The owner tells young musicians, including but not limited to me and my cousin, about how we "have no skills," and that "whoever told them they are musicians is dead mistaken." To prove to him that he was wrong, my cousin played the bass lines from Black Sabbath's "Children of the Grave," to which he responded in a neutral manner. My cousin then played "The Boys are Back in Town," on bass, a song which he had learned by ear, and the owner responded that he "was doing that in the 70s" and that my cousin was "doing it wrong," even though he had no evidence to back it up. He continued ridiculing us, and I doubt that such a person running a business selling musical instruments will survive if they discourage young musicians from becoming musicians, as there will be nobody left to buy from the store. read more

Craig and his team are the best! These guys went way out of their way to fix my son's upright bass. We were just passing through town when we heard a noise in the truck and realized that it was bad news. They literally dropped what they were doing to keep us moving towards orchestra camp. Their service is second to none. Their prices are great and the selection huge. They not only fixed the bass to be in better than new shape but sold us a new bass too! Craig, thanks a million!
