AWESOME: So-far-so-good, rental starts July 2026! Call me a…read moreNervous Nellie, but even though I've rented hundreds of cars, we have never rented an RV so I have visited this location (Tucson location at Prince Road & Country Club, business is called Rincon Rentals) twice already and called them a couple of times with questions. So far I'm impressed with their professionalism, willingness to help, and quality of the RVs. Our actual 3-week rental is coming up July 2026...I'll do an update after we return and hopefully my rating will remain 5-star. I have confidence it will! Honestly, I thought the Cruise America RVs would be beat up with hundreds of thousands of miles -- that could not have been further from the truth. Both times I looked (four RVs in total), they all had well under 100,000 miles. While they are not 5-star luxury equipped, they are definitely functional and of average material finishes. Since they are rentals, I never expected leather, marble, and other high end finishes. I looked online and Google AI said that most Cruise America RVs are less than 2 years old and will have less than 100,000 miles. They apparently replace their fleet quite often. I can confirm that from my visits. Everyone at Rincon Rentals was very respectful and helpful. Each time they said I could look at the RVs both in "clean/rentable" condition as well as "just returned" status. I asked if I could take photos and videos since my wife was not with me, and they said yes. All the photos are of the "clean/rentable" RV since they were doing some minor interior repairs on the "just returned" one. Just to let you know my thought process, my wife said we should rent from a private owner via those online RV rental sites. While indeed that may be for some people, I think that could be a recipe for disaster. Through private rentals, you will likely get a more well-appointed RV, completely anonymous, and definitely something besides the standard, cookie-cutter Class Cs that Cruise America offers. But what you lose is the support and professionalism of a nationwide company and a "known" product. I told my wife that if anything goes wrong with the RV rented from an individual, then vacation is over and we go home -- no options. With Cruise America, there are options to get a replacement and they have a nationwide repair network. Sure, our vacation will be disrupted but it will not be over. Anyway, Cruise America is the way we are going and they are quite affordable when compared to the EXTREMELY high prices (yikes!) for private party rentals.

Refrigerator/freezer. These automatically operate via propane when camping and battery when RV engine or generator is running.

I'm not sure if this is the 30 foot or the 25 foot.

I want to give this place five stars, but they need a few tweaks on their amenities. This might…read morehappen because there's new ownership from what the maintenance manager told me at the beginning of September 2021. However, if you're looking for a nice RV park for your friends and family that come to visit, this place is pretty large and well maintained. There is a Junior Olympic pool, a small gym in an upstairs location (that is a little rudimentary and needs some updates especially on their equipment), And to laundromat facilities that will be updated soon updated soon. The outside is gated and the inside has ample room for walking. There's even tennis courts that are used often for pickle ball or biachi ball. I especially like the office and community center area. They are quite large and according to the manager they have music events with dancing and a full-size stage performance. There's even exercise classes, crafts and a professional kitchen and more. Starting at the middle of October 2021 there should be some events scheduled so it will be interesting to see what those will be. Overall, a very friendly and easy-going environment. There are spaces for RV parking and there are park models for purchase or rent. They do fill up quickly; so if you or your family are interested give them a call and reserve.

Anyway, there are a lot of permanent homes, mobile homes and a fair number of RV's here. Most people seem to be here for long term stays, so it's pretty quiet. They have a really nice pool, hot tub (although that was indoors), and quite a few activities happening- even transport to different areas of town. The sites are well maintained, with hedges to give you privacy. They do have a palm tree on just about every site that may make backing in a bit difficult for larger rigs, but looks like most people figured it out :) Office staff were very friendly, we added an extra couple of days to our stay with no problem. Water/electric all functional. Really nice holiday decorations from the residents too. They have bocce ball and pickle ball courts too. The Mountain Views are stunning as well. There are many things to do around here too. This place is about 12 mins to the Saguaro National Park- excellent hiking and biking here- and a picnic lunch on a gorgeous December day in Arizona. The Pima flight museum is super close as well. If you get time, visit the Old Town Tucson Artisan Market (about 20 mins drive) for handmade crafts and such. They have a courtyard restaurant (with a resident turtle) that was really nice on a sunny day. Great change of scenery for us, and we will be back for a longer term stay.

NO ONE RETURNS ANY CONTACT AT ALL. How are you supposed to talk with anyone about the park? How are you supposed to apply? How are you supposed to tour the park? All attempted contact was utterly ignored, even when I made it clear I hoped to be a resident. Why the heck do they bother listing phone numbers and e-mail addresses when NO ONE WILL ANSWER OR RETURN CALLS/REPLIES? Absolutely no professionalism whatsoever, and clearly uninterested in welcoming people interested in living there. My advice to those potentially interested in Rincon East: DON'T BOTHER.
