Take out for Mothers Day! She got the Chicken Parmigiana. I ordered the Pasta Trio. She got a giant helping of chicken and Angel Hair Pasta. I got "The Shaft" Cannelloni, Lasagne,Manicotti was a child-sized serving? Sauce was a bit salty. Happily, she shared her chicken and pasta. The pasta did not taste homemade. The order was ready to go on time. Ambiance was Ok, although no music, and lighting was brighter than I'd expected for an Italian joint.

My left over $13.99 Chicken Parmesan over Spaghetti lunch special! This is a full sized box! Delicious!

First time guest. I dropped in for Friday lunch. Service was great Briana was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Wine list did not have Lambrusco, so I ordered Banfi Chianti great pairing with the $13.99 Lunch special I ordered! Chicken Parmesan included a tasty Caesar Salad. The portions were generous, I took half of the entree home. The Chicken Parmesan was moist, the cheese thick and melted in my mouth. I'll definitely make the drive from Huntsville. As a bonus there's live music on Thursday from 6-9pm!

    Fettuccine

First stop here. Nice decor on Saturday and Thursday there's live tunes. Wife had Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp and my pick was the Pasta Trio. Both come with a side salad which was out quick and fresh. The main courses followed and were very good. We shared a glass of Sangria as the musician was belting out some Frank Sinatra. Total price with tip was 73.00.

Both dishes were excellent! And they had free bread! Service was great, the waiter was very attentive

Dinner here was interesting and odd and, in the end, confusing. First, the service is excellent - prompt, knowledgeable, friendly. The food is of mixed quality: the seafood appetizer had a nice vinaigrette and the seafood was delicious but it was served on a bed of actual mirapoix, the basis for much of French cooking that's just carrots, onions, and celery. An odd choice, and not really bad, but just not great. The meatballs were a disappointment - decent red sauce but the meat was dry and tasteless once you got past the sauce. More successful were the entrees, my spaghetti carbonara and her manicotti. Both were quite good and worth coming back for. And we probably would, except the dining room is completely lacking in ambiance or charm. First, it's too big by half, almost like a ballroom, and with minimal decor except an odd guitar/clock on one wall. Then the lights are too bright by, again, half - more like a barbecue joint, or a cafeteria. And we might have let all that slide, except for the music and sound system. Perhaps the worst of both that I've ever heard in a restaurant, the selections seemed to be focused on Italian pre-match chants, or maybe what union organizers would play before a speech....it's hard to describe. And then the sound system - small cheap speakers only along the bar, blasting there but sounding like the construction crew next door was playing a crappy boom box too loud. Yes I'm spending a lot of time writing about this but I've just never heard anything like it, certainly not in a restaurant service traditional Italian fare. So, great service, uneven dishes, but terrible sound. I'd love to come back for that carbonara, but...

My first time at the Tuscany Italian Grill in Conroe, Texas shall not be my last.

Casual atmosphere dining experience with above average food & service = my favorite kind of fine dining atm. Non-pretentious, professional servers and fresh food set this one apart from other local Italian spots. I look forward to returning to the Tuscany Italian Grill in Conroe, Texas and trying the greater part of their menu. I personally enjoyed everything I ordered, but would only re-order the tiramisu out of everything I tried today. The Seafood Salad was wholesome and the Fettuccini Alfredo on the Combination Dish was excellent. I do favor the Lasagna at Nona's Italian Grill in The Woodlands over the version served at Tuscany's Italian Grill in Conroe, but it wasn't bad. Nothing was bad. Everything was very good.

My hun and I came here a few nights ago to have dinner for the first time here. The bread they serve first is soft, light, and goes excellent with the oil dipping they serve with it. Arta was our waitress and was very kind and personable. We really enjoyed her company. As for my dinner, I ordered the minestrone soup and the salmon piccata. Both were amazing! The soup tasted like mom's good cooking when you are under weather and the salmon piccata tasted like you were at a 5 star restaurant. We decided to stay for one more drink and moved to the bar. That's where we met Zina. She was also very personable, which is what we look for in a restaurant. They are all from Albania, which was super cool listening to some of their stories (not to mention their accents are gorgeous). Overall, great place to have lunch and dinner. Let's get this place well known in the Conroe area!

    Spaghetti and meat sauce

Tried this place tonight for the first time. I wasn't impressed at all. The fried calamari was good. The food itself left a lot to be desired. The spaghetti and meat sauce had no taste to it. The three-meat combo plate was not good either. The water noticed that I had not touched my food. We did not ask for a refund even though he asked the manager if he could discount. She said no. We left $50 dollars worth of food on the table. She did not even come and ask us why we didn't like it. We won't go back. If I could rate it a 0 I would but I gave it a 1 for the calamari.

Come to find out Marsala's also has a location in Huffman, but they are not related to my other fav spot. Inside, the restaurant is actually small, I was expecting it to be much larger. They do bring you their garlic knots right at the beginning of the meal, but they did not look or taste much like my other fav Italian place in NE Houston. The bread at Marsala's was dry and crusty (the other place has soft and pillowy bread) and there was no drippings or garlic butter resting at the bottom of the bowl, so I just ate a little of the interior of the knot itself. I ended up choosing a lighter dish, shrimp scampi, since I was still full from lunch and my dining companion chose the chicken penne. I'm not sure whether the chef was out sick or what happened exactly, but both dishes came out from the kitchen really bland. There was no salt or seasoning to the food. The pasta also didn't seem like the water was salted during cooking. We mentioned this issue to our server, who then told the manager. They were really apologetic and even comped our entrees even though that wasn't our original intention. I just wanted to know what happened and why there was no seasoning at all in the food. We left and of course didn't bother to order dessert. In summary, the service was really good, I will give them that much, but the food was barely edible. I'm just not sure I would even come back to try other dishes since these two we ordered just could have been so much better.

Walk up counter service with a menu split neatly into cold cut and oven baked sandwiches. Going with the Devito, my mind was thoroughly blown by how flavorful the red sauce and meats were all together, it had a combination of textures from the crusty bread cured cuts that made it fun to chew through every bite. My Stallone was also just such a pleasant mix of flavor with the pesto playing a bigger role on the cold cut options. This is one of the places where I feel like you can spin the wheel and get a winner with whatever fate decides. Things seem pretty easy and affordable here. The girl at the counter recommended getting the hot peppers so I got some on the side, and she was absolutely right--I'll definitely be adding those to future sandwiches. My husband ordered the Danza but accidentally received the Dinero. He still enjoyed it and gave it a solid 7/10. We also tried the Chicken Parmesan.
