The soprano Sara Heaton and the choruses were wonderful. Made you realize why this is such a classic piece of music that resonates with audiences around the world. On the other hand, the cello solo was poor. At one point either the violin or the viola were scratching out a Suzuki solo - a la from the 3rd grade. Bass and percussion were well represented. As I said, this BSO is a hidden gem in Fairfield, but you are not going to have the pleas for money (put forth in rather awkward, poor taste) fulfilled if the subsequent performance falls flat. You only have my heartfelt wishes for success. Tighten it up. Please.

RCA has a nice theater, great seating and stage…read more I do not know much about it's program, but after seeing the cast perform 'Hairspray' I can tell that the teaching staff is doing a pretty good job, teaching their students about acting, dancing, performing and all the other stuff to put up a great show!
