This is the breakfast biscuit I was looking for! Recently picked up a biscuit at a "Biscuitville". Let's just say that by comparison, Tudor's is soooo much better. For starters, we were able to order ahead... we're traveling 700 miles today, so that little bit of time saved is important. The also gave me the correct change, and only had to try once! And, they got our order 100% correct.., also the first time. The staff wasn't just friendly.. they were downright cheerful. They do have a drive-thru... we just tend to avoid those with our Airstream in tow. We were able to park in a very roomy parking lot across the street. The order was packed and ready to go! Their biscuits are fluffy and flaky.. nice and big too. The ham is perfect... not too salty. The egg is fried, and a slice of cheese holds it all together. Their sweet tea is fresh, and just right also.

Stopped at Tudors Biscuits this morning to grab my hubby an order of Biscuits n' Gravy & opted to get myself a "Mary B". Mary B is the name of the Biscuit combination of Egg fried well done, crispy bacon and American Cheese ooey-gooey melted on a large homemade biscuit. I love their food. Great quick service and friendly staff. Highly recommend you give them a whirl!!!

The menu is quite extensive and I did have some order envy when I saw the burgers, wings, and pizzas be delivered to other tables. I was very happy with my wedge salad (hold the onions). Its presentation was wonderful. The parking lot was nearly filled when I arrived. And, those that had parked before me were poorly trained in the art of unlined gravel lots. There is space directly across from the place but one must cross the highway to the front door. It was busy during my visit- on a Friday night- and there were several people coming in on a steady stream. Recommending as a must try!

Mrs. K. went with the night's special, a piece of flounder stuffed with crab. It came with an oddly deconstructed Caesar salad and a small pot of mashed potatoes. The potatoes were meh but the flounder was excellent. Light and delicious and perfectly cooked. Cowboy burger for me was a half pound of beef cooked medium (I'd have prefered more rare) with smoked gouda and a bacon jalapeno jam. The onion rings with it were absolute perfection. Overall, a good meal. I'd return to Butcher Block. The next time, tweaking a few little things but otherwise, great. [Review 589 of 2025 - 172 in West Virginia - 24150 overall]

It is in an attractive, small storefront in the historic downtown area. Although there is no indoor seating there are chairs outside . Upon entering, you'll be greeted by the wonderful aroma of freshly baked breads and treats. Directly in front of you is a case filled with delectable goodies - assoted varieties of cannoli, tiramisu, lemon bars, New York cheesecake, strawberry cake roll, chocolate cake roll, macaroni, and more!!! My husband had the Chicken Parmesan sandwich on foccacia and I had chicken with pesto, balsamic glaze, mozarella cheese, & tomato on occasion. Both sandwiches were HUGE and one alone could have easily fed both of us! We each raved about our choice - delicious, tender foccacia, generous amounts of high-quality fillings, all with the perfect blend of seasonings. Service was friendly and efficient. If at all possible, we will definitely stop by on our way back north. 10/10 (actually more!!!). A definite must-stop!

I was a little happier with my blueberry muffin than I was my Cousin Vinny. I wanted so bad for the sandwich to taste like an amazing Muffaletta because of the ingredients, but it didn't blow my mind. Still, it was fine. It was disappointing that they were out of chicken cutlets because several of the sandwiches had that as the critical ingredient. But I would go back to explore the cutlets and their various Italian mains (lasagna, meatballs, etc) if I am ever in Nelsonville again.
