The most delightful part about the Mountain Man is the ooie gooie cream cheese warmed up between two grilled pieces of cheddar. Who ever came up with that, THANK YOU! This place is a true dive. A bit on the dark side and order at the bar. No biggie, I'm just glad the kitchen was open.

I would give this place 5 stars cause me & friends enjoy stopping in here and getting our drink on, but the bartender is so drunk you cant even get a drink. I wouldn't normally complain but its not like its only happened once or even twice. & don't get me wrong there's nothing I like more than free alcohol cause the bartender is so drunk shes not charging ANYONE but it just is not worth waiting 15 mins for a drink while the sloppy ass bartender does shots herself before getting paying customers drinks. How this women still works here is just BEYOND me! But besides that I love this place, just not when its the middle of the day and every 10 mins the wasted broad whos suppose to be serving drinks is standing at the front door smoking. I don't know how they make any money since she practically gives everything away fro free and then she relies on our "good Faith" to be honest when she asks "did I charge you for that last round"? Yea....yea you did idiot. Come in after 6 when sober people are working. Not to mention how disrespectful this server of a lady was to our lady friends. Cheap and sleazy but sometimes that's a desirable thing, until you listen to the ignorant owner babble about invading Mexico 500 miles south to intercept so-called "invaders" fleeing violence in Central America. Ironically, Ramona depends heavily on a migrant workforce with its many orchards. He's not worried about criminals running the district or even the country as a bald-faced kleptocracy, but he's worried about a fictional horde of invaders? He believes we can invade Mexico and do what? Arrest these poor souls and place them in tents, paid for by Mexico? How sad and pathetic. This first-class a-hole believes it's still 1400 B.C. and that we need a physical wall (maybe a moat) from sea-to-sea, to stop muslims coming up from Central America. You cannot make this level of stupidity and ignorance up. I wouldn't patronize this establishment if everything was free and it was the last bar on the planet. read more

I love the Turkey Inn, yeah we locals get rowdy thats how it is. The prices are great and the company is better. If you're not a local, go in with an open mind and you'll do just fine. I would recommend everyone go in at least once and see for yourself. I read these other comments and you guys have no idea how Ramona is. Of course its not a posh place, its a biker/dive bar and you can tell that just walking by. Little does everyone know, Ramonans' are pretty welcoming and this bar is the same way. This place is a total dive filled with tweekers and gross people who stare! Not sure if they were trying to pick a fight since didn't wait around for too long! A fight broke out and the bartender encouraged the fight! I ordered a straigt up jack and it tasted like some cheap ass crap! Probably switched brands but charge for a good drink! The owner of this bar is a racist, misogynist who kicks people out of the bar when he doesn't like the music the PAYING patrons play on the jukebox.
