The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, and most importantly, the prices are very reasonable for being a small business in a small town. I'm so glad the owners didn't try to "modernize" it... and make it something it isn't... to me, it was a historical landmark of what my grandpa's drug store might have looked like... that was really fun... This store is located in the Quarry Village area, which is conveniently located next to a few of the main eateries inside Yosemite, as well as some of the main camping grounds in the park. This store is not as big as some of the other stores in Yosemite Valley so just keep in mind when looking at their selection. I do think this is a good stop for a quick snack, or just some drinks. They do have a souvenir section but frankly is not as great when compared to some of the other stores. Just to give you an idea, this shop had like six hats to choose from, when another store in the valley easily had over fifty hat options to pick from. However, regardless of their variety I do think this store is very convenient and the staff that works here is great. Since the store is pretty small and can feel a little crowded, the staff works really hard to move the line as quickly as possible and get everyone out to their next adventure.

It was under $10 for all of it, it seemed like a fair price for a shop in a mountain resort considering the coffee would be about $4 at your typical coffee shop. I do not necessarily buy gas here because it's expensive (and rightly so, it's one of your only options - Crane Flat is another option, and that's not going to be cheaper). Given the influx of visitors from all around the world, staff is always polite and helpful. Lines can be very short or very long depending on who else has pulled up.

The service is friendly and the drinks and snacks are reasonably priced. But watch out for the sweets - some of them are priced a bit on the exorbitant side. We paid $4.49 each for marshmallow and nut truffles! They were delicious though, so I guess you get what you pay for!!
