I had a very bad experience with Dr. Jennifer Galbraith. She rushed through the appointment and didn't take my serious health concerns seriously. When I tried to express myself, she said, "I'm not going back and forth with you over what Google says," which came off as dismissive and unprofessional. She showed a clear lack of empathy and care, completely disregarding what I was trying to communicate and just handed me a bunch of prescriptions. Her demeanor was cold she rolled her eyes, cut me off, and made me feel like I was a burden rather than a patient. I will never return, and I wouldn't recommend anyone go here while she's working. WOW!!!!!!!! This must be where all the intelligent and nice people hang out to earn a paycheck! I entered having chest pains and in less than 10 minutes I had my EKG and blood drawn. The team was efficient, friendly, informative, and caring. The doctor, the X-ray technician and even the financial adviser were very kind. I made mention of these thoughts to a young lady while she checked my blood pressure for the second time. I learned all the employees were hand picked to work at this location. So, the attitudes are quinine. I mean I am always nervous to put a gown on or remove my bra for an x-ray. But I felt so comfortable in taking it (clothing) off that when I left, I thought I should have earned a few dollars. I'm kidding, of course! I'm a modest woman trying to make a funny. My first encounter with this hospital was getting Covid tests during peak Covid. They always had same day appointments that you could schedule online and have minimum contact with anyone. It was great and my insurance covered it all. But my 5 star "go here if you can" review is after my interaction with them last night with my (adult) daughter. The staff was so friendly, helpful, accommodating, caring, attentive and communicative. I can't thank them enough. This is what healthcare should be. Small, caring, attentive hospitals that actually have the time and abilities to care and have great staff to show for it. I really hope they see this review. Went there for my ankle, and wasn't sure if it was sprained or broken. Service was great. My ankle was totally broken in 3 places. I got x-rays and a then soft cast. I thought this was a minor emergency clinic. My problem is with the charges. $4448.48. For x-rays and a wrap?? I have fantastic insurance, and they paid $1183. Strangely Tulsa ER knocked off $2806 on their invoice for no reason. But they are still billing me $460. Seems fishy... maybe go to a real minor emergency before going here. Also, they wouldn't send my x-rays to the surgeon, so I had to pay for more x-rays... read more

Horrible bedside manner. Dr. Stepanek is absolutely awful. I broke my wrist a week ago and was seen by an amazing Doctor there. I returned today to be seen because my pain levels are intolerable and my PCP told me since he can't see me until Monday to try Tulsa Er and Hospital again. I was told by Dr. Stepanek that I shouldn't have came to Tulsa Er and hospital and that it wasn't an urgent care, and was wasting his time. While I do understand now that they aren't an urgent care, I don't understand how someone who spent years training to HELP sick and hurt people could be so insensitive. I wouldn't recommend this place. The rest of the staff were kind and compassionate, however, Dr. Stepanek is likely burnt out and not a caring doctor. read more

Yesterday I came into Tulsa ER with some pretty bad kidney stone pain. I was takin to the back within 3 mins and had an IV in my arm 2 mins later. The facility, nurses & the Doctor were very nice. Also this morning I missed a call from the doctor asking how I was feeling and if I needed anything to give him a call. Took our 5 month old in with a high fever. We were checked right in, no wait and an incredible staff was waiting for us as soon as we got to the triage room. Impeccably clean facility, in and out quickly and the staff were professional with a great bedside manner that put us at ease. Can't say enough great things about Tulsa ER & Hospital.
