I am particular about yoga studios. They have to have a certain vibe for them to work for me. When you walk into this studio, it has a certain energy that reverberates through you. I already feel at peace. I like the fact that they have yoga classes that cater to the more advanced and to those who want to go for a less strenuous yoga experience. I never felt intimidated by my lack of skills but always felt encouraged by the yoga instructors and my fellow yogis. Great yoga studio located on Hwy 34. You can't see it from the hwy, but it is in the retail buildings in the back! Lots of different classes to sign up for with different instructors. I have kept to the hot/warm power flow classes, so I can't comment on the other classes (e.g. aerial yoga, barre yoga, etc). The yoga studio is very clean and everyone is very nice. In the main studio, they have yoga blocks you can borrow and yoga spray post workout to clean your mat. I recommend going online to see the whole line up of classes and signing up for a bunch! I always feel relaxed after the classes. They have a small area where you check-in where you can purchase cute yoga apparel, yoga jewelry, and crystals. read more

Great vibe and welcoming to everyone. My wife and I go 3x per week. Sometimes we take different classes. There are tons of classes throughout the day well into the evening. I got a deal through Amazon Local and decided to give Tula Yoga a try. I can offer no comparisons to other studios because this was my 1st time trying yoga. I decided to try the warm yoga class. It was at an off hour so I only had two other students in the room. That was good since I was kind of nervous. The room was 90 degrees and I found that beyond warm but you get used to it. The instructor was at the front of the room and you have to follow her words and mimic her movements. This is challenging because some of the poses require you to not be facing her. The studio was super clean and I will be trying another class this week. read more

I had joined Tula Yoga in 2015 after trying out a few other studios in the area, and they are definitely my favorite! I'm not a seasoned yogi by any means so I spent a lot of time taking different classes with different instructors to find what best fit my needs. They were warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable! Steph, Jen, and Denise are all fantastic and bring their own style of teaching that make you feel comfortable during your practice. There are a lot of different types of yoga classes available (hatha, restorative, warm/hot vinyasa flow, yoga with reiki, and aerial) as well as barre classes and meditation sessions. They also hold various other "one-time" sessions if you are looking to deepen your practice in a specific area. The studio is quite new, well kept and clean. After graduating college, I was very stressed searching for jobs. I took up Yoga to relieve that stress as well as to try something new. Jennifer was so welcoming. I started with private classes first (very reasonable) then jumped into Hatha Yoga and warm flow classes. The new space is incredible but still maintains that feel of relaxation. Super friendly and clean studio I just moved to the area and having taken classes in NYC and LosAngeles my only complaint is the yoga classes are not very challenging I barely breakout a sweat in the warm yoga classes. I am in love with this yoga studio and drive 15 miles each way. They have a gr8 variety of classes to choose from and my favorites are the hot yoga classes. There are several teachers each having their own personalities and styles so it's never the same old routine. My gym is 5 minutes from home with free yoga but the trip and the cost are so well worth my trips to Tula......I truly come out a different person than the one that went in! read more

I'm going to start by saying I was never a 'yoga' person. Kickboxing yes, HIIT classes, Bootcamp classes yes. I tried Tula after realizing I need to stretch more as I kept getting back pain, hip aches etc doing these other workouts. Walked into Warm Flow taught by Jennifer and was extremely impressed. Not just the way the studio looks, which is clean and calming, but this class WAS a challenging workout in a much different way. I slept like a baby that first night. Like I haven't slept in years. Jennifer is fantastic at what she does. And I've also taken Warm Flow Yoga Pilates on Mondays. I think the teacher is Mary. Truly wonderful. I first came to Tula shortly after they opened in 2013 for more information about teacher training, and I'm so glad I did. Tula's teacher training program is amazing. I learned so much, met amazing people, and my life completely changed for the better. You learn from some of the best yoga teachers in the state (really, in the tri state area). Not long after completing my 200 hour teacher training, I signed up to continue on for 500 hours with Tula. Both programs were spectacular. This studio is not only clean, spacious, gorgeous, and zen, they have amazing teachers and staff. From beginners to aerial yoga and even barre...you will be challenged to your own personal comfort level. Even kids! I also love that Tula holds different workshops and events. In 2015 I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. I went from being an active mother of three to walking with a cane within months. I have been able to get the pain under control over time, but exercise, which is essential to staying healthy with this disease, has not been easy for me. I decided to give yoga a try. Thanks to a great friend pushing me, I signed up for Tula Yoga. I can not say enough for the peaceful, positive environment of this studio. The instructors are extremely knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable immediately. I am always sure to explain my situation which limits my joint mobility and flexibility. They are always right on hand with modifications and suggestions that make the class work for me. I am getting stronger every day and feel a new sense of confidence and pride in myself. Place is beautiful n clean however dont take the hot yoga if there a class b4 as it is not aired out n smells really bad, few times i had to hold it down as the smell made me almost vomit, would be nice if they gave a 15 min break in between these classes to open the doors and air it out.the . Not loving the incense b4 classes either as i am allergic to the smell as im sure many people are as well. I guess they do it to mask the body odor but if they just opened the doors n ran some fans between classes that would be better . The instructors are very nice ,but some seemed inexperienced .But for the hour its enjoyable. They do offer good rates so catch the specials. I came across Tula while browsing on the web for a yoga studio close to home. I hadn't taken a yoga class in quite sometime so I was a little unsure about how I would do, but decided to give it a try. I took a Hatha Yoga class and really enjoyed it. I thought Jennifer was a really good instructor. I enjoyed the class. The studio looked great & clean. The one thing I didn't like was that the room was too warm for me. It was not a 'Hot Yoga' class. If you enjoy Hot Yoga, you will probably enjoy classes there. read more
