I recently started searching for a local red meat company/wholesaler in the Watertown, NY area to stock my freezers. I am a huge advocate and believer in quality red meat being some of the most superior foods man can eat, so I found Tug Hill Beef and wanted to give them a try...boy am I glad that I did!! This company is PHENOMENAL, where to begin? Firstly, I'll state that I've had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Micah, and his father to pick up my orders and explain some of the information behind their products. It is fascinating to me, and I truly enjoy learning about the process! The people behind Tug Hill Beef are incredibly thoughtful and genuine... they really care about their customers' needs and providing such delicious beef!! The meat itself is the best I've ever had, bar none. All cuts and types of steaks I've tried are extremely tender and 'melt in your mouth' soft. I really love the tenderloin and ribeye/strip steaks with some sea salt and butter...can't go wrong there. Anyway, this organization and their people deserve some recognition, as I am not one to post reviews often.
