The owner came out, inspected, explained in detail what we needed and gave us a quote. He also offered that Xcel was offering a rebate for some of the work we needed down and they would file all the paperwork for it. He was on time, personable and professional and the bid was reasonable and fair. We had the work done and the crew that did the work was on time, efficient, did an excellent clean up after the work was done. They did file the rebate and we received it in the time Xcel said it would take to receive it. It's rare these days to find a business that is honest, timely and fair with respectful crews but Houle Insulation was all of that and more. I would HIGHLY recommend them and in all honesty I am a hard to please customer because I won't "settle" for less than I expect. These guys are good. Because they are good they are busy so just know it may take a little longer to get scheduled but the wait is worth it! We have noticed a huge difference this winter. Heating bills are down and the house feels warmer.

We were lucky to squeak in on a cancellation, so we actually got our appointment set up really quickly. The team who came out are super friendly & efficient, it was nice to see that they even put drop cloths around to make sure our floors stayed semi-clean while they came in & out. I used the "Projects" feature in Yelp to get a few bids and AK was competitive. When I scheduled the appointment to have someone come to the house, they got me on the books for the next day. My wasp problem wasn't an emergency situation, but it was great to know they could come out fast if needed. The specialist they sent out was great and he explained what he was going to do and what the expected outcome was. Within 30 minutes, he'd finished up and was gone. I hope I don't need them again, but I'd hire AK again if ever there's another pest issue!
