I absolutely LOVE living at Turnberry. I have lived here for a year now and it's such a safe & secure place to live. Granted, yes the surrounding area isn't the best so you're safer to stay inside the gate of Turnberry Towers than to leave. BUT security is absolutely TOP TIER. To enter the gate you either have to be a resident or to be blatantly approved by a resident to enter. Then to enter the front doors you have to have a key fob or be approved by the front desk staff. Furthermore, to reach any floor in the building via the elevators your key fob only gives you access to the floor you reside on. As someone who has lived in a place where security was an issue, I can confidently say that Turnberry had the absolute best security out of any and all places I have ever visited or encountered. That being said the amenities and the staff are nothing but amazing and so polite. This building was the first place I have ever moved to on my own and I absolutely love it with zero regrets. I currently rent but I soon plan on purchasing a home within Turnberry towers because it's SO AMAZING! read more

I don't understand why this place only has 3 stars; I love it here! My husband and I have lived here for over a year now and this is one of the BEST high rises in Vegas. The staff is sharp, you have solid security at the gate, everything is kept clean and all the staff is very friendly. The pool area feels like you're at a resort and has two waterfalls, a dope gazebo and two tennis courts. One of my favorite features is the fact that the front desk can ring you up to your floor anytime (you can call them from the elevator itself)! The valet service is another favorite feature; I have a baby so I utilize this service often and it is a godsend. They also have carts you can use for groceries, luggage, etc. My husband likes to cruise the strip a lot so it's really convenient that we live on the very south side of the strip. The ONLY down side is the homeless people around the corner. I can't really go on walks with my son to be safe but I don't mind driving somewhere to do so. I 10/10 recommend you experience living here at some point in your life. read more

I have friends in both towers and I LOVE this building! If I'd live in LV I would probably want to be here. Both towers are very similar. It has valet but you can self park, beautiful lobby with daily coffee station. Great meeting room with pool table, big screen tv, meeting tables, bar facility. There's a great gym sometimes too crowded with everyone bringing their personal trainer... pool and bbq area are great. The waterfalls are not always on. It's not on the strip but close enough. And there's Katsuya across the street, that's my weak spot for happy hour:) read more

I lived at Turnberry towers for 5 years the first 2 years were great. After constantly being harassed over and over by a resident there and making complaints to the front desk they did nothing about it. Terrible place terrible management!! Not to mention the day moved in the swat team had the place shut down! For what it costs to live here you would expect much less crime. Go somewhere else! read more

You might want to reconsider before you buy or rent here. I have experienced someone always parking in spaces that are not assigned to them. I also noticed dogs walking unleashed in the main lobby. I also noticed that the pool was crowded at all different times of the day and night as it's 24 hours I also noticed helicopters buzzing the building for five and even six times within a half hour. This sometimes goes on most of the night. I also noticed that you will not be able to sleep because of construction going on 24 seven I also noticed that if the homeowners association meeting, nothing gets accomplished when you expressed a concern to the board they tell you things like helicopters are allowed to fly by the building because the FAA says it's OK. They just kind of shrug and say oh well and never take care of any complaints that I've seen in my opinion. H O A is a joke in this building. And finally the valet has lost our car several times because they parked it in the wrong spot because someone was parked in our spot. They have already warned these people three times, but in my opinion, nobody cares! read more

Location: The location is amazing, your far enough away from all the craziness that that can be experienced at the strip but close enough for a cab ride under $10.00. It is located right between old Las Vegas and the major casinos on the strip. I personally love the location. Security: Security is major here at Turnberry, there is 3 major security barriers before someone can even get on your floor to come knock on your door (Main Gate, Concierge Desk for the lobby door, Elevator Key Fob needed per floor.) I love the security here. Cost: It is fairly expensive I think, also I have heard that everyone pays a different price for essentially the same unit. My rent is 2450.00 for a 2 bedroom 2 bath. Amenities: Valet is super helpful to with carrying groceries load or unload your car I love them all, Concierge is always amazing and willing to help you get into your unit of your locked out, Heated Pool 24/7, Jacuzzi 24/7, Full Gym (closes around noon for cleaning), Pool Table inside our social room, 2 Tennis Courts, Mini Golf and BBQ outdoor areas. In the lobby we have gratuity coffee and tea for the residents and guests, only thing that changes from when you receive the tour to when you are a resident is you get Voss water when you visit and non top water when your a resident. Unit Features: 2Bed/2Bath, Lighting in my unit sucks, no lighting whatsoever in the living room. Jacuzzi in master bathroom (mine makes a noise and I have been waiting for 2 weeks to get it fixed, they came by a week ago but couldn't fix it because it needs to get the part replaced. It is very spacious and I love my view, the floors get dirty very frequently and I clean them every other day, not sure if it's the material they are made out of but I don't like them. Washer and Dryer in the units are the worst, very very small and they take forever to wash and dry the clothes. I wish they could find a way to fix this issue. Tips: Get a unit with lighting in the living room, get the best price available, get floor to ceiling windows in your unit and corner units have a bigger balcony. Overall Experience: I love the security and that is the bigger reason why I moved here. If I could move out of my unit and move into a better unit I totally would love here for another year... Instead I plan to find a home to buy and design with great security and lighting and get my washer and dryer installed for my comfort. read more

All about location. Walking distance to SLS and a short jaunt over to the convention center. Maybe a 10 min drive at most to the airport. I like the security in 2 spots, at the front gate to the premesis and located at the tower entrance. Great views of the Strip, Las Vegas Country Club golf course and majestic mountains surrounding the valley. Beautiful lobby and love the swimming pool. We had a great experience renting a one bedroom condo here for 6 months. The approval process was a little intense as they called all 3 of my references, which I thought was interesting for a rental, but I guess they want to make sure they have credible people living in their building. Anyway, everything is clean, updated and the people are great. We had a fantastic experience here and I loved have a view of the Las Vegas country club golf course with all the grass and water feature. Worst place to live. Filled with roaches. Management sucks and all they want is your money to do nothing. Water leaks in multiple apartments. Be careful if you have a dog because this is the most dog unfriendly complex on the strip. Your dog will not be allowed in the elevator or in the lobby but somehow has to get back and forth from your apartment to the dog park. We spent a year here and could not wait until our lease ended. Watch out for the manager Mindy Dent - she will take your money and give you false promises of a beautiful apartment. They will find ways to keep your ridiculously high (3 months rent) deposit and not give it back to you. Mindy also fired a loyal staff member after they found out she was pregnant. WOW!! Bottom line: they are con-artists. New management is needed badly!!! read more

Save yourself the time, headache, and money and AVOID this place. Outside the service department (Valet, desk representatives and cleaners) which were the really only bright star in a black abyss, everything else was a DISASTER! At first they'll make you feel great about moving in. The initial tour was enjoyable, they even point out the great gym and amenities and make you feel good. After you move in, they will try at all cost to nickel and dime you around every corner. I felt like the management team would make up a new excuse for any situation. LIES are what they are best at. attention management: I know what mold looks like...don't treat me like I was born yesterday. their explanation was "its a little water build up" WOW really?! I wouldn't be surprised if they had asbestos growing in the building. Read the fine print before signing the lease agreement! SERIOUS HEALTH ISSUES are outlined Needed to move out immediately because of health reasons caused by living here. Doctors have agreed. My life was more important than staying here another day. read more

Management got back to me today about the "noise complaint" after I advised them about my post on Yelp. I've made 2 complaints about the dogs. They never mentioned that. As far as the noisy neighbor with the dogs/ and furniture noise. They have asked that I call security so they can come into my apt (regardless of the hour) hear the noise and then address the issue with the neighbor. Last night they "couldn't hear anything" (according to security when they went to the apt). It kind of made me feel like I was stiring things up. The woman/neighbor acknowledged the noise and even said "sorry" after I screamed off the balcony so I know the noise came from her! For the past 3 months or so the moving furniture noises starts around 10pm and has gone as late as 4-5am. I suppose working regular hours from 9am-5pm job is irrelevant, and being disruptive to my sleep is not a big deal to Turnberry, but if this is what it takes to get my nieghbor to stop moving furniture and keep the dogs quite, then this is what I will do. Called security around 8.30pm due to dogs yapping, loudly. I love dogs, but people that allow their poor dogs outside in the cold or let them yap uncontrollably is wrong. Security heard the dogs ... So let's see what happens. Maybe animal control will help if Turnberry does not. read more

I loved living at Turnberry Towers. The entire staff was always SO FRIENDLY! I knew everyone by name and vice versa. They were all helpful, nice, and super friendly. The valet staff was always quick to get your door and greet you with a big smile on their face! Whenever I went down to retrieve my car from valet they would literally RUN to get my car. Plus they have an app for smartphones that lets you request it in advance at the click of a button. The grounds were always spotless!!! The gym, state of the art grill, lobby, you name it! The only reason I moved out of the building was to move into a 2 bedroom at Turnberry Place (It ended up being $400 less a month) Otherwise I would have stayed. I almost forgot... They have COFFEE and TEA in the lobby every single day until about 8-9pm. And it's really good coffee too! That was one my favorite things. So convenient! My ONE complaint is for 10 months out of the year that I lived there, the pool was under construction. It was infuriating. But I heard it's all fixed now! read more

I WISH THERE WAS A ZERO STAR OPTION. The management of this building is a complete disaster. They treat big issues with absolutely no urgency and treat the residents like second class citizens. Ex: issue with the pool has left it empty and under construction for the last 7 months. No biggie though, leave it up to management to lie about progress and intentionally delay any decision to fix it until the last minute possible to save cost while keeping the HOA payment the same. And shame on anyone for wanting to know what's going on. If you call the office they respond as if it's none of your business. The most unhelpful people I've ever come into contact with. And the sales office? Great before you move in. Once you're a resident good luck getting them to do anything for you. Empty promise after empty promise. Truly disrespectful. Only redeeming quality: the service staff is excellent. Valet, front desk, cleaners. All great people. Unfortunately they aren't the ones making decisions. Bottom line: do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. There are plenty of wonderful high rises in Vegas (Panorama, Mandarin, Martin, Turnberry Place, Veer). Don't subject yourself to this place. I've been living here for over a year and this place is really great. I wouldn't want to live in any other complex around me. These guys keep the area clean and I have great neighbors! I like the fact that these guys only accept really good people. Not once have I had to complain, or be complained upon. The security makes me feel safe at any time of the day, and that is a STAR in my book, especially living here in Sin City. I just wish I could have gotten a better parking spot. read more

ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT HERE!!! After searching all the usual websites for about 2 weeks, Turnberry Towers cluster was our favorite, even before we got to Vegas. But we loved it even more, after viewing the other options for residential high rises. During our research, reading all the reviews and tours, we did notice that out of the 6 separate buildings for Turnberry Towers, Turnberry Towers West in particular, had the lowest ratings. Digging a little deeper and actually reading the reviews, it seemed it the negative comments were mainly for the strictness of management and staff... with them basically upholding the rules and regulations. (I have since decided those reviews must have been from a few "rule breakers"). I like that everyone is expected to respect the other tenants and the common grounds and are held accountable for their actions. The staff is very friendly, always willing to take time for us personally and again, I love that they don't just turn the other way if they see or hear something that shouldn't be happening. It maintains the security and exclusivity vibe we have here. So, thank you guys for a job well done! After much research of all the available units at Turnberry Towers, we specifically chose Turnberry Towers West, because of the owner, Sam Ko. We found Mr. Ko through a Craig's List ad. Turns out, he owns quite a few in this building. We loved being able to talk directly to the owner instead of having to go through a broker or the in-house leasing team. He was very friendly but still professional. He seemed very interested in having us as tenants which was nice... we didn't just feel like a "meal ticket" or just a "number". He answered all of our questions and was very accommodating. After several phone calls, a few emails and even a couple of text, we were all set to move in, in less than 2 full days. We decided on this gorgeous 3 bedroom unit located on the 37th floor, with this enormous balcony and amazing views. We face South so we see all the flash of the strip without actually being in the middle of it. So cool! Our unbelievable unit looks and feels brand new. Upgraded everything! I do travel a lot and miss the up scale feel, when I'm not here. Between the beautiful grounds and gorgeous pool area, to the full time security and valet, I fill like I have already won big at the casino, just by coming home... And I have yet to gamble since we moved here. My one and only complaint... The in unit Washer and Dryer. They are absolutely the smallest I have ever seen and virtually useless. I'm sure it's some sort of energy efficient thing but I think I might need to check on getting those upgraded to bigger models. So not to leave on a negative... This unit is twice as big as the one we had in San Diego for exactly the same amount of rent. NO JOKE! read more

The apartments are nice and location is good, but it's the details that make it unlivable. Turnberry is the pinnacle of over promising and under delivering. The pool has been inoperable ie ZERO WATER IN IT...for the better part of a year. The disgusting stench of cigarette smoke in the hallways is reminiscent of the cloth seats in a smoker's 84' Chevrolet Celebrity - once a popular car, now a relic of what was wrong with the automotive industry. Management has perfected not giving a shit about tenants once the lease is signed. Avoid getting caught in the Turnberry grip. Once they have you, they'll quite literally maximize your misery for the duration of your lease. Good riddance. read more

As an update to my review - I wanted to mention DEPOSITS. IT is very expensive to move in here - $200 key deposit, 1 month HOA fees, 1 Month Security Deposit, 1 month rent - $500 pet deposit if you have an animal. (will say that I got my HOA deposit back in a few days and they were great.) Nevada regulations state that all security deposits must be returned WITHIN 30 days of the end of the lease. They also state that accompanying the returned deposit must be an itemized account of all and any deductions. From a deposit of $3,500 I today received a check (7 days late of Nevada regulations) for $262.... I had done a walk thru with a lady from the leasing office who said it was one of the cleanest and best move outs she had seen. Even though there is a $250 cleaning fee I had paid to have it cleaned. 7 days late NO description of what deductions were for. Nevada State law also states that the ONLY "non refundable deposit" is for cleaning. Yet Turnberry are helping themselves to 50% of the $500 pet deposit. I have been told that is the case with many others who have moved out - I don't know personally because I never got an account of what MY deposit was spent on...... I have heard this same story for at least 6 other people recently but just didn't expect it to happen. tsk tsk tsk.......Not good Turnberry not good. How the hell do you not get sued monthly by tenants!!! read more

It looks nice on the outside and you want to live here, but there are so many problems I faced as a resident. The workers here are NOT attentive to resolve them. They are not just there for you. For example, In April and May there are so many Moths coming into the rooms every day, and however many times I complained about this situation, they are just ignorant. They just say " It's because of the weather and cannot do anything for you." Do not move here! The building is unsafe. On three occasions, management has entered my apartment without knocking. Twice to show the apartment and once was a "curious" security guard. I found out yesterday, after the latest incident, that there are master keys that are unaccounted for; That's right ladies, you may find a security guard in your apartment when you get out of the shower or out of bed; It happened to me. No hyperbole or exaggeration, I filed a police report yesterday, after the latest "break-in". We now barricade the door because we just never know when someone from CIM or a security guard with a master key is going to pop in. I pay $3300.00 per month for this bs. A big problem with Turnberry is that CIM, who owns most of the units, and the Turnberry building management blame each other for anything that goes wrong. The building management will not talk with any CIM tenants because you are not a resident but a tenant of a resident. CIM is a large real estate firm that is trying to flip the apartments. CIM won't do anything other than send you threatening letters, reminders to pay the rent and refer you to the building management. But, building management will not talk with you. So, there is no recourse other than hiring an attorney and filing a lawsuit. Other issues: There is a pool that is always going to be fixed next week. Now, going on nine months with no water. The empty trench/pool has flimsy tape around it. We are afraid for our son, so we don't go near it. The neighborhood around the building is not great. There is a lot of noise from SLS, construction from the new arena and of course, a lot of noise due to impending construction. Do yourself a favor, avoid this place. Living here just presents opportunities to be upset with people or an opportunity to call the police. CIM will lie and tell you anything to get you to sign the lease. Truly, a very dishonest group with zero integrity. read more

Amazing building. I lived there for almost 2 years and loved the service and the building. I was in the east Tower and thought Tony Rector was one if the best HOA presidents. He did a lot to keep the buildings luxury status while other buildings had some issues over the year. The pool is amazing with waterfalls and a beach area. Gym is first class. Probably one of the worse establishments I've been to in a while. I never yelp, but they declined my service animal when going up to visit a friend for 2 hours. She is documented as a service animal and has been with me for a year and this is the first establishment to have claimed a service animal was not permitted. I used to love coming here and would recommend this place for people to live at and now that will change. Mind you, she has been here multiple times and has had no problem doing so. In that case, it should have been made aware from the very first visit, and then I would have known not to bring my dog. Seems to be a lack of communication among the management Melissa and the rest of the staff. Also, a letter\sign stating that service animals are not permitted would probably be a good way to avoid these situations. read more

I lived here for two years and had a great experience. It is by far the best hi-rise tower of all the towers in Las Vegas. Apartments and condos cannot compare. And now after living in Vantage in Henderson, I really, really miss Turnberry Towers because it is true "Luxury" living. Security: four levels to your unit door. No one's messing with this place or you. HOA: no riff raf getting in to lease here! no way, no how! Parking: great and someone will park you car for you if you want. Sales & Leasing: they are probably the best in the business, thanks Lacy C. for everything. Units: they have everything you need and nothing you don't. The 2 bdrm has balcony on north and south sides so if you open them both you get an amazing breeze through your unit. They clean the windows...amazing. Great views. ***Turnberry, unlike most others: aka Vantage in Henderson, has subfloors inbetween units, sound proofing your unit from others and the outside as well. The Staff: top notch, unbelievably professional with an attention to detail unlike any others. Need something...anything, and it's done. These people really are what makes Turnberry Towers the very best of all hi-rise buildings downtown and if not the entire state of Nevada. And to those who clean Turnberry, top to bottom, 24 hours a day, impeccable! I would consider buying a unit one day in the future. read more

Poor communication from the management. They are quick to remind you of your rent due but when it comes to notifying you of the construction schedule, they do not notify you ahead of time. For the last 2 weeks, there has been jackhammering and pounding noises above me. I work from home and was conducting a teleconference meeting one day when suddenly, loud drilling, pounding, jackhammering noises started to go off above me. Not to mention, my dog started to shiver of fear from all of the construction noises. I have been sending emails to the management office requesting to notify me ahead of time so that I can make arrangements to take myself, my laptop, and my dog to a more quiet area. Nancy, the manager, stated on her first reply of 5 emails I have sent thus far within the last 2 weeks, stated that the construction will only last for a day. Lies! It has been ongoing off and on for 2 weeks now. Also, the pool is still under construction. I moved here in June. No pool! It is now almost Winter time! I've only been here for 4 months and I can't wait to move out. They make you read hundreds of pages of HOA rules, but it's ok for them to violate the noise agreement towards you as a tenant. Had I known I'll get this type of treatment from the management, I would have just moved to a cheap apartment. read more

We absolutely love everything about living here. Wife and I used to live in Turnberry Place in 2005-2007. When we decided to do high rise living again, we looked at EVERY high rise in town for months. Turnberry Towers was set up exactly the way we needed it. The large property within the gates is so expansive you don't ever feel cramped. Gives the residents and our guests a total resort style feel. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. Property is always cleaned by wonderful cleaning staff. The level of security is second to none. The amenities are over the top. Our dog loves the dog park and grass all around property. Finally, the friendly residents make this place feel like home. read more

If you're gonna spend go to Veer or Mandarin or maybe Turnberry Place. Don't ever move in there! They lie and lie and lie and cheat you on your refund when you move out. They estimate your electric bills which is fraud! They admitted to estimating my electric bills, how can they estimate my electric bills when I had just moved in? One month my bill was $25, the next month it was $96, the interesting fact - I had been out of town the entire month! Their rules change daily, and they are nasty about you following them. I loved the location, the front staff and valet drivers but management needs to take a course on customer service. The bottom line is they really don't care if you stay, more money for them if new tenants move in. The pool was only open for one month during my 13 month stay, it took 13 months to fix the pool. They cheated me and everyone else on their electric bills, they forged my name on some amendment to my lease; stay away! They are vile. read more
