Our tour guide, Phillip, explained a lot of details in the architectural and artistic choices from the abstracted instrument carpet pattern to the large Fountain of Youth staircase painting. When we circled downstairs - the bathrooms are incredible, go chill in them a second. We went to sit in the chairs and learn about the stage. Then we went upstairs so we got a nice view of the lobby, then a short video and got to meet one of the Radio City Rockettes in person. It is a lot of stairs so be prepared for that, but it was very thorough tour. Great tour. When I was there, I saw a sign for a concert of Les Miserables, so I just had to come see a show. Even though tickets are also really expensive, it was an amazing performance. The acoustics and the singer's talents were unparalleled. Programs were available only on request. The small souvenir stands were crowded and hard to get to, and leaving took forever because people clogged up the exits, but the show was perfection. I am glad I got to see a show here. I hope to come back for the Rockettes Christmas show at some point. If you can see something here, you definitely should come!

I have back issues and usually old opera houses/theatre chairs are not my friend. I sat there for just over two hours and was fine, big relief for me. Plenty of leg room. Appreciate there was a restroom on our level. Each person working that I passed by had a smile to pass along and gave directions well when needed. A great experience. So neat to finally see inside. Now to just get myself to see a Rockettes show. My Gran used to travel every year to "take in a show". She would gush about it when we would see her next. I'd like to do that with my granddaughter some day :) Thank you to Radio City & to all who made Morbid Live possible. I enjoyed listening to Ash & Alaina. You gals Rock!

Of course the show featured the unimaginably talented Rockettes, whose performances are both an art and a science. But it also had ensemble performers, drones, lights projected on every inch of the ceiling and walls, and more. Easily one of the most well produced shows I've ever seen. If you're in town over the holiday season, I cannot recommend this enough.

What better way to start the holiday season off...with the Radio City Rockettes! I've seen the show several times over the years.. run time is 90 minutes and a great show for families and friends. Prices go up over the years but one can look for discounts. Cheaper during the non-peak times/days so check the calendar as well. Not a bad seat in the house. Easy to get to via train... if you prefer to drive, there is parking in the area. Street parking is hard to find but there are parking lots. Restrooms are located in the lower level and lines move fairly quickly. Concession stands are on the main level and the lower level as well as merchandise. Plenty of restaurants to eat in the area before and after the show depending on where to watch... and depending on the time of your visit, you can see the holiday tree at Rockefeller Center. Enjoy!

The bartenders and servers were attentive and friendly while making great suggestions. We got the nachos with pulled pork (they had run out of brisket **sad face**) and the portion was MASSIVE. The picture I included was after 4 adults already ate some of it. The only downfall is when the band started playing, it was WAY. TOO. LOUD. You literally had to shout to the person next to you, even though we were a good distance away. It might help if they put the band in the far end next time and not in the main corner. Other than that, good service, good food, good drink, good times! P

What a fantastic place!…read more Right on the water in Coastal Connecticut just east of New Haven, with ample outdoor seating, Stony Creek Brewery is an ideal summer-time destination for excellent craft beer and a solid/creative menu of pub fare. We were here for an event: The start and finish of Bikes & Beers 2024 (Brandford, CT). Bikes & Beers tours the country year-round, offering cycling events that revolve around--you guessed it--breweries. Over the last few years, we've enjoyed weekends away across New England when they come to our corner of the country. Their events are very well organized and fun, with a portion of the proceeds going to local charities. Plus, there's beer! After our 30-mile ride in and around Branford, we joined the other riders for the after-ride event at the brewery for food and fun. That's the formula for all Bikes & Beers events. Back to Stony Creek Brewery. As I said, the setting is idyllic for a warm, sunny summer day. However, you'd find limited indoor dining/drinking space on a rainy day. I enjoyed their seasonal IPA (the only beer I drink) and found it exceptional. My better half had the grilled chicken sandwich to satisfy her hunger while she ordered a chili dog for me. IT WAS HUGE (and delicious). We didn't get to try the other interesting items on their menu, but our fellow riders said good things about theirs. Plus, a permanent guest food truck serves wood-fired pizzas that look and smell fantastic. My mouth is watering as I write this. I'm not sure when we'll be back, but we bookmarked this location so we can have a similar bikes & beers experience on our own someday. We liked it that much!

We reserved for a quick bite at Redeye Grill before catching Dog Day Afternoon on Broadway, but as soon as we walked up, some bouncer told us they were closed for a private wedding reception. We were dazed and confused because how was I able to reserve online? But the real plot twist was that it ended up being the best thing that happened. We actually stumbled into Tanner Smith's thinking it'd be the typical, boring bar-food spot. Nope. They first sat us at a hi-top by the door, but that wasn't our vibe, so we grabbed seats at the bar instead. Best decision. Our bartender, Josiah, was absolutely killing it. My cocktail had passion fruit, so of course I asked my usual question: "But is it real passion fruit?" He just nodded in agreement and that told me everything I needed to know. That drink was legit and had nice strength. The food was great too. My fish tacos were packed with fresh fish, the guacamole and salsa were chunky and full of flavor and hubs enjoyed his pastrami sandwich. I have no clue when we'll be back in Midtown, but one thing's for sure- we're sitting with Josiah again.

Both dishes were great and filling. The cauliflower had a lot of bold flavors! The onion ring on top of the Mac and cheese was a nice touch. I couldn't really taste the truffle but I would still order the dish again.
