Dining room is closed, drive thru only. Hard to understand person taking our order. The speaker could use an upgrade, but they got our order correct. For the same price as a McDonalds breakfast, you get real country ham, huge two-hand-sized biscuits, with egg, melted cheese, and a triangle of hash browns fried crunchy. Biscuits are more greasy than flaky. It should stick to our ribs until we get to Illinois. This place came highly recommended by locals. Every time I come here I ask for the same thing. Peppy extra melted cheese. They have never ever put the damn extra melted cheese but they sure will charge for it. The last time I went was New Year's Day and the bread with my BLT was literally black it was so burnt. And again, there was no extra melted cheese on my peppy this day either. If you're gonna run a food business, run it correctly. I don't even live near this location I drive further cuz the location in barboursville sucks so bad the food has a 100% success rate on being absolute garbage. Tudor's Biscuit World has many locations, and this one has the same merits and demerits that most of them do: good guilty-pleasure biscuits, though the coupons/deals aren't all that great and the hours are a little odd. To be clear, I have come here a number of times, and have had the same experience each time. The ordering (even in the drive-thru) is a bit slow, and one look at the prices of a standard biscuit will lead you to taking them up on their regular 4 for $6.95 deal. Trouble is, you only have a few biscuits to choose from for that deal, and the only decent one on the list is the pepperoni biscuit. It's for sure delicious, with amazing fresh pepperoni and an unforgettable rich cheese sauce, though I honestly wish I could get a bacon biscuit too without taking out a second mortgage to buy it from a fast food place. Service here is either robotic or apathetic, sometimes both. The interior and exterior of the store are both clean and inviting. Pulling into and out of the lot here can be a bit of a challenge depending on traffic, so I recommend just making a right out of the drive thru regardless of which direction you're traveling so that you can just turn around when it's a bit easier for you. Closing at 2pm seems a bit early, even if biscuits are primarily a breakfast food. You're already paying the lease/mortgage, why not stick it out long enough for those who want to enjoy some of your non-biscuit menu items for an early dinner? I'll probably come back here again in the future simply out of sheer adoration of their pepperoni biscuits. This place earns a conditional recommendation from me assuming you love biscuits and aren't allergic to gluten or somewhat high prices. Overall: 3.0 stars --- Pros: - Excellent pepperoni biscuits, and the other biscuits are quite good and fresh-tasting as well. - Location is convenient on Route 60, with plenty of parking. - Inside/outside of the restaurant is clean and inviting. Biscuits were crumbly as if they were frozen not made fresh. The cheese ham biscuit looked like it was melted cheese but the biscuit was mildly warm. The cheese resembled Cheez Whiz. read more

This chain is all over the place in West Virginia. We got in the 20 minute drive-through line to try it out. We had the standard biscuits with gravy and also the blackberry biscuits. Both were good though I don't see why they are so so so popular around here to justify the long waits. I'll come back if the line is short. read more

I absolutely love Tudors! We go at least every other week., especially this one since we live close. The employees are so nice and it's usually clean. However, we can no longer come to this one. Four times I have got a egg and melted cheese biscuit and have been eating it, then chomp right into many pieces of egg shell! It's awful and makes me cringe. All these times I have had to throw my biscuit away and that's all I usually get to eat to start with. I hate complaining and maybe I should have told them and showed it to them. I've been to many Tudors and this is the only one I have experienced this and it's happened way too often! I hope you all see this and can prevent it from happening again. read more

I am in LOVE with Tudor's! I had never been to one before this past weekend, and we loved it so much we went back multiple times over the weekend. My husband loves the Dottie and I love the sausage and cheese! I haven't had anything but their biscuits but next time I am in WV I will definitely try something new. read more

Tudor's has tasty food at very reasonable prices. They don't stay open for dinner which is odd for a restaurant but obviously they have a breakfast/lunch business model that works. The fried apple biscuit is especially wonderful. Staff has always been friendly to me, recommended if you're in the area. Tudor's is a local tradition. read more

First time at Tudor's, but after looking at the menu I knew I was in the wrong place! I don't eat pork, not religious, just don't eat it. So, I ask the guy who was taking my order if there was anything that didn't have pork in it. He took a moment and said "how about the pepperoni biscuit?" I guess by the expression on my face he could tell that he was wrong. So then he suggested the chicken or the steak, hash brown, egg and I think cheese. I ordered one of each, he also suggested the honey to put on the chicken biscuit. He was very helpful. The chicken biscuit was like one I could have got from some other fast food place. The steak was good, but one that I could only eat maybe on a monthly basis. read more
