Great lunch spot! We were easily seated for our large party of 7 right at opening, but then it filled up quick. I had the Yellow Coconut curry and it was amazing! No one in our group complained about the food or the service. I would totally go here again for the food. read more

I stopped in to Turtle Jack's with my cousins after a round of golf. It was a bit late for lunch but way too early for dinner so it wasn't busy at all. We chose to sit inside since it was a very hot day, with very little breeze. The dining room was empty. Air conditioning! Ahhh... Similar to other restaurants I've been to recently, their menu is available online by scanning a QR code at the table and reading it on your phone. I wasn't very hungry so I ordered a Soup and Salad combo, with a French Onion Soup and Caesar Salad. My cousins had Fish & Chips, Blackened Chicken Wrap, and a Bacon and Cheddar Burger. It took a little while for the food to arrive but it looked good, especially the burger. It was piled high and looked yummy! The chicken wrap looked good and so did the fish and chips. My dish was a bit of a mixed bag. The salad was good, as expected. The soup, however, tasted a bit artificial. Was it made from soup mix? Hmmm, not sure. It was also served with toast, a bit odd, especially since there were croutons in the salad and bread in the soup. There were a couple of other minor miscues. Our Coke was really diluted, suggesting their mix had run out. Although you could tell just by looking at it, it was still served. Our meals were served without cutlery so we had to wait a few minutes. While the overall visit wasn't terrible, it could/should have been better. read more

This is a very nice place with a great view of the water. Service was friendly and professional. The food was good with no complaints.Unfortunately you definitely pay for the location. The entrees are $6-10 over any other Turtle Jack's before the additional 30%+for tax and tip. As good as it was we paid $81 for two dinner bowls and two diet cokes before tip. So enjoy but expect to pay for it. read more

Went here for the first time. Service was pretty slow at the bar. For $17 you get only 2 fish tacos and a small salad. Portion size was pretty small. It says in the menu that you can add on seafood chowder for $4 but they charged me $9. Not the best experience. read more

It is a blue jays night when my friend and I went to try this new open restaurant in milton. The waiting time was way too long. It took us more than 10 mins to order drink. The manager came over, and offer us free drink. My friend got ribs while I ordered shrimp and scallop pasta. The pasta was delicious, while ribs is over cooked. It is too dry. The surprise is the dessert. It is really good. It is a good dish for sharing. The server is friendly, and she always try to make sure we are okay. I am not sure if it is because she knows the wait is too long. I give this visit a 3/5 as the waiting time is unacceptable. Came here on a Saturday night before the movies and it was busy. My wife and I were told to seat ourselves in the bar area. Service was quick but brief. I ordered the big wing dinner with 2 sauces, which was good. My wife ordered the fajitas which we found was rather bland. We had to add a ton of salt and pepper to it just to try and enjoy it. All in all, service was ok, food was alright, but nothing impressed me enough for a 4th star. Might try it again another day. read more

Hostesses and servers have always been attentive to our needs without being overbearing. The food is always delicious and the drinks are always done right. Visited twice before forming an opinion. The 2nd time they were out of children's menus but printed off paper copies to not disappoint. I used to love going to Turtle Jack's in Burlington and Mississauga, so I was pretty happy there was one coming to Milton. When the restaurant opened, it turned out that the Milton location was selected as one of the "test" locations for a new menu, meaning they had eliminated some of our favourite items (including their grilled cheese). My SO and I found other things we enjoyed on the menu, so that was fine, but we noticed that every time we went to TJ's, the bill came to over $60. We had only ordered sandwiches and a spinach dip appetizer, with sodas on the side. Most burgers/sandwiches tip towards $20 with tax. At the end of the day, dropping that much coin on mediocre food just isn't worth it. The service is decent, but unless you're going with some coupons or a gift card, there are better options for basic chain restaurant fare. read more

I've been to Turtle Jack's in Milton a few times, and found the food to be good but unfortunately, the service to be occasionally lacking. Everyone is friendly, but it seems to take a while to get wait staff attention and service. But, I've given this rating 4 stars because of my most recent experience here. Allison is one of the newer wait staff there, and is excellent. She's attentive, prompt, efficient, and friendly. She has an ability to be quick and efficient in a busy environment while not seeming rushed and still making connections with customers. If you have a chance to sit in Allison's section - you should take it. read more

We went today for dinner and have been before. This time was terrible. We got there for 6pm got seated waited for 15 mins no one came to the table to say hello I got up and went to the front to ask where our server was. The girls was like ohhh no one has come by yet. Well you invited this "review" and it will be an honest review. I took 13 family members there for Sunday night supper. We Waited a while to have one staff person drop by; she was temporary as we later received another somewhat attentive staff person. At times, I wanted to leave my seat to find her...oh well, may be she needed a smoke break! Little ones fed quite fast (greatly appreciated) and the rest got fed within the hour. Ran out of baked potatoes to go with 4 sirloins @ $95.96 worth, but offered other potatoes (no additional charge); but while new potatoes found.....every other meal went onto hold. Kids had to go home to bed as everything was taking SO long. Wait staff tried, but for some reason (size of group) could have ordered in quicker. I have been to another Turtle Jacks also with good food, but I am suggesting Milton send staff there for training. May be a l-o-n-g time before I would take family back; maybe a limited few or drop in to see another Turtle location. I think the salt shaker lid came off in the kitchen....or a way of offering drink specials! Sorry to be so negative, but you did invite this review and I promised to be honest!
