We had really great service from an older woman though, I forget her name but she was very easy to talk to, was very helpful and as a group we felt she went above and beyond just being a great server.

The food took awhile to be delivered. My friends orders came out first, mine came out a couple minutes later. The presentation looked great. The tater tots were cooked perfectly. The venue is part of the Viejas Casino & Resort, so you can easily make a full evening out of it with nearby dining, shopping at the outlet center, or even staying overnight. What came out were cranberry mimosas, no orange juice in sight. when food came out, it left a lot to be desired. The avocado toast order was awful. plain white, grocery bread barely toasted with an avocado smash (container spread from the store or costco?) and dried grated parmesan cheese (like from the plastic container in the grocer) not as advertised and definitely not what one expects for this dish. The side of bacon was forgotten. The eggs benedict looked ok however the hollandaise sauce was barely existent and what was there was split. Making it barely edible. The other breakfast dishes were just ok. Biscuits and gravy looked good. lots of it and chunky. scrambled eggs and hashbrowns are hard to mess up. But for one person, the hashbrowns were pretty much cooked to a crisp and a lot of grease on the plate. that person left those to the bin. And had a hair on the plate. We had to ask for the bottomless mimosa to be refilled. The server took the glasses, and when they came back, one was orange, one was cranberry and THE GLASSES WERE REUSED! Unacceptable!! if the server didn't know, the bartender should know NOT to reuse glasses. Even if it is our own glasses, you don't reuse them. So, this was a trial to bring some out of town guests this summer for a "home town experience." We won't be coming here. If you want music, mediocre food, and drinks (that you don't have to interact with people) - this will be ok. The band was really good. The food experience was dreadful.

There's a larger back patio filled with various succulents and bushes, ample seating with plenty of natural shade from trees along with tables with umbrellas. The beers I had were world class. Muntz is always a treat but even better from the source and Nectaron Express was an amazing expression of New Zealand hops paired with "devils lettuce" terpenes. Places like this are what elevate this industry and I'm glad that I was able to visit. Definitely a destination that anyone should seek out.

Fast forward to today - we received a gift card as birthday present months ago & we finally decided to use it today and unfortunately, had the same experience... slow service. We were there around 4pm & they were not busy at all. The staff actually looks & acts like they're unhappy to see you. Their sign says to grab a menu, pick a table & order from your server or at the bar. We waited 10 minutes for a server at our table that never came so I went to the bar & waited another 10 minutes to be helped by the 1 & only bartender serving the entire restaurant. So many more rude & weird things happened after this, including never getting our bill & the fact that 1/2 the tables were empty & dirty. Weirdest thing of all is there were about 2-4 men standing around doing nothing but serving dirty looks and the one & only female server kept sitting down at 1 guests table. Not coming back.
