When the air conditioning stopped working in her vehicle, I contacted Rabbit and explained the situation. We had already been told by a local dealership that repairs would start at approximately $2,100. Rabbit took the time to gather information over the phone and called me back within an hour with a worst-case-scenario estimate that was still significantly lower than the dealership's starting quote. I scheduled an appointment about a week later, and throughout the entire process Rabbit stayed in touch via text message, promptly answering every question I had. I drove 2 1/2 hours from Henderson, Nevada, to have my daughter's vehicle serviced, and it was absolutely worth the trip. From the moment we walked through the door, we were treated with genuine kindness and exceptional customer service. As a woman, I often feel the need to be on guard when dealing with automotive repairs because of my limited knowledge of cars. With Rabbit, I never felt pressured, misled, or taken advantage of--something I can't say about every dealership or repair shop I've visited. After inspecting the vehicle, Rabbit discovered that the issue was nowhere near as extensive as the dealership had claimed. Not only was the final repair cost substantially less than the dealership's estimate and Rabbit's own worst-case quote, but it also included additional repairs that needed attention. What impressed me even more was that Rabbit offered my daughter and me a vehicle to use while we waited. That level of customer care is rare these days. I truly cannot say enough good things about Rabbit and his team. This was also my first visit to Washington, Utah, and I have to say it is an absolutely beautiful area. Lost the key to my Lugnuts on my jeep couldn't find a replacement couldn't couldn't get help. Went to discount tire. They couldn't fix the issue went to Jeep. They couldn't get them off that somebody recommended I tried to ask and these guys were great went in they managed to move me right into the schedule. Remove your valuables from your vehicle before leaving it for service. I took my car to Tunex for service a couple of months ago. I usually remove anything valuable from the car but keep a small portable rechargeable car jumper in the back compartment. I needed it yesterday and found it to be missing. I had used it about a month prior to the car being serviced. No one else has had access to my vehicle at any time. It's unfortunate that people are dishonest. The item was valued at $125. Beware. I will not be returning there. read more

I took my truck in for an alignment and when I got it back the steering wheel was turned to the right. Took it back in they supposedly fixed it, but still the steering wheel was turned to the right not as much, but it was still turn to the right went back again the third time and I could still see that the steering wheel is turned a slight to the right, don't recommend this place read more

Our 2013 Ford Escape broke down just as we were entering Washington, UT on out trip from Oregon to Oklahoma. The AAA towed us to TUNEX. They said it was the water pump that had just about fallen out of the engine. All the bolts fell out and it was just hanging there. We waited for a part to be delivered and the pump was repaired. Rabbit said he needed a special tool that he thought he had or could buy for the job. We sat in a motel over Easter and all-day Monday waiting for the special tool. Anyway, everything was finished (at a mere 2k) and we were on our way to OK. Two months later we heard rattling from the engine and looked to see the bolts were falling out of the water pump again. Now we have to go to the car mechanic again !! Apparently, the special tool was never acquired, or it wasn't repaired correctly. Since we're in Oklahoma now, we have no recourse with Tunex. That is unless we drive for 2 days back to Utah. :-( read more

They worked on my vehicle and put lifetime drive shaft and brakes paid $1,226.33 , 5 yrs later it has 15,000 mile on drive shaft and it failed. When they quoted this I asked why parts where so high price and they said because the parts had a liftim warranty with manufacturer The parts store where they purchase it will warranty it for free if I have a proof of purchase. The stone in Riverton said that part stores warranty goes out the door when they install the parts. There warranty is 1 year or 12,000 mile so asked if they could look up purchase of the part and the owneer said if I will pay him $ 165.00 and hour he would try but ther probally is no receipt. WOW! I was traveling from out of town towing my travel trailer and stayed by Zion for a few days. I made the huge mistake of using my tow vehicle to hit some dirt roads and explore the back country of Utah. After I did a little damage to my front end on a large rock I knew I needed a shop. After a good amount of research from others in our group they found me Rabbit! When I called him and told what happened, then he heard I was towing a trailer from out of town he told me to come on in. He squeezed me into in his very busy shop, got my entire front suspension completely aligned and adjusted better than it has ever been. He then gave me a ton of advice on parts (not trying to sell me parts) to get to make my life easier towing and other stuff. So thank you to Rabbit and his crew for being phenomenal. P.S. We came from out of town and a problem come up with our pilot and the manager/owner was awesome and friendly. My son has Autism and was very interested in what was happening in the shop. He came in and talked to us about our car and he interacted with my son and paid a lot of attention to us and my son. The price was extremely fair and he was really nice. Tried to price gouge me after my car got towed in by AAA. Be careful out here and always get a second quote from other shops.

We ran into car trouble on a recent trip from Zion National Park back home to Los Angeles. AAA had us towed to Tunex and we were able to wait in the office along with our pet bird in his cage while we hoped we wouldn't have to spend another night on the road. As it turns out the car was ok and even though it has been a few weeks I wanted to thank Rabbit and the crew for making time for us late in the day and getting us back on the road in just a couple hours. My dad is 80 and my mother is 76. They went in to get their driver's side visor repaired and the guy was super helpful and friendly. The visor was ordered and 'fixed'. My mother and dad were thrilled. They drove as far as Cedar City and when my mom went to use the visor it came right off again, it hadn't been fixed right. When they got back to Salt Lake we called to see what could be done. Someone was supposed to call back and never ever did. $150 wasted, and the visor isn't fixed. I get tired of people taking advantage of older people and this is a perfect example of it. read more

AMAZING customer service and car shop. Our 1985 van is old & difficult for many car shops to service. Rabbit & Tunex has helped us when our van has broken down multiple times and they know we aren't rich so they have tried their best to keep things on the cheap side for us! Called these clowns and they said they could look at my vehicle right away. I went out of my way to get to them and I show up and they even tell me again that I will be looked at right away. There is no open service bays. There are 3 employees I watch sit and talk for about 45 minutes. I finally I go back inside and ask politely if I can take my car to the place down the street who will take me right away. The jerk at the counter throws my keys back at me and says,"well you can just take your keys and get the hell out of here!" Hi just want to put this out there for you to be aware. Took my vehicle to this shop for a simple state inspection. They removed my tire to check the brakes. When the tire was put back on the lug nuts were not torqued. This caused the lug nuts to vibrate loose and some of the studs to break, when the tire came off while going down the freeway. I would stay away from this shop. They do not pay attention to the simple details of their job. read more

Very happy with these people. I took a car in to them thinking that it would be a water pump replacement and expecting to pay for it to be replaced. I told them what I thought it was, but was pleasantly surprised that it was only needing a belt replacement. Looking back it would have been so easy for them to do more work than necessary, but they were honest and their rates were very reasonable. Since then I had a clutch replaced which was going to be expensive, but they found an alternate but compatible design that was 1/3 the cost. Never had a problem with them going there for at least 6 years. Always quick to get me in at least the next day if they are busy, but very honest and they do good work. highly recommended. read more

I had the pleasure of dealing with Rabbit, at Tunex, last week when my wheel fell off my van during a family vacation from Las Vegas to central Utah. I was driving through the virgin river gorge when my left rear tire came off my vehicle due to an installation anomaly by Discount tire. The Discount tire in St. George was unable to repair the damage caused by the tire coming off. Tunex was just across the parking lot so I went in and talked with Rabbit. He said they could help me repair it if Discount was willing to use them. Due to the time sensitive situation of my trip, Discount was willing to send my van to them to be fixed. They spent the majority of the day taking care of my situation and got me back on the road within about 6 hours! Tunex literally turned lemons into lemonade and got me out the door so my family vacation (with three kids, a dog and a wife) could still happen. If I lived in St. George I would make it a point to use them for any of my auto repair needs, as they were honest and customer oriented. Took in my Taurus that was misfiring. They diagnosed it as a fuel problem, charged me about $300 for it. When I went to pay, they said the car needed about $1,200 more in additional work. I asked again if they fixed the misfiring, and they said yes. This additional work was needed for other things they saw while fixing the misfiring issue. Got in the car and before I even left their parking lot, it was obvious the misfiring was no better. Turned around and went back inside. The manager somewhat rudely defended the "work" of the technician, and eventually agreed to put in for free a $60 bottle of some fuel treatment that would take care of the problem, but not immediately. At that point i needed to get back to work for a phone conference, so I left. Of course, the bottle of whatever didn't do anything and the check engine light quickly came back on. I took it to another shop, they correctly diagnosed it as a bad coil pack and I was out for less than I paid Tunex. Doing some additional research after the fact, this seems to be a fairly common problem for the 24 valve DOHC Taurus engine. I took my car to Tunex because they touted their ability to diagnose problems. Since what I was experiencing could have either been a fuel or an ignition issue, that seemed like a good idea.
