My grandkids had a great time here. It was a great place for indoor play on a hot day. The owner was friendly and nice. Yes, we did have to purchase their grippy socks, and that would've been nice to know ahead of time. But it's a one time purchase and you keep them for future visits. We loved all the indoor play areas. You are not allowed to bring any of your own food or drinks inside. They have a small café, but it's mostly sodas and snack type foods. We did not do any cake or cupcake decorating. It seemed a little pricey. But I thought the price for the indoor play $15 for two hours was fair. read more

We came here for a play place with the kiddos. First, any play place where an adult has to pay is crazy to me... and then I HAD to buy their socks. I had non skid socks for both kids, but I had to wear theirs. And my friend was there within 6 months, bought their socks, brought them back, and still had to buy their new socks. So for me and 2 kids it was ~$40 for 2 hours. Seems crazy. Also, the majority of the place is concrete, so non skid socks seemed like overkill. They should invest in more padding since little ones are running around. You can't bring in your own food, and the owners young kids were running the snack bar. I think that's cool, but definitely would rather bring my own snacks (and water for that matter) for my picky eaters. It was a cool place to check out once but probably won't be back. read more

I'm disappointed with how we were treated. We came to Jubilee cake studio expecting a fun-filled day. My older kids were interested in doing a bakery craft. However, when we asked about it, the employee told my teenage daughters they would have to leave immediately after finishing due to "capacity," even though there were plenty of open seats available. Overall, it didn't make sense and left us feeling like we weren't valued as customers. On top of that, the space felt disorganized and messy, with items not put back where they belonged, which took away from the experience in the mini house area. read more

My little guy loves it here. He plays the full 2 hours and I can always guarantee a great nap and good nights sleep after a visit. We like to come here on rainy weekends or in the winter to get out of the house. Have always had a very good experience. The owners are super friendly and accommodating too. read more

We did a girls night out here, it was great! The staff here are really helpful and explain how to make the decorations. The cake comes already baked, and the fondant was freshly made. The location is right at the corner of the shopping center, so close parking was a little difficult to find, plan some time to walk from the lot. No outside food or drink allowed. read more

If I could give zero stars I would! We've supported this family owned company for years so when it was time to throw a birthday party for my daughter it was a no brainer.... Or so we thought. We planned a cake decorating party with 8 kids and paid $550 for 2 hours. The entire party was a disaster from beginning to end with me having to constantly search for our "coordinator" who was super condescending and snarky. Not to mention that the kids kept stating that everything smelled like playdoh. We were often left to our own devices, hence my constant need to locate staff. When they brought out the small cake that I paid an extra $40 it was poorly iced/decorated and we weren't given plates or cutlery to serve it. But in every interaction I had I was reminded to be done by 3pm. So I'm being rushed but they were dragging their feet to get everything done. My mother attempted to express how unprofessional and disjointed things were happening she was shut down and told we needed to be out by 3. Here's the kicker the didn't even bring out the cake boxes until nearly time to go but claimed they gave "extra time to decorate " as again we were left to our own devices. I asked to speak to the manager and was never allowed. My daughter only had a few minutes to open her gifts and was so embarrassed and frustrated and when I reached out to express our displeasure we were met with poor justification, victim blaming and a threat of a police report for harassment which I greatly believe is race related. They completely manipulated the situation and take no accountability for their poor behavior and business practices. Do yourself a favor and stay far far away. read more

If I could give ZERO stars I would. I visited this establishment recently and left utterly disgusted. Upon arriving we picked out our cupcakes, icing, sprinkles, etc. We paid for 2 children and one adult to go in the play area. We were told by the owner's daughter that was working at the time that we had to purchase grippy socks for each person at $3/per person. Keep in mind this is not mentioned anywhere on their website. My mother decided that was pricy so she walked over to TJMaxx and bought grippy socks. When she came back she showed the socks to the owner's daughter and she said that they were fine and we could use them. The kids started playing and were in the play area for 50 minutes when we noticed another girl running and telling on other children. Not long after, the owner's daughter, approached us asking if we had grippy socks. Again we said yes and she asked to see them. After showing them to her she then said that they were NOT grippy socks and would not suffice. My mother mentioned that it's not fair for one of the girls playing to be tattling on other children especially when this worker (the owner's daughter) approved the socks we bought. The owner's daughter when from 0 to 100 and started verbally accosting my mother yelling at her saying that little girl is her sister and she is attacking her and that we need to leave. We immediately said that was not appropriate, unprofessional and just not necessary. She continued to yell at us and went to the back to get her mother. Once the owner, her Mom came out of the back she approached us and said that the one employee is new and as soon as we said it was not that employee but the other (her daughter), she immediately started defending her. She did not ask us what happened, just said that she wanted to look at the socks, then proceeded to say that those socks were not good enough (AFTER HER DAUGHTER APPROVED THEM). She said her daughter was right and then when we mentioned how she verbally accosted us, she threatened to pull the security cameras to prove we were wrong. I said we need to leave and we want our money back as we paid for a two hour play time slot and they only paid for 50 minutes. The owner looked at me and said "why, they still got to play?". I am still baffled as to how any business owner in the service industry can treat customers like that let alone allow their employees to treat their customer's like that. Also, I know the owner will respond to this review. For anyone thinking of going, just don't. Go down through the reviews, see for yourself. On every negative/slightly negative review the owner comments and does not address the customer, but every aspect where they were wrong and how their review is illegitimate. Why would anyone want to go to a place where the owner is not even willing to admit their failures or just simply apologize? Just a thought. **Not to mention the owner requires these grippy socks but she posts pictures every day on Facebook and in those pictures children are not wearing grippy socks in the play area. I signed up a group of friends for a kangaroo baking event at Jubilee Cake Studio. Our goal was six people - two moms and four children. Rather than using a website, the small business owner used a Facebook form and there was a glitch with adding additional children to the reservation. I politely asked for help with the overcharge by email with Jubilee Cake Studio's glitch and then wrote on Facebook Messenger when they didn't help. After one week, I called to ask for an adjustment for the overcharge and the business owner hung up on me. Stay away! read more

I was not impressed with the class my son participated in. He has a learning disability so I stood near him and was told I wasnt allowed to stand there. When my other son went to check on him he was scolded! I will not be going back or recommending this place because discrimination with a disability shouldn't be happening in an environment that's suppose to be fun! read more

A gem of a place! We took our son here last minute after finding it online by mistake. Let me start off by saying that it's in the middle of nowhere. Lol We drove an hour to get there and when we arrived we were greeted by two teenage girls. They were friendly . The place was clean and we were very happy with the service. It was my sons birthday and the owner gifted my daughter a chocolate cupcake so that she could decorate with my son. We were the only people in the entire place so that was nice. I recommend this place so much. It's decoration is colorful, the prices are reasonable and the kids had a blast decorating these fondant covered mini cakes they sell. They give you fondant, icing and sprinkles to choose from wIth your 20 dollar mini cake. It's very fun. We will definitely be back next year. We loved it! read more

Jubilee Cake Studio is such a fantastic outing! I took my three year old and let her pick everything - cake, fondant, icing, decorations. We spent an hour making our "masterpiece." The studio has some actual masterpieces on display so you can check out a good cake for inspiration, as well as all the tools you can possibly need. They are super responsive and quick to help too! My daughter had so much fun, and it was a very reasonable price. I want to bring my older kids soon, and book a birthday party for her! I saw a family with high school age kids making cakes too as well as a grandma/mom/child team, so this is definitely fun for a wide range of kids and adults. read more

Jubilee Cake Studio was recommended to me by another business owner in the Mechanicsburg area, and I am extremely disappointed. When I arrived for my cake decorating class, I was told to sit down by a teenager named Pessa. She and 2 other teenagers, Malasia and Soffa were the only ones in the store. No adult was working. They spent the entire class giving minimal instruction to everyone, ignored all the participants so they could talk about boys and school. They said things like "My mom owns the shop so I don't care if we get bad reviews", and "I don't wear a name tag so people can't leave a review about me". When some of the people in the class finished early because they decided to just do their own design, they began closing up the store early so they could go get ice cream and food. This forced everyone else to pack up their remaining fondant and leave. They were sweeping the floor and arguing about who would have to clean the bathroom instead of packing up cakes. They made completely unprofessional comments the entire time, barely taught at all, and were completely immature. Bottom line, don't leave teenagers in charge who cannot handle the responsibility, or be remotely professional. Will not be sending anyone of any age here. read more
