This is a beautiful clean venue in Bridgeport. Although I've lived in town for almost two decades I only been here a couple of times, because I haven't had many opportunities. Either they don't hold enough events of my interest or they don't get promoted as they should. Came here with my sister for a themed drink event called Shipwreck Saloon. We had a good time.

Bridgeport has been trying to change downtown around for the better. It was my 1st time @ the Bijou theater. It had comfortable seats & bigger than most theaters. I came for the Shipwreck Saloon Experience. It was ok. You get 4 cocktails & actors tell pirate stories. The bathrooms were really clean in this theater. I would def come back if there's another event I would attend. I didn't get any food so I really don't know how the theaters service is. Maybe next time.

This place was a pleasant surprise. Very nice setup, good sight lines and awesome acoustics. The owner- Gary - was great to deal with, reasonable ticket prices and they do not gouge you on fees The place is immaculate, restroom was spotless. Saw Acoustic Alchemy- great show ... I'll be back

This Place is pretty cool to go too. The only other place we go to have a great time in Bridgeport is Autobahn Billiards Lounge!

At one time, the theater would show movies that had already been released for some time, and it was staffed by volunteers. Most notably, concession prices were cheap: $1 popcorn, $2 sodas, etc. From 2010 to about 2019 the theatre was shuttered. Thanks in part to benefactors and other community sponsors, the Theatre has been beautifully redone & hosts about 50 different types of performances per year, ranging from comedy, tribute shows, along with occasional classic movies from generations ago. They do have a small concession stand, and (at least the night I attended) alcoholic drinks were available for purchase. Went to see the Irish Tenors perform and no seat was a bad seat. They even did a meet and greet afterwards. Be sure to check out the Theatre as they do partner with local businesses on providing discounts to ticket holders. For example, showing your ticket to Luna Azzura restaurant will get you a free glass of wine for up to three days after (the) show.

From the moment we (my bf & me)walked in, it felt like stepping into Willy Wonka's world. We received a box full of numbered treats to taste along while watching the movie. There were chocolate samples, even ones wrapped in a little golden ticket, gummis, jawbreakers, etc. that made snacking during the movie so much more magical. Watching the movie while tasting all these themed goodies made it feel like I was part of the story. Every chocolate river, Everlasting Gobstopper, & fizzy lifting drink scene had me reaching for my own treats at just the right moment(the screen prompted which number to eat). It was interactive in the sweetest way possible (literally)! The theater itself was cozy, spacious, and welcoming, & the staff went all out to make it feel whimsical.I loved how they made a classic movie feel fresh & playful again. This isn't just going to the movies it's stepping into a candy-colored dreamland for a few hours!

It was founded by husband and wife restaurateurs Rick and Michele Torres. The location on Fairfield Avenue in Bridgeport began life as the Acoustic Cafe in 1999. It was a popular spot for the local Bridgeport music scene for over 20 years. It closed down in May 2020 due to the pandemic. The Torres family (who also own Harborview Market) then decided to purchase it and reopened it as Park City Music Hall following a 9-month renovation. The venue features a performance stage, a full bar and a kitchen. The menu features burgers, sandwiches, salads, bowls, tacos, various bar bites, craft beer (on draught and in cans), and craft cocktails. In May 2023, the venue unveiled their backstage annex: a 2500-sq-ft space directly behind the stage that is intended for VIP, GA+, private events and rentals. Since opening, Park City Music Hall has hosted countless nationally touring bands, Grammy winners, living legends, and electrifying up-and-comers. I recently visited Park City Music Hall for the first time. I had a ticket to see the Connecticut debut performance by New Jersey-based Rush tribute band "A Farewell To Kings" (AF2K). I'm a HUGE Rush fan, so I was really excited to see AF2K perform. Park City is primarily a standing room venue, but there is a limited amount of seating which is first come, first served. I arrived a half hour before doors opened, I was the first one in at opening time and I was able to snag the closest table to the stage. From the kitchen, I enjoyed some "Philly Eggrolls" (shaved steak, peppers & onions, mozzarella) along with a "Smash Burger" (cheddar jack, caramelized onion, pickles, shredded lettuce, special sauce) and "Sweet Potato Fries". I washed everything down with a draught pour of New England Brewing's "Fuzzy Baby Ducks" IPA. That meal really hit the spot! By the time the band hit the stage, a good sized crowd had accumulated. The band was terrific!! They played so many classic Rush songs and pulled them off well. As a drummer myself, I really liked the drum kit which was reminiscent of Neil Peart's kit circa 1983. Overall, I had an excellent experience at Park City Music Hall! I would love to visit the venue again, and I would really like to see AF2K perform again!
