My Model X was recently hit while parked, and unfortunately the damage required body work to the front of the vehicle. That also meant the entire hood and front bumper had to be rewrapped. I was honestly pretty upset about it because the wrap looked beautiful before the accident, and Mike had put so much work into getting the car exactly how I wanted it. As soon as I reached out to Mike and told him what happened, his first concern was that everyone was okay. Then, without hesitation, he told me to bring the car back once the body work was finished and he would take care of me. That pretty much sums up Mike. He's always been there when I've needed his help, and he treats you like a friend instead of just another invoice coming through the shop. When I finally got the Model X back from the body shop, Eco Tint got the hood and bumper rewrapped and brought the front end back to life. You'd never know those panels had just been repaired. The wrap matches beautifully, the workmanship is clean, and most importantly, my Model X finally looks like "my car" again. I also have to recognize Sue and Alina. Every interaction with them is easy and pleasant. They're friendly, patient, accommodating, and they actually make you feel welcome when you walk into the shop. He made himself available for any questions and gave me multiple options to choose from. When I arrived, he took the time to go over everything again and provided a quote for my wife's vehicle as well. At that point, it was just a matter of deciding which service I wanted. I ended up going with ceramic tint since that's what I'm used to. He quoted about 2.5-3 hours, which was completely reasonable. I arrived a bit early due to scheduling with my wife picking up the kids. While I waited outside, Chris came out, offered me a chair, and welcomed me inside even though they don't really have a formal waiting area. That level of consideration didn't go unnoticed. I chose not to stay inside long because I didn't want anyone to feel rushed, which can sometimes happen when customers are waiting closely. Once the truck was finished, I was extremely impressed. The tint came out flawless. Chris also gave honest advice about the windshield--I initially wanted 5%, but he recommended around 70% to maintain visibility while still getting heat rejection. I followed his recommendation, and it was absolutely the right call. The quality difference compared to my previous shop is very noticeable. I've inspected the tint closely and haven't found a single bubble. On top of that, he offers a lifetime warranty, which gives me even more confidence in their work. However, this consultation took about an hour, and by 11:00 AM, our vehicle had still not been started, despite having a set appointment. We were told the job would take approximately 2-3 hours due to the windshield tint, so we left and expected a call once the work was complete. Unfortunately, we did not receive any updates throughout the day. By 4:00 PM, after finishing work, we returned to the shop only to find that our car had still not been worked on. At around 4:15 PM, it was clear the vehicle hadn't even been started, and the installers were just returning from a break. We were then told there had been an "issue" with the windshield and that it would take "about another hour." Ultimately, we didn't receive our car until around 7:00 PM -- nearly nine hours after our scheduled appointment time. While the staff remained courteous throughout, the overall experience was very disappointing. The primary concerns were the lack of communication and inaccurate time estimates. If there had been delays, we would have appreciated proactive updates rather than having to return and discover the situation ourselves. Additionally, the pricing was not particularly discounted compared to other shops, which made the experience feel even less justified. Based on this experience, I would not recommend Polar Tint.
