Very long post!! Tuscany Falls Banquet Hall is where I was going to celebrate me turning 50 this year in July. I booked my 50th Birthday making Payments starting in November 2025., and within in the agreement between the Venue and payments are due ever two months until final head count and final payment was due which would have been in June 2026. I also understood in the contract if I could not hold up my end of the bargain that money would be lost. But was also told unless it was something big and out of control, that they would consider giving something back. This was the initial conversation. Since then I have paid 3k towards the party, had my Dj in place, head count was in order and, and even decide and reach out the Lady to bling out my 50th converse Birthday shoe. Until of course the unexpected happened. A pipe burst in my bathroom in the basement. Although this happened in February, I still made my 3rd Thousand dollar payment to the Banquet Hall. At the time I made the 3rd payment . Bad luck strikes me again. The plumber guy I originally hired to re do the pipes in my bathroom and upgrade my bathroom. Was doing a poor job, and of course Needless to say what I spent on him was a waste of money as well. So now I Had to find my Original contractor that I used many of times in my home.. to come and give me a new estimate(this is the guy I should have waited on) but i will say I was moving to fast on this decision. Needless to say I now have to get a new estimate and now this contractor has to tear down and redo the work the other contractor did. And of course this process will now double the cost of the first guy.. I said all this to say as I reached out to the Venue just last week ,explained to Maria from Tuscany falls asking what Happens to my funds if the Hall gets booked for the same time if I cancel would they be willing to give me something back. She claim she needed to speak to every one .. Staff (Maria,Jennifer, Ryan and Johnathan) they would reach out to me with a answer .. But what I got was very disappointing As they thought the phone was hung up, I overheard them discussing how there was never a plan to contact me back and how I was a lier about my construction problems all of which was recorded. Well, i wanted to be nice and email them a few things that went wrong... but in turn Bart the manager continued to indirectly call me a liar on what i wrote. Ill try to make this short. TF staff told us before out reception that we needed to switch our first dance and cake cutting to first do cake cut, so staff can get table and cake removed from floor before our first dance... no problem right. After we cut the cake, my wife and i standed waiting for staff to move the cake and table. My DJ gave 3 announcements to get it removed and didnt. Minutes went by and my photographer and videographer said well move it our selves. - i told Bart this and he repeatedly told me this didnt happen and his staff told him differently. Well Bart, i have it on video. Next issue - our bar was closed during dinner with all the communication to the wedding party would be able to order drinks during dinner. - the disconnect. I emailed to Bart it took 20 minutes for the wedding party to even get a server to bring us drinks and then the server said sorry the bar was closed... then Maria a coordinator came by to check on us and i stated a server said we couldnt get drinks and were the wedding party and you specifically stated it would be open for us. She obliged and got my wife and i a drink as well as some others in the wedding party. - Bart claims Maria in our initial conversation said the bar for wedding party was NOT unlimited drinks, but however a Round or 2.... Which i mind you.. never was stated period. If that was the case i would have paid to have it open Bart. Anyways, we got drinks served only have about 30 minutes of not getting them. Tuscany falls definitely made out on that end of the deal money wise. Needless to say. Bart and Tuscany Falls never once admitted wrong in anyway. Bart actually feld he delivered a top notch evening to us, even after my complaints in an email. It wasnt until my Wife got on the phone to explain to Bart that what i was sharing was indeed true. And he wasnt about to call her a liar, were you Bart? Didnt think so. Overall, book somewhere else. Tuscany Falls chose to try and save money and lie to us, not allowing us to have drinks for 30 minutes until we complained. Telling me his staff did move our table and im the liar because his staff told him different. Well Bart, they have everything to lose and We dont. The chicken we had was hit and miss. Mixed reviews. Skin like rubber, some chicken burnt, some was good. The best was Bart reading from a script telling me how the chicken was prepared and cooked so he can deflect the issue. Hilarious. Bart is a big time deflector. Never took accountability until my Wife called him out 35 min later in the conversation. His attitude and lack of customer service is horrible. And so very unprofessional. They own DiNolfos in Homer too - just stay away. Spend the extra few thousand if ya can somewhere else. Trust me, i wish i would have. read more

I went there tonight for a fashion show and fundraiser for scholarships. The place was well appointed, the staff were friendly, courteous and professional. What I was not expecting, the food was really really good. Probably the best I've ever had in a venue such as this. The salad was chilled, crispy and fresh. I attended a wedding here over the summer and thought it was a very nice venue. The food was pretty good and the bartender was quick. The whole look of the reception was really beautiful and classy. The only thing I wasn't really crazy about was how close the other receptions were. Music from the other banquet room was too loud and we could hear thumping thru the walls while the ceremony was taking place. I was VERY offended by this!! My son and his bride have loud thumping music in their wedding video while the pastor was trying to conduct the service. VERY RUDE!! Tuscany Falls needs to fix this! Once the ceremony was over it took way too long to remove the chairs and replace them with tables. OVER AN HOUR! There were not that many chairs to remove to begin with. All the guests and the wedding party moved outside of the banquet room to wait for the staff to set up for the reception. OVER AN HOUR WAIT! After finally being seated it took ANOTHER 45 min to serve the food. Tuscany Falls started with a meat, veggie, and cheese table and there wasn't enough for all the guests! This banquet hall was given a final count of guests and they KNEW ahead of time how people they were going to feeding. There was no excuse for not having enough food. The salad and main course took another 30 min to serve. The food was welled cooked and there was enough for everyone to have a second plate. There are NO security cams and anyone can walk into the designated rooms for the bridal party. Bridesmaids had items stolen! We also had a problem with guests from the other banquet rooms wondering into our banquet room. The bathrooms were clean but all the soap was gone by 8pm! When you are running a facility that large with that many guests it's important to have enough staff and to have staff that can keep up with that many guests! For the price this place charges they need to make some serious changes. I would NOT recommend this venue to anyone. Very disappointed! read more

My sister had a wedding in the beginning of Covid and this place refunded her absolutely nothing they were out thousands and thousands of dollars with no remorse from this place . Given the financial situation you would think this facility would care . They offered them to change their date but had to use their "voucher" before 2021!!!!! A very nice place. The wedding and reception was in The same room. The wedding was over at 5:45, And the reception started promptly at 6. Those guys moved fast. The dinner was either filet mignon or salmon. I tasted both, and each was good, lacking done seasoning, but I understand why. The veggies were a bit undercooked, and I like mine crunchy. We couldn't have the dinner we paid for our wedding ! We planned on family style dinner the day before the wedding we were told no we couldn't do that! And that we couldn't serve what we paid for and ended up with some cold what I guess was baked chicken! My dinner was removed from the table remind you I'm the bride I only got up to use the restroom! When ask why they took my food they said they couldn't leave it out like that! I didn't even touch it! All I can say it was the worst experience ever for my wedding! When we arrived it was if the heat was in! We had to ask 4 times to turn the AC on! We had our wedding there on 8-30-20 and it was beautiful! The staff was amazing and did everything to make everyone feel safe with the state of things right now. The food was AMAZING and they made sure we had everything we wanted. I would highly recommend this venue! The price was right but they have the indoor and outdoor space we were looking for. Today my family held my moms celebration of life. She passed away in December 21st. Bart was amazing since the day I walked in the door seeking info on the place. Everyone was so friendly from the beginning. Very informative and explained everything. We needed a podium and extension cords they had everything my family needed. The room setup the food was so delicious. Mike our bartender was so friendly and great behind the bar. Chris came in during lunch and went to every table and checked on every one to make sure we had everything we needed. The head food server I'm sorry forgot her name she was so friendly and always asked us before they did anything. The ladies in the office were great as well and so friendly on the phone when I had questions. They not only knew us by name, but they made us sure we got exactly what we wanted. They worked with us on every aspect of our wedding, and we are extremely thankful for that. I'm putting five stars only because I can't put more. My wife and I had our wedding reception at Tuscany Falls nearly a month ago, and we could not have had a better experience. When we were shopping around for venues, we went in without an appointment and Chris sat with us for over an hour going over everything we needed to know- from minimum number of people to different chair covers. They set up a very easy-to-follow payment plan and took care of EVERYTHING. During their recent construction, they maintained total transparency, encouraging us to stop by any time to see how it was coming along. The night of the reception, everything was in place well before we got there, and one of the servers came up to my wife and me and told us that if we needed anything, to let her know. She was our liaison to Chris, the DJ, the videographer, the photographer, or anyone else. They really made everything as easy as possible. My husband and I had our wedding reception here on September 9th,2016 and it was incredible. My centerpieces were a little bit of work to set up, including adding water, lighting candles, turning on fake candles; and they did it all perfectly. We had the prime rib and stuffed chicken for our dinner choices, my husband and I both ordered the prime rib, and it was to die for. So delicious, and we heard no complaints about the chicken either. Attended a wedding. The food was OUTSTANDING. The servers were less than friendly. They were instructed to clear the tables as soon as they could after the dinner. They took people's half glasses of wine when their backs were turned. They didn't even leave water carafes on the tables. They were snitty when cleaning up the tables of the glasses and plastic cups from the bar and even tipped one enough to spill on the table and me as they took them away, without a word of acknowledgment as to what she had done. Luckily, it was just water based on the smell. The biggest complaint I heard about the evening was the alcohol or, rather, lack thereof. Anyone who was drinking was complaining that the liquor was watered down. By the end of the night, the majority of the guests were ordering doubles just so they could taste the liquor and even then couldn't taste it. 11:00p, the lights came on and everyone was told to leave. No ifs, ands, or buts. Just get out. Such a beautiful venue with great food but disappointing when it came to courteousness and alcohol. read more

Our guests enjoyed the cash bar in the lobby before our room was available. We had the East room which was beautiful and our guests enjoyed the patio. We picked the package with appetizers, sweet table and late night pizza. We had the Tuscany Chicken for the main course. Everything was delicious! We received so many compliments about the food and service. The bartenders and wait staff went out of their way to make our guests comfortable. I cannot tell you how patient, available, understanding, and generous Chris, Bart, and the Tuscany Falls team were. My son and his fiance planned to have their wedding at Tuscany Falls, Mokena, Illinois in November, 2017. When their plans were cancelled in January, 2017 (ten months prior to the wedding date), my husband and I had already put down $2500 in October, 2016 as well as $2000 in December, 2016 toward the venue. After the cancellation, we discovered that the required down payment was actually $1000, not $2500! When I contacted Mr Chris DiNolfo (owner) in an effort to obtain reimbursement for the overpaid amount, he was extremely rude, insinuated that I was "crazy", and repeatedly hung up on me. When he discovered that my name was not on the contract, he said that he could not speak with me because I wasn't his "client". (Although he had no problem cashing my checks!) After he threatened to contact the local police to report harrassment, I called the Mokena Police Department and spoke with a very understanding police department representative. He informed me that I had done nothing wrong, and was well within my rights to contact Mr. DiNolfo. After informing Tuscany Falls of my conversation with the Mokena Police Department, the $1500 was reimbursed. I have since contacted several comparable venues in the Mokena, Illinois area to inquire about their cancellation policies. I have discovered that the other venues don't require as large a deposit, and scheduled payments on the venues are not due until closer to the actual wedding date. At several other venues, we would not have even made a second payment eleven months prior to the wedding (as we had with Tuscany Falls). I was also told that, if the other venues were able to rent out the room for the same date, then all of the payments made thus far would be reimbursed. This is a very reasonable policy. However, this is not how Tuscany Falls treats their clients! Even if Tuscany Falls is able to rent out the room, they have refused to reimburse the remaining $3000. I find this practice extremely GREEDY on Mr. DiNolfo's part! I would not recommend Tuscany Falls to anyone! There are other comparable venues in the area with caring, honest owners and employees! read more

I wish we could put more stars then 5! We looked long and hard before we decided on Tuscany Falls! I am super glad we did! We walked in without an appointment and they had no problem sitting down with us and going over everything. The updates they made to the hall are beautiful, they now have floor to ceiling windows and private courtyards. They walked us through how our reception would go step by step and patiently answered any questions we had. I at first had reservations about not being able to test the food or the cake before the reception. But I shouldn't have worried, the food was outstanding! The staff were very accommodating, I had quite a few guests with food allergies (milk, soy, gluten and mushrooms) and even though we picked family style, our food allergy guests received plated allergy-free meals! Everyone loved the meals and no one had any reactions! The cake was amazing! And Beautiful! Everything was in place when we arrived and even ran through a checklist with my Maid of Honor at the end of the night so we could be assured we left with everything we came with. The owner, Chris, came around multiple times during the night to ask us how things were going and if he could do anything to make our night better. We were blown away by the attentiveness from him and the rest of the staff at Tuscany Falls! The other concern I had about booking is there usually are at least 3 weddings there the same night. I was worried that you would hear music from the other rooms. But NOPE! It honestly felt like we were the only people in the entire place! They helped make our wedding a huge success! My husband and I renewed our vows and chose Tuscany Falls as our venue. We knew of them because of our bakery and having worked with them in the past. I cannot express how delighted i am to give them this review because they are deserving of it and more!! The entire night i wanted to make sure that my guests knew just how magnificent everyone was. From the owner Chris, who was amazing, to the coordinators and serving staff, everyone was so helpful. The venue is absolutely beautiful and they really do work hard to make sure your event goes perfectly. All of the updates are beautiful and the private courtyards are that finishing touch that really sets them a part from everyone else. Chris walked around to each table to make sure everyone was enjoying the night and even shared a laugh or two with them. My guests were simply smitten with him and the rest of the staff.
