Not everyone out in public or even within being on line, is going to like you. My medical condition has showned me this from both perspectives on who we see for the day and how they look at you and treat you. For ppl like US with these issues on our health, expects the charity reflection as the Drs visits are the primary expectations for this sense to live out our hopes to be respected and admired. Dr Lai's Office is far from the Walk In process at the hospital when things are really serious at the mid to high level, Dr Lai is a lower level of a Dr of Medicine, their main concern is to be judgmental for the referrals, ER emergency transfer, and the scams of fraud on relatives using their elders of mischievous reasons only they are not aware of , etc. They get calls all the time on Srs missing their meds so the judgmental part is a professional approach to many as they do this to me insuring my twin junkie not there, lol.. I can only expect this no matter how many years I have to see him for I rather complain about my overall health status than to look for an escape route to blame and bicker towards the public and become an online bigot for not getting what I want and expect. I gave them 3 stars and like many would like relations a bit better but best to always follow up of issues or concerns they will and overlook due to their jobs being the way it is of the Office being a low urgent matter regarding medicines and expected of the low numbers of patients they serve , which helps a lot for not having to wait too long as I did for 3 hours as a walk in but expected in any other clinic so best to always plan ahead to call in and schedule. Definitely would not recommend going here. The receptionist is incompetent. My dad needed paperwork filled out by the doctor to be able to see a specialist. The paperwork was faxed to their office almost 2 months ago and it still hasn't been signed and approved by Dr Tung. I am unable to set an appointment for my dad without that paperwork and he's in lot of pain. I called a few times and they said they would get to it. I Haven't heard back since. I saw Dr. Lai recently, and I had a good experience. He has good bedside manners, a calming demeanor. I went to see him for a routine matter, but felt that I would be in good hands if I needed medical attention. AVOID THIS DOCTOR. I have been fighting medical claims since October thanks to misinformation that was given to me by the referral specialist at this office. I was trying to book an appointment w/ Dr. Lai for weeks to get preventative shots and he is NEVER there. The referral specialist told me that I can go to any pharmacy to get it done, so I went to CVS since I knew the pharmacist there. They ran my information and it showed as $0 copay, great. Months later, Aetna claims I owe them money for these shots. I appealed to Aetna and in their denial, they said they couldn't even reach the referral specialist, that she never returned their call and that was that. Goes to show this office is impossible to contact even by corporate. The staff evidently do not follow up on calls. read more

Dr. Lai is a nice guy. However, his office staff is very incompetent. Asked for a test results and told me over email that it is ready. Went over there (since they close from 12 to 2pm), taking time from work, and then gives me the completed request form of the lab. I said this is not correct, and you told me you have the results over email. This older lady kept saying that's all she sees. I feel like she doesn't know how to use the new system because it's all computer based. Looked like she was clicking on bunch of links. Avoid this doctor because he's a terrible PCP. It's hard to get an appointment with him and his staff never follows up on paperwork. My grandfather needed orders written so that Medicare can get everything set up. Three weeks and multiple calls later, nothing got done and then this fool goes on a two week vacation. He is a horrible PCP, save your time and do not go there. He is absolutely terrible. I've seen him twice for minor issues and he talks down to his patients and just throws medicine at them. When I tell him about my symptoms he dismisses them and speaks to me like I'm five. The only thing worse about this office is his staff! It takes two weeks to book with this fool because he is always on vacation. His staff barely acknowledge you when you walk in. My parents go to him due to the fact that they don't speak English and he is a Vietnamese doctor in the area. Dr.Lai is a great doctor! He's a bit quiet but he listens to everything I have to say. My experience with the staff was good also. A little hiccup with my insurance but that was an easy fix. I guess I don't see anything wrong with this clinic because I've been going to Vietnamese doctors all my life. Customer service wasn't really our top priority lol but I guess that's not an excuse. Overall, every time he refers me to a specialist everything goes smoothly. You have to go to a lab for your blood work which is fine with me. Refilling my prescriptions is always a breeze. Also when i was a new patient I had to wait almost a month and a half for my appointment. Which is normal when you're a new patient. Waiting room is clean, exams rooms a little dated but I will continue to have Dr.Lai as my pcp! read more

Dr. Tung is not the best, but he's not very bad and actually very helpful. However, his staffs and receptionist are just junk. They don't work with the customers, they don't work for the office, they work on their on wills. Some of them even act like they have the power of control there. Dr. Tung, please read all the Yelp reviews down there and think about it for a minute. Ask yourself why so many people complain about your staffs. If you want to keep your business, you need to replace your staffs! Those people don't show a level of education and personality where they can work with the customers. I've come to this office a few times and didn't really have much to do with the staff until lately. I came with a preventive care form requested them to sign. While talking to the receptionist, another woman with short hair behind her back kept leaning down and saying something secretly to the receptionist, sometimes looked up with a hateful looking, I'm sure she already put some kind of bad assumption/conclusion about me. Every time she did this, the receptionist then turns back to me and told me something new... Both of them are Vietnamese and can talk to me in either languages, but the one with short hair preferred to do secret communication with her teammate and only looked at the customer when she wants to show her hate. I'm not sure who this woman was, Dr. Tung's wife? but the way the receptionist has to listen to her for directions, I can see she has the control. If you are looking for a new physician, STAY AWAY. It'll be a waste of time because you'll be switching to a new physician in no time. The staff is extremely unprofessional and unorganized. They don't have a sense of urgency and respect for people's time. I don't even know if the physician even knows what he's doing. I speak Vietnamese and was favored and even I recognize how unprofessional this facility is. My mom came in to get her blood drawn when they opened at 9am and she didn't leave until 11am.. they close at noon. Are you kidding? Don't go here..I have a appointment here at 11am ..but show up at 9am for the blood test..I was waiting for my appointment..but I saw they allowed 3 or 4 walking patients to go before me , even through they came around 10am..when I asked them they said I have an 11am , so they allow the walk in to go first.. read more

WORST pcp ever, always booked 2 weeks out, does not listen to anything you have to say and unless you're Vietnamese would not give you the same level of care. Only been to see him twice both bad experience-lack of knowledge and compassion. Appointments always run 1hr to 1hr 1/2 late all the time. Went there to see the doctor but there was a mistake that my insurance didn't assign this doctor. Wanted the refund for $20 co-pay and one of the staff in the front was giving me a hard time. My daughter was having a mental breakdown and I saw one of the staff in the back laughing and making fun of her. This is not how you treat people with mental disorder. I have been bringing my man to Dr. Lai for over a year . He is a great Doctor , very knowledgable and personable . What I really like about him , he takes his time to explain diagnosis and answered any question you might have . Good doctor. Staff okay, BUT, Sana of Medical Billing Solutions, who is in charge of billing REALLY STINKS! Now, I am one who does not visit the doctor often, but, for the past two years. when I had gone into the office, they tell me that I owe them money. I have not owed them anything and now have to call the insurance company to clear it. Very frustrating when the first thing after checking in, the first thing they tell me,"You have a balance past due" They told me this in 2014, now 2015 and both times they were WRONG! Now, the call to insurance company, they fax bill paid in full, I tell the office worker to be expecting the fax, I see Dr. Lai, prescription written, as I am leaving, I ask the office worker if he received the fax yet, his answer "No", another worker overhears our conversation, she checks the fax machine, it is OUT OF PAPER, she puts in paper, fax machine spits out a thousand pages (sarcasm). Seriously people, know how to do your job! UPDATE: Got here 2/26/2015 and signed in at 8:55 am. Hours of operation 9-5. Two other people walk in, now 9:15 am. One asks, "Is the Doctor in?" Answer from idiot girl behind the desk, "No, he doesn't get in until 10:00" WTH? I ask, "Why didn't you tell me that when I checked in?" Dr. Lai is a great doctor who builds a good relationship with patients and keeps things in perspective.

Great Doctor. Very thorough exam, he called and left me a message about my tests results. But most of the time when I call to make an appointment they are not there. Have to call several time to talk to someone. I called the place and spoke with one girl ( I think her name is Christine), telling her that I need a referral to go see a specialist for a private matter I cannot mention here but I did tell her. She informed me that she will tell the office manager and the office manager will work on it. One month later ( yes I keep record of when I call )I called the place again, (yes I am very patience person and I thought they must be very busy so I didn't want to call back soon). This time she told me that they have faxed the request and will be ready in about 1 week. I called back again after more than 2 weeks and this time the girl I talked to asked me "what referral?" "what is it for?" She told me that there were no record of any of my referral request. So I explained everything to her again and she told me that in order for me to get a referral to see a specialist I have to go see the Doctor again, which I do understand and was expected because I am a health care provider as well. But what I don't understand is why she didn't tell me that the first time I called? Who was the person that told me my referral was faxed to the specialist already and that it would take about 1 week for me to get the paper in the mail? So in conclusion, the staff are not doing their works, not follow-up with paper works, telling lies? read more

Dr. Lai has been my primary doctor for about two years and I couldn't be happier. Dr. Lai isa great listener, compassionate and care about his patients well being. Not once did I experienced any sort of problem like Kelsey K mentioned. One or two days for referrals are normal as it has to be processed by the insurance carrier. For some carrier it may take longer than others. I would've never waited a month before getting in touch with the office if my referral is urgent.
