The purpose of the 1/star is to be able to post the review. No stars given. Barns Auto Group is Rip - Off Central! Be careful to review your paper work thoroughly before you sign and again after you sign. I had 2 cars from Barns, one car I brought them back while under the return policy the offer when you find things wrong after driving off the lot. The car I purchased the sunroof leaked when it rained and the heat did not work. We bought the car when it was hot outside. The AC worked so we assumed the heat did also. Wrong! The heater coil was totally gone and since Pontiac had gone out of business the part wasnt easy to find. They told us they were looking for the part for months while we were stuck with the car with no heat. They refused to give us different car for this one. We eventually just returned the car which they yild us they junked but we saw someone else buying the car one day we were their. We purchased a new second car and learned that they had applied our payments from the new car to the old car we had returned that they never repaired. When I went to pick up the title they say we still owe for the new car that we paid off. read more

The truck i got is magnificent. Purchased through barnes and, also i was assisted by them when i ran into a situation but i missed two payments no blame to barnes im a business man i understand but i was penalized by their repo guy and charged an additional$400 bucks i didnt have when the repo guy totally took advantage of me and my situation i explained i was moving but had my late payment and he stuck it to me anyways with no regards to my life situation but i accept it but i will make all payments and take my next purchase elsewhere the guy human empathy skills are beneath me and my hard earned dollars therefore if you wanna be prejudged shopping here is perfect but if you need human compassion with understanding in case of situation occurence then shop elswhere the end result with barnes is the dollar is king not human situations. read more

I must say, I have NEVER experienced such poor Customer Service in my entire Consumer life. The woman and I use woman loosely, is EXTREMELY rude and disrespectful. I was calling in my payment and the card on file was no longer valid. I attempted to give her the number of my card I used last month, she SCREAMED at me and told me I could not use it. I was attempting to ask a question, she told me "Well if you let me talk ........" how rude is that. I asked to speak to a manager she told me she was the the supervisor! I then emailed the address provided on the site, to lodge my complaint. Everyone I spoke to basically covered for her. I am APPALLED! I called again today using the information provided by a different gentleman, she again answered. I then told her how rude she is, after hearing her sigh loudly through the phone, she SCREAMED at me "I READ YOUR EMAIL!" I do NOT recommend this place. I should NEVER feel uncomfortable PAYING a bill! She has gotten away with this for far too many years, otherwise this behavior would not be exhibited. read more

I brought my current car from here and so far it has been a very Good car. I made sure I had them fix everything that I found wrong within those first thirty days of warranty! After that I was on my own and so far the only thing I needed was a oxygen sensor and basic maintenance. It's hard calling in once your car is in there Shop and they take days to fix it but as long as they covered it I was OK with that! read more

i bought a car from here because i am a single parent and i desperately needed a vehicle to get me and my children a car, i went into the dealership with $400 down i left with a car that had a bad transmission, i brought it back the next day they gave me a car with a broke trunk but i eventually kept it and got the trunk fixed but i needed a car.My point is this is not an A+ car lot so you definitely need to take someone that knows about cars and then you can decide what type of loss you are willing to take, because you certainly will take one but you will leave with a car, good or bad credit. read more
