I wish I could give zero stars. Everyone else on here says this place is terribly run, boy are they correct. This place will be out of business shortly. At least you tell someone, make an appointment and we will get to you. But when there's literally nobody waiting there, only one person getting a haircut, and you walk in and they simply say "what, you don't have an appointment? Then we cannot help you." Great place to get your haircut, HIGHLY RECOMMEND Holly! Make an appointment because it can be a bit of a wait as a walk-in. I've taken my son there and we both like the cuts we get. As for the other services can't really help on (the beard trims etc). I've not tried those but if they do a good job on the hair I'm sure the other services may be just as good. Weekends can get very busy so try to go during the week and early afternoon. Place is clean and drinks are good. read more

3rd time in the past 5-6 weeks and my beard trims just get worse. I have used a different person each time and this recent is my last. If I didn't jump who knows what would have happened to my neck. I have been getting beard trims for over 25 years and have yet to ever have this happen. Even the trim was poor as you can see my looking at my beard. Today January 3 tried giving this place another chance. we had an appointment at 4pm. It's 5:05 pm and non of us 3 has gotten our hair cut. Then this Chinese lady was going to cut my son hair, first thing out her mouth was " if he cries I can't cut his hair " what?? So 2 people skipped us! Their explanation was they had appointments. This place is garbage. Holly is a good stylist but has an attitude problem. The other people that work there other than DJ should not be in the hair business. Holly picks and chooses who's hair she wants to cut, there scheduling never works, stylist are not even close to being qualified, heck I had the young Asian guy out 2 hard parts in my hair. Never again. I've tried giving this place multiple chances. They are forever behind on cutting hair. We tried going in today by booking an appointment for 11:30 a.m. and by 12:15 we had still yet to be seated in the chair for a haircut by a particular stylist that I requested. There was another barber that was there that offered her services but we politely declined and when she didn't like that response, she went to the stylist we did request and made a comment that I could not hear but her body language said it and that she was not pleased. So by 12:15 I asked the receptionist how much longer we would need to continue to wait for our 11:30 appointment. She walked over to ask the stylist and after their exchange, I told them that we are leaving. Don't waste your time at this location. It's no wonder the turnover rate in this establishment is non-stop. read more

I called to make an appointment at 5 :30 pm and they told me they were booked but could get me in at 6 I said ok that's fine. I just so happened to get off work at 4 :00 pm and went in to the haircut spot to see if maybe they could squeeze me in early . They said absolutely you'll be next up multiple people began to come in as I got skipped over . Eventually a woman approached and told me it would be a while and I would have to return for my scheduled 6 pm appointment even though I had already waited for 20 min . I returned at 6 pm only to be passed up by 2 other people and now still waiting at 6 35 pm for my name to be called for my haircut. I'm not the first to have issues with this location and know multiple people that have had issues the woman in charge is very rude and has no customer service whatsoever Pearland location needs changes!! I eventually left because I was tired of waiting even though I have been a continuous monthly customer for the past year and also to note I had a friend write a review a month or so ago about this place and they denied they even ever came there which is completely false we all live in the same area ! read more

I had appointments for my 2 sons at 12:15. we waited 45 minutes before my first son was called for his cut. another client walked in and was tended to immediately without a wait. When i brought this up they said he had an appointment and did not offer to correct the problem. Are they saying a guy walks in at least 45 minutes late for his appointment and gets special treatment? Needles to say, my other son did not get his haircut there. I am anything but impressed with the way in which appointments are being handled. It was until 27 minutes past the time of my child's appointment and my sons was still not on the seat for his appointment which I booked the morning of 10//29 at 9AM. Seems like the book for KEN is overbooked and I had no choice but to sit here and wait as my child has school pictures next week. The appointment lady in the front desk blames the booking system. Regardless of the reason, not being able to render a service at the agreed time is a great disrespect to me and my child as we could have greatly benefited from the scheduled time. It is Halloween weekend! Question: How des the salon expect clients to wait when the expectation was to be on schedule? What happens to the schedule clients after me? When I arrived on time, why was I not notified that KEN was running half an hour late? I asked to speak with the owner 3 times and that never happened. Instead, I was given a $3 discount for waiting half hour. I do not understand how the owner came up with a $3 dollar discount for waiting half hour. I am still waiting on the owner's call. I don't know how you can show someone a freaking picture of a trendy haircut that you usually get and they give you a cops haircut. Ken literally shave the back of my head like I told him I was joining the freaking military. And all's I can do is leave a bad review while I wait three months for me to not look like a 40 year old soccer dad. Waited for an hour... just to watch other "appointments" walk right by to the two stylists working. Nobody to answer phones, check customers in and out, serve the beer and liquor. Whoever owns this establishment is either cheap or disinterested in the customer. Either way, won't be back. Shame is, it was a good haircut. This place is absolutely amazing! They are dealing with employee retainer issues, but regardless, they offer the same excellent service every time if you are willing to understand the circumstances outside of their control, as most customers should. Helena, Christine, & Alex do a fantastic job managing the circumstances outside of their control and deserve a raise! 10/10 recommend. Make an appointment over the phone first, and you won't be disappointed! Most people leaving 1-star reviews don't understand the difficulty of the service industry, and unfortunately, during this time, these issues are rampant. Be considerate and recognize that sometimes there are things that employees cannot control, which excuses these minor inconveniences that we as customers are more than able to ignore. read more

This place is the best! They are a one stop shop for all men's grooming needs. Hair, beard, facial, waxing, mani/pedi and throw drinks in on top of it. My kids even enjoy coming here. I think it's cause of the video games and shuffle board. Like any barber, quality of the cut and attention to detail vary across staff so if you don't like one try someone else the next go round. read more

Great new place for haircut. Alex did a great job on my cut, she was sweet and personable. They offered me a drink as soon as I walked in. Test have a full bar. A drink is included. I passed since I had no wait time but nice if you had to wait. Will return again. read more

This Tune Up is by far one of the BEST I've come across (out of the 3 I've tried) and it's mostly due to the new stylist they've recently hired! Shay was such a delight, from her glowing energy to exceptional grooming skill. Will definitely make this my new go-to spot! read more
