Well I believe there was a change of ownership or change of management...but wow. What a disappointment. My son turned 16 and I decided to bring 24 people friends and family members here. First off, every one of the "referee's" give off a "I don't want to be here vibe". They were short and condescending when questions were asked, and favored "regular" players. I walked in and purchased 8,000 balls. The first 5 matches, were on the same course. It was small and all we played was team elimination. I literally felt the referees were conspiring to make everyone was their paint in order to make more money. I asked the referee if we could play an objection game, he blew me off. I asked if we could change courses, they told me no. I believe this location advertises they have 12 courses, we played 4 all day long...huge disappointment. Third complaint, I also asked what I believed to be the manager...could we play a match where our observers can actually watch a game? Can they wear masks and sit to the side? Can we play on the course which is near the rest area so they can watch their kids / friends play? Blew me off. I will never go back here.

Thought we were booked for a private party for 2 hours but we were booked as "walk-ins". I got this as a gift for my siblings 30th birthday and it was a tragic mess lol... We expressed to the workers that majority of our group were first timers and we asked if it was possible to upgrade to a private group. Unfortuntaly they had another private group coming in 1.5 hours from then... Still not sure why we couldn't be upgraded for 1.5 hours though? They ended up putting our group against a group of regulars who were VERY experienced. We all got brutally shot right away... Everyone in my group was in pain and super upset. We couldnt even tell who was on the opposite team because people just kept joining the games at the last minute after we were already set up. We thought these guys were spectaters, until they nailed us in the neck with paintballs. ALSO, there guns are MUCH more powerful then the rentals. Some guys had there personal guns set to automatic... A lot of us walked away with bruises all of our body (mostly our necks). These guys would continue shooting us even when we raised our hands and gun up, showing that we were already out. We barely had time to shoot our own guns because these exprience players shot us immeditaly and accurately. Our rental guns barely even worked. The paintballs would fall out and leave us empty (great waste of money there). The guns would jam up. We basically drove an hour and half and paid a ton of money to get our asses kicked lol... I hate to leave such a negative review, but my group had a terrible experience and we all left not having the fun we expected. The workers were very nice but there wasn't much help for our first time. I'm sure it's a great place to go to if you have your own equipment and lots of experience under your belt. But I wouldn't recommend coming here if this is your first time paintballing.

Out of nowhere, she will start using a totally new word or singing a new song and then she'll tell us she learned it at school. As she has grown, the curriculum has grown with her! They should strongly consider expanding the tennis/pickleball courts to increase the amount of play that can happen at Brightbill. My only real concern is the high schoolers being dangerous in the parking lots. I've experienced multiple incidents where there was reckless driving involved at Brightbill for the new "secret assassin" trend going around.

Bonus: an appearance from the Easter Bunny? Say less. We were in! Booking tickets online was super simple, and we selected the 12pm seating. Ahead of the event, we received instructions via email directing us to obtain a Visitor's Pass to access the Carlisle Barracks, which I appreciated -- anything to streamline the day-of process. Unfortunately, their automated pass system was down, and despite multiple attempts to resolve it ahead of time, we were told to just arrive 30 minutes early with IDs and handle it on-site. That's where the adventure began. On Easter morning, we plugged the provided address into GPS and confidently set off... only to be led to a closed gate with a sign that simply read: "GATE CLOSED. USE OTHER GATE." Cool, cool, cool. Which gate? Where? I don't live or work here. No idea. Calls to the contact number went unanswered (understandable given the holiday, but still not ideal), and we found ourselves driving around Carlisle trying to solve what felt like an Easter scavenger hunt we did not sign up for. We eventually made an executive decision to head to the Visitor Center, which -- surprise! -- is exactly where we should have gone in the first place. Once there, we got through security fairly easily, but were given only verbal directions to the venue. We were told there would be "good signage." Spoiler alert: there was not. We had to stop twice to ask for directions before finally finding the building. By the time we parked, I was equal parts relieved and hangry. We arrived about 30 minutes early as instructed and checked in, only to be told to wait in the bar area because the kitchen was "catching up." Totally fair -- things happen -- but the check-in area already felt a bit chaotic. The bar experience followed suit, with some confusion around seating and tabs, but we rolled with it and grabbed drinks while we waited. As noon approached, the lobby filled quickly with guests waiting to be seated. After confirming we wouldn't lose our place in line (because we had, in fact, been waiting patiently), we were finally seated right on time. Once inside the banquet room, we quickly realized this was going to be a bit of a self-service experience beyond the buffet. We were glad we had already grabbed drinks, because our server didn't make it to our table until we were well into dessert. Around the room, other guests were also wondering about drinks, table clearing, and general service. It was clear the team was doing their best, but the coordination just wasn't quite there. Now -- let's talk about the food, because this is where things turned around. The buffet itself was really well done. A great mix of breakfast and lunch options, with everything from eggs and bacon to carved meats, mac and cheese, and roasted vegetables. There was something for everyone, and everything we tried was solid. But the absolute standout? The chocolate cake with peanut butter icing and crushed Reese's peanut butter cups. Listen...this cake was LIFE-CHANGING! Rich, decadent, perfectly peanut buttery -- I had a massive slice and absolutely could have gone back for more (and considered it). My adventure buddies were equally impressed with the candied sweet potatoes and the Italian lemon crème cake. For $35 per person, the food absolutely delivered. We made sure to grab photos with the roaming Easter Bunny before heading out, which really tied the whole experience together and gave it that festive, holiday feel we were hoping for. Overall, despite the logistical challenges getting onto the base, the lack of clear directions, and the somewhat disorganized service, we genuinely had a really nice Easter. Not having to cook, clean, or plan a full meal was a win, and the food quality made it worthwhile. Would I attend another public event here? Possibly -- especially if the price and menu felt right. Would I host an event here? I'd have some hesitation based on the coordination challenges we experienced. But as far as Easter 2026 goes...we ate well, got our bunny photos, and made it an adventure -- which, honestly, is kind of on brand.
