I was dropping off the dress. My second experience was with a yellow dress and two small light marks (photo) - The manager told me that they might not be able to get the marks off the dress. Really? That disclaimer has happened almost every time I have dropped off any clothing item that has a mark or spot to this dry cleaner. These were not heavily soiled or stained garments - just light marks from general wear. What's the purpose of dry cleaning if not to get the clothes clean? If they are going to tell me every time that I drop off clothing that my items may be damaged or they might not be able to clean it completely, I'll find a place more confident in their abilities to provide the service they are charging me for.

I figured I would also pick up a helmet and shorts while there, but ended up getting so much more thanks to Steven, who went above and beyond! He took the time to properly fit me for my very first bike and walked me through everything I needed to know -- from how to ride more efficiently, to ways to practice, how the gears and tires worked, and even how to clip in (which felt intimidating at first, but he made it approachable and easy to understand). His knowledge and patience really made me feel confident and excited to start riding! He helped me find the perfect helmet and guided me through the uncharted territory of buying cycling shorts - the shop has a great selection of both (and literally every other thing you might need to ride). They also have a nice selection of nutrition and he gave me tips on how to fuel for race day which was super appreciated. Everyone who came through the door was greeted and all seemed to know each other which was a great sign of a strong community. The prices are a bit higher than what I'd seen on Amazon, but the products were far superior in quality and so in my opinion, totally justified. We live in house with serious storage needs and required just a little help until we could build shelves and a shed. The staff was courteous, polite, professional, and helpful. They gave me thorough tour of all the available options. There were no surprises: they explained that the units were externally facing and not self-enclosed, so they advised expecting some desert dust to get in periodically. We were fine -- I covered everything with tarps, garbage bags, or just left it uncovered for things we could brush off. I've seen the other review about infestations but found no invasive desert species in my unit. My stuff was dusty but fine. I was impressed by the security as well. As we prepared to clear out our unit, I forgot to replace the lock on the door. I was called promptly after the evening security check to confirm the status. Since I had emptied the unit that day and was paid up, the agent quickly and efficiently canceled the theft report, closed up my contract, and ceased my automatic billing to avoid mischarging. Basically, it was straightforward and professional. They were straight with me about what to expect and I feel like I got my money's worth. If we're ever in a jam like that again for space, I would rent from them again.

The amount of various items about the size of a shoebox. The UPS Store had boxes, packing tape and everything one would need to ship. My friends also picked up some goodies from Trader Joe's and walked right over to the UPS store. Very convenient. The staff stated items are shipped by plane. The UPS store has boxes for shipping in one container and could package it so nothing would be damaged and gave an estimate. The price of shipping this armload of materials, and some stationary supplies from Hobby lobby was $270. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. There are other services available at the UPS Store, including mailboxes ,copy machine center, and postage purchasing. For our needs today we just were not going to use them to ship items to Alaska, as the shipping was too cost prohibiting. We ultimately went to the post office, used the boxes for flat rate shipping and mailed the items for under $50. It's likely UPS would be faster but today's errand was not time urgent.
