This company is as corrupt a they get. I paid my $4000 loan down to $200 in a few monthly chunks. One of their staff members told me I didn't have to make the remaining payment for two years! Obviously I wouldn't wait that long given my track record, but I did hold of for 4 months, I go to the office on Western to close out the account and they told me my remaining balance was $1100!!!!!! I reminded them of the situation and they told me the staff person who gave me information was no longer with the company and I owed them $1100!! From $200 to $1100!! And they tried to collect that money if it weren't for my constant involvement in the matter instead of bailing on the remainder of the loan or just taking the hit. Turner consistently have me bs until I went above their heads and all of a sudden they were willing to settle at the original balance of $200. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! On top of that if you take an auto loan with them and get in any accident where towing is required they will not release the title and therefore you will lose the car...unless you pay off the full remaining balance immediately. Bad service I asked them that I would like to make pay off on Saturday at Skokie location because I will leave Chicago on Sunday for emergency reasons everything should be done within this week so someone at the front on western location keep saying it's closed on Saturday but the office hours on Yelp or Google show that it's opened on Saturday from 9 am. to 2 pm. Total and utter crap. My boyfriend bought a vehicle and since his credit is crap, I was fine with the 19.99 % interest until I we started to have troubles with the vehicle two months later and had to talk to Turner. First off, his very first payment was due on a Friday. I sent out a check on the Wednesday before. They called us at 10am on \Saturday wondering why we hadn't yet paid. It irritated me, but since we hadn't yet "proven" that we could make the payments, I let it past. After two months of on time payments, we called them two weeks before our payment was due to set up a deferment when the truck started to act up. Our first rep, Anna, was nice and told us we could defer for two months so we could get the truck running enough to take it back to the dealership. She never said anything about supplying any sort of paperwork/proof. Two weeks and six days past (6 days after our payment due date) another rep (Jesus) calls me to inform me our payment is past due and asked when we were going to pay. I informed him that I was under the impression that we were holding off on payments for two months to get things fixed. He told me "thats impossible" After explaining the situation he says "oooh! you mean a deferment! well, we can happily do one month, but we need proof that the vehicle needs to be looked by a professional at for two months" Ok, fine, We will do the one month for now. "oh, well, you'll need to talk to Anna again for that." Why couldn't the guy just set it up then or transfer me to who i needed to talk to? We finally get the truck running and down to the dealership. We call turner back to speak with Anna and were informed by a manager that we needed the proof for just one month. Ok, whatever we will do it. We had the dealership fax in the paperwork on Monday and by Thursday of that week we traded in the truck for a new car. The rest of the 3 year loan (only about 5700) was paid off by our new loan. Now, Saturday of the same week, i just get a phone call from ANOTHER rep telling me we are still responsible for the account, its 17 days past due and when were we going to pay. They wanted ME to call the dealership to ask why they hadn't sent them a check for the truck pay off. They acted like they knew nothing about it despite the fact that the dealership had called them previously for the payoff balance! I had to explain to this person exactly what happened and how many people we talked to, what we were trying to set up and that we sent in paperwork and all she said was "ok, thanks" and hung up. Out of FOUR different reps, none of them set up the deferment we talked to them about, even with sending in the paperwork. None of them transferred us where we needed to go. None of them gave us a consistent answer on what was needed of us. And even despite the truck no longer being in our possession, after signing all that paperwork, they are trying to tell me we are still responsible for the account. I have a feeling that even after all the paperwork has time to go through, we will still get something saying we owe them. Never use them, they are nothing but loan sharks that will hound you for everything and charge fees for everything. *Update* a month after getting rid of this loan, I get a letter in the mail for right to correct default. Essentially, they wanted me to pay $441 and proof of insurance for a vehicle that is no longer in our possession or in our names. When I spoke to a representative they nervously laughed and told me to disregard it, but they "just can't wait on this sort of thing" despite the account being zeroed out. read more

I just went to make my husband's final pmt. with this SHADY company and the phone/internet site will only take a pmt. up to 1000.00? They would not even allow my husband to give me authorization to handle this pmt. and said I could not make a pmt. for him? I have been the one making the pmts all along. I got a 4year loan and paid it off in one year. I never had an issue with them! They approve anyone that has a verifiable source of income, therefore they should be allowed to charge whatever they want in interest. I do not understand why people complain about their high interest rates! If you do not want their crazy rates then do not accept their loan - SIMPLE. Only down part of this company is that they do not report to the credit bureaus monthly. My loan still shows a balance of $3900 when it was paid off about 3 months ago. I have disputed that with my credit reports and should see the change in the next 30 days. read more

I had been already been approved for a loan through them for four days. I finally go to the dealership and we go to sign the papers. Upon arrival I was asked for documents that were already provided however I provided them again. After giving me a hard time about the documents I provided (pretty much telling me my lease and paycheck stubs didn't look correct). I was told to do a sheet with references which I did. After waiting several more minutes the lady cane back and told me they could not go through with my loan that I was already approved for because my paycheck stubs and I would need a co-signer. I was told that they already made exceptions with my proof of residency (what more proof do you need than a lease) with a attitude she told me come back with a co-signer or I can't help you. Moral of the story I felt stereotyped the moment I walked through the door and I feel the staff is racist very uncomfortable unprofessional place I don't recommend. read more

From the start she had a very mean tone and was extremely rude. She kept talking over me and would not listen to anything I had to say. i ve had them almost 2 years paid first 9 months then refused to pay anymore due to me having USAA military car insurance sent paperwork in to prove it like 10x they still charged me late fees cause i refused to pay there insurance premium monthly on top of car payment and my insurance. car was down more than drove. just broke down again i called and said come get the vehicle they said are you going to drive it to skokie illinois from Fla i say no im not cars broke down. they go were not coming for it it has been charged off now and in collections. i say what am i going to do with it she said i dont care what you do we dont want it. dont know what to do read more

I have been trying to update my address for 6 months. I keep calling and telling them the new address and they just cannot seem to fix it. I have also been asking for a letter stating my loan balance. I called on 9/22/16 and was told they could not fax or e-mail it to me. They said they would mail it, and here we are 6 weeks later. So I call today and these people are SO rude. Now they say they can't send a letter stating the balance but they can send a payment history list which should have a balance. This place does not get any stars... they do not tell you everything that's in their contracts. I bought a monte Carlo from a dealer n turner was the people who financed the car and maybe two three months later the dealership closed down and I couldn't use my warranty. So I ended up just dealing with with Turner I was so upset by that I just wanted to get the car paid off so I started trying to just pay off the principal on the car but little did I know they never ever told me that I could not pay on the principle on the car who does that?? so I was paying 300 400 dollars sometimes every other week to pay the car off and it was only going to the interest on the car so you know that sucked.maybe 6 months down the line I was in a car accident and my car was totaled. The guy that totaled my car had State Farm Insurance. State Farm which is the best ,paid my car off but Turner said I did not pay them a certain amount within 60 days so my credit score drop down 30 points. But yet again that was not state farms fault nor my fault because Turner acceptance told me thats the date that I got into the accident would have been the cut off date from me having to pay my note but according to this lady lindsay or lucy whatever her name is and yes I'm putting you on blast was very inconsiderate and rude told me no the cut off day was the day that was supposed to pay my car note and another associate told me the cut off date was the day that I got into the accident long story short they ended up taking an extra thousand dollars from the check that State Farm had cut me and taken 30 points off of my credit score I call to talk to them about it and the lady was still disrespectful and did not care about me about the fact that I was a customer. all they want it was their money.they do not care how they got it so trust and believe I wrote this long review so that who ever read this will NOT I repeat will not deal with Turner acceptance I just bought me a Buick LaCrosse and it was kinda hard to get that at first because of the fact that Turner acceptance was who I finance my last car with.come to find out that they're at the bottom of the barrel the dust not the cream the dust nothing no good trust me you do not want to deal with Turner acceptance is the worst financing company. I only saw 2 reviews for this place and since both were awful and I had a asedmuch better experience with them, I thought I would put my opinion in. First off the interest on a loan is high, but its also high at Nationwide and everywhere else even if you have a great credit score. With just about any business you contact, if you allready have an attitude because the rates are high or the process is seen as an ordeal, the chance you get an attitude back is great ifr you bring one of your own first. My experience has been fine and my loan has been over a 3 year period so I have been dealing with different customer service people in this time. I entered my agreement knowing full well the rates would be high and there are rules to follow. With this correct attitude, I have always recieved good attitudes and service from them. Some times what you give is what you get and I am very happy with them. Even though I came there for nothing a few times, once when there was a storm and they wimped out and went home early, once when they left 15 to 20 minutes before they were supposed to and clearly lied about it and this last time today when they no longer accepted cash. I accept the probability they notified everyone the best they could the payment options had changed, I accept the probability the went home early when the storm meant those that traveled far to work were concerned with safety and I accept the other day they went home early probably cause they had enough people coming at them all day every with bad attitudes from not liking high rated or not wanting the process it takes for doing business. How many take the time to thank someone for doing well verses the times we more easily complain. I am very pleased with their service and would gladly give them my business again. My van was $5000 and after all payments will total over $8000 and thats just the price of doing business with a company willing to take the risk of not getting paid- That risk costs alot if you dont have the money up front which many of us dont.. I spoke with Yesmin from Turner Acceptance Corp regarding my application for an auto loan. I spoke with Yesmin on 8/24/16 regarding my application for a 2006 Infiniti M35 that was for sale at KNB Motors in Villa Park for $3,999.99. Yesmin stated that I would need a cosigner although my credit history has no late payments or collections with a credit score of 667. I agreed to get a co signer who also has a good credit history with auto loan of on time payments for 2 years. I was then told by Yesmin that the co signer would not work because he has a auto loan. I was a bit confused because more than likely someone with a good credit history would have an auto loan on their credit. The original agreement was to put $500 down due to loan being less than $5,000.00. I figured that Turner Acceptance were just being greedy and wanted a higher down payment. Yesmin requested that I put $1000.00 down for the car. I was at work at the time and informed Yesmin that I will contact her after 5:00pm to inform her of whether I still wanted to go through with the loan. Yesmin called me back 10 minutes later and proceeded to be very rude during the conversation. She accused me and my co signer of not have drivers licenses although we both have auto loans on our credit. She lied and stated that she verified the information with Secretary of State in IL which is a complete lie because if she really verified the information she would've known that we both have valid drivers licenses. Yesmin continued to go on and on about how I'm not the one who pays the car note for the auto loan that I have already. I asked Yesmin who she figured that when the auto loan is paid on time each month. She stated that I told her that I did not. I told Yesmin that my grandmother drives the car that I have already due to her not having a thin file and no income so she was not able to get a car of her own. I never told Yesmin that I did not pay the car note. That was strike 2 during the hostile conversation which was becoming more and more evident that it was some sort of discrimination. I proceeded to inform Yesmin I am beginning to think this is a case of discrimination. She told me that I was making things up instead of ensuring me that it was not. I ran down the details of the conversation to Yesmin along with all of the lies she had placed on me. I informed her that all of my calls are recorded and that I have proof of everything she had lied about as well as the way she was speaking to me. Yesmin then hung up the phone in my face. Turner Acceptance has the worst customer service EVER! I would never in my life would with this company. read more
