His pre-show close up card magic was awesome as well - make sure you arrive early for that! When my boyfriend and I went, it happened to be a very intimate crowd, so everyone got to be a part of Peter's show! Such a fun, unique date night idea. We bought VIP tickets for front row seating and I highly recommend that. It was more mind-blowing to see his magic up close than to be sitting in the back and kinda being able to see some aspects of the show. Parking in downtown can be an absolute nightmare, especially if there's other events going on. If you're willing to walk ~15 minutes, there's free street parking off of Mills St NW. In my experience, parking here allowed me to largely avoid downtown traffic nightmare, as well as $$$ parking.

He did a cool card trick and got us tickets up row 2 and discount for being hotel guests. It's a small show but it made it more fun and the vibe was just off the roof. I couldn't take my eyes away from him and I'm a HUGE believer in allagic and supernatural so I was entrance by all the acts. I took a course and watched so many debunking shows about magicians and psychics but I couldn't not figure out how anything was possible. He made the effort to remember guests from last week and even remembered us the next day. Such a fun evening activity and definitely recommend going. I know for a fact when we go back to Atlanta, this is something I need to go to again.

It's free parking because it's out in Alpharetta and it's in a shopping center area so you don't have to worry about paying for parking like you would in the city . You'll come in and immediately be greeted by the bar. If you want to drink, this is your first chance to do so. The bar actually has a nice selection so you can probably find what they're looking for, so that's good ! You'll walk back and go to the showing area and there are all sorts of tables there that you sit at. The reason that there are tables there is that you can actually order food during the show as well. They have a waitstaff that will come around and take care of you. Our waitress was really good and she took care of everybody. I have no complaints about that. I tried the Caesar wrap and some French fries just because I wanted something to snack on and it was pretty good. Nothing to write home about but it was still pretty good . The show itself can vary depending on what you're doing or who you're seeing but the comedians we saw were top-tier for the most part. I had no complaints about that and they tore the house down . If you are walking into the showing area, you'll see promotions on the wall about who's going to be coming next. Depending on where you sit, you may be very close to other people, but that is pretty typical for comedy clubs. Food quality was as expected for a comedy club. Drinks were really good and strong. The waitress was nice and came to check on us often, which we appreciated. Obviously the comedy quality will vary based on the performer, but we saw Imari Martin, who was fantastic. The opening act was great well. Overall, we had a really fun time, and we will be back. It's great to have a comedy club option in the suburbs.

I mean, we planned to purchase food anyways but I have an issue with being told to purchase food after spending money on a ticket to get in, that was a real reach! I ordered lemon pepper wings that were an oily flavorless mess, they forgot the lemon and the pepper and served with questionable lukewarm fries. The service was pretty decent and I like the look of the place, but for the most part I was disappoint with the show, the food and their hustling tactics, it would be easier to have good food and good drinks and people will come and spend money..... beware of the hidden fees on the receipts, I mean what is a non-cash fee for $1.50??? We were running behind due to work schedule but got there in time for just one of the opening acts and this guy was local and FUNNNNNEEEEEEE. If anyone can give me his name in comments please do. Headliner Carl Payne did GOODT. His cadence was good, jokes well laid out, relatable and funny. We got to sit front stage with the gracious owner of the club. That was very nice! I told my granddaughter we were going to get heckled for coming in late but gratefully- a guy on the other end of the room was the target of the comediennes jokes! #whew. Happy to dodge that bullet. My granddaughter liked her food and drink. It was dimly lit so no pics of food and a flash would have DEFINITELY put a target on our heads lol. The club has a large lobby area that unfortunately we didn't get to check it out because of our tardiness. It's seemed cool. Large artwork of comedians lined the walls and a step and repeat for picture ops. Our seating was a comfortable four top. Our waitress was so very sweet in pretty challenging logistics to be a server. I was happy to have ample cash in hand to tip her generously. Even though The club was packed, The let out was easy. We had a great time and look forward to more great times at Atlanta Comedy Theater.

I really enjoyed the sing along. The dj was hype and the hosts, Carrie and Pudge kept the fun going. We saw a couple of up and coming comics and they kept us laughing. We will return!
