Love Tudor's! It was always a nice treat and their biscuits are amazing! My favorite as a kid was their "Mr. T" which was shredded roast beef and melted cheese. They have not had those in such a long time now of course so I go with the sausage biscuit with melted cheese. The sausage patty is delicious. Mom always likes the fried apple biscuit. Inside it's a bit run down but clean and the staff are always super friendly. Tudor's is a must! read more

Stopped in today for a a quick biscuit with my dad on my way to the airport. Tudors is a tri-state (WV, KY, OH) fast food place but mostly WV chain that serves large biscuits and other breakfast and lunch offerings. Some of their more popular offerings are the Thundering Herd biscuit (bacon, egg, cheese, and hash brown on a biscuit) and the big tater (home fries with breakfast meat, topped with cheese or gravy). You can also get your biscuit as a meal with a hash brown and soda or coffee. My dad and I both got the Ron combo which is a sausage, egg and cheese biscuit with a hash brown side and a large cup of coffee. Biscuit was really good but coffee was watery and weak and the hash brown was really salty (personal taste thing here). The staff were friendly and courteous but it took a while to pay bc of some mishap in the drive through lane. There was plenty of seating and the tables were clean. Would recommend it for a quick meal if you are in a rush. read more

No idea why there are bad reviews. Everything we had was hot, fresh, delicious. I don't have a Tudors where I am from but I have a bojangles if that compares. These biscuits were bigger and better, Moist and fluffy. Crisp bacon, has browns were perfect texture and crisp I just like a little more seasoning, blackberry jam biscuits were amazing. Greeted at the door and yes long drive thru line but doesn't that mean they're good? Plus we went inside and waited under ten minutes for our food and given one of this restaurant buzzers to go off when it was ready. Plus we were warned they were super busy and it'll be a small wait. More than worth dropping in and waiting a few minutes for a great breakfast. Only complaint was iced coffee was a little too sweet but that's just looking for something to be nit picky about. Consistent quality food that is fast! When I go through the drive-through or eat inside, I want a nice breakfast that I can eat quick. My go to is the Biscuits and Gravy or a Sausage with Cheese Biscuit and I do not go away hungry. The only negative at this location is the rest room needs a little updating to look more presentable. Most of the time breakfast is fresh and hot. After 10:30am or so the biscuits are hard and cold. Sometimes service is really slow but they are understaffed and pretty busy most of the weekend mornings from what I've seen. Always friendly. read more

I had not eaten at Tudor's for a number of years after receiving styrofoam in my scrambled eggs. I stopped by this morning and decided to try the miner biscuit. For me I should have asked for no cheese since I found it a bit much and quite messy. The portions were generous and the biscuit was perfect. The only real problem I had was with the bacon because it was sooooo greasy, otherwise it would have been five stars. Also, the lady at the drive-up was very friendly. read more

Fantastic biscuits! Really good gravy! Scrambled eggs cooked properly. Bacon nice and crisp but not burnt. Sausage is good but has an odd sweet taste that I didn't love. The potatoes were not cooked on a grill, they were kinda boiled or something. I am a potato girl but I couldn't eat them. The side of cooked apples were nice. Overall I would go back, for sure, but I would get a sandwich style breakfast, instead of a plate. read more

Rude staff. This establishment fired several elderly ladies that had worked there for over 20 years for no particular reason. This is known throughout the area. The biscuit sandwiches are so greasy they are inedible. I ordered a bacon&cheese biscuit. There was so much grease that it ran through the entire bag&was literally dripping out of the bag. I've had other Tudor's&they have all been good. As for this particular Tudor's I will pass on by it&eat breakfast at McDonald's. read more

What a disappointment. We stopped in today since we're in town for the holidays and REALLY wanted a peppi. Not only was the staff rude and the wait LONG, we discovered when we got to the van & drove off that both the biscuit and cheese were cold. I've been a Tudor's fan for years. It was a somewhat ubiquitous breakfast experience of mine from age 4 to 16. Any and all permutations of meat, cheese and starch can be combined into one of their breakfast sandwiches, and they all have kitschy names which reflect local flavor. My personal order is the "Thundering Herd," named (of course) after Marshall University's football team: sausage, egg, cheese, hash brown and buscuit. The sandwiches are huge, the menu is extensive (French toast, anyone?), and the coffee is hot. Have I had better breakfast? Absolutely. But Tudor's is quintessential tri-state. Were I a professor teaching a class on Gastronomic Anthropology of the Tri-State, a breakfast at Tudor's would be required reading. read more

Driving through West Virginia after a long hard week of manual labor, we saw sign after sign advertising Tudor's Biscuit World. As extreme biscuit connoisseurs, we thought we would have to taste this cultural and delectable phenomenon. Waiting for a train and driving miles off of the highway through two cities, we arrived finally at our destination. The parking lot was almost full, which was quite promising, but when we entered there was no one else inside but the workers. The decor was nonexistent. The bathroom sink had scalding hot water that could not be tamed. The women working the register had just about the cheeriest attitude possible for a day's work at a fast food biscuit restaurant when a group of 15 people walks inside looking stupefied at a menu of various and unhealthy concoctions of butter, sugar, and flour. The concept of a biscuit with warm fried apple filling tantalized me, and I thought that a small sweet tea would be the perfect accompaniment. The first kiss of the biscuit creation awakened my taste buds from their morning slumber, but as I started to chew my taste buds shrank into hiding out of fear. The apples used were rotten and had an appalling mushiness unrivaled by even a Halloween pumpkin left out until Christmas. The sweet tea was average, not extremely average, just averagely average. Others in the group had buttered biscuits, egg and cheese biscuits, sausage biscuits, barbecue, French fries, and much more. With a survey of a large portion of the menu, we decided that Biscuit World does not have any extraordinary pieces of novelty, but rather several okay items. If you are looking for an excellent treat to make your day, this is not the place for you. If you're looking for a way to show the world you've given up--5 stars. read more

They are the best biscuits you will ever have. They are heaven. They will shame your grandmother's biscuits. I'm not exaggerating.
