She had four years of piano prior to these lessons and lacked in reading music, she would memorize but not take the time to read. Ms Brown is getting the basics down. Mountain Valley is very flexible with scheduling and make up lessons when noted ahead of time. My daughter enjoys her lessons and her teacher. The rates per lesson are comparable, maybe a bit more than previous piano lessons but we are progressing so much more and she thoroughly enjoys the piano again. Mountain Valley also offers once a month group lessons with games and additional learning with other children in similar age groups at no extra cost. Our overall experience with Mountain Valley has been positive.
