Happy Hour wine portion size was great.
    Ana M.

In general, I think this was a solid dinner place option. Food- I ordered the caprese pasta and a happy hour appetizer and a happy hour wine. Everyone else ordered everything from steak to pastas. Generally all happy and no complaints. Service- I didn't catch his name though. The server we had was very quick. He was happy to answer any questions. We did need to ask for the specials but and he didn't keep us in the loop about our orders but he seemed kind and available when needed. I would say he struggled a little bit with addressing the table as the other side of the table didn't hear the specials and also, he didn't ask the table about desserts. Parking- this is a shared parking lot with a variety of businesses.Generally it's tighter parking. Atmosphere- this placeMore feels homey and doesn't have any errors of being pretentious. I didn't use the bathrooms, but it overall seems clean. Value- i thought the price was fair for the meal and you could tell. This is a very popular place because for a wednesday night, it was completely packed. My meal drink and app was 28.

    Garlic knot.

What a wonderful little place I stumbled upon. I was in town for a night and there was nothing near my hotel but an IHOP or Denny's, I don't remember which one. So I pulled out Yelp and looked around to see what was in my area. I saw this place and thought I'd give it a try. I'm glad I did! The place is in a very small strip center. The place is small and cozy. After being seated I was served by a very nice young woman with a pleasant smile. She explained the specials to me and I was immediately interested in the redfish special with shrimp and mushrooms in a white sauce. I ordered that and while I waited I was presented with the largest garlic knot I've ever seen! My dish arrived piping hot and was very good. If you are a veggie lover, the mushrooms and green onions were very fresh. I usually prefer them sauteed more, but these would satisfy a mushroom lover! They appeared to have been folded into the sauce right before plating. I looked over the dessert menu after devouring my fish, when my server mentioned they could do a half portion of dessert! I don't think I've ever come across this before so naturally I had to partake even though I was full. I got the tiramisu which was a perfect end to the meal. This place seems like a neighborhood place as most of the patrons seemed to know the staff. It's near a neighborhood so I imagine many people walk here for dinner. I really wish this place was near my neighborhood. Very charming with good food. I will go again if I'm ever nearby.

Salmón Tuscany topped with shrimp and capers and tomatoes in a lemon dill sauce on a bed of sautéed spinach! Excellent

Stopped by here during a weekend trip to Conroe from Austin. Everything, service, ambiance, and especially food. Were excellent!! Started with stuffed mushrooms app which came with a cream sauce! The salmon Tuscany on a bed of spinach, and the grilled chicken penne caprese were both excellent!! Our server Israel, provided excellent service from the time we sat down until our departure! Definitely worth stopping in if you are in the area. Reservations are accepted as well which might be a good idea depending on time of day. AND! Don't pass on the dessert! We can suggest the carrot cake as our new fave!!!

    Veal Marsala?

Out in Conroe, looking for a quick dinner and ran across Marsala's. The parking lot was full and there were people waiting for tables which we took for a good sign. The interior of the restaurant is dated, dusty grape foliage and disproportionate faux brick work so it was like teleporting back in time. The menu looked good though the addition of chopped tomato to piccata sauce was telling. That and being told by a regular that the lasagna was similar to Olive Garden. Not what I would liken to authentic but there are those that are fans. The meal started well with light and tasty garlic knots. We settled on the lasagna and the veal Marsala as our entrees. The lasagna was a dryer version of the dish covered with a heaping pile of meat sauce that did much to offset the dryness. The veal Marsala was featured a white sauce (??!) with a few mushrooms that tasted like pancake batter with a touch of Marsala wine mixed. I've never seen the sauce in anything less than brown and wondered if they just were making a new batch and didn't want me to wait for it to cook down. Disappointing.

So glad they are selling GF Pizza and it was great! I got the supreme and it was thin and crisp with lots of goodies.

The shrimp scampi, chicken Marsala and the blacked tilapia was excellent. The strawberry salad was just ok. Super nice people as well.

Walk up counter service with a menu split neatly into cold cut and oven baked sandwiches. Going with the Devito, my mind was thoroughly blown by how flavorful the red sauce and meats were all together, it had a combination of textures from the crusty bread cured cuts that made it fun to chew through every bite. My Stallone was also just such a pleasant mix of flavor with the pesto playing a bigger role on the cold cut options. This is one of the places where I feel like you can spin the wheel and get a winner with whatever fate decides. Things seem pretty easy and affordable here. Portions were pretty big here and around $12-$15 a sandwich, more than enough for a single person with some for a midnight snack later. There's a good bit of seating inside with some red gingham table clothes to eat over. It's worth the visit if your in Montgomery or after a day on the Lake!

I'd have to say, the sandwich was pretty life changing and it's something I want to try to replicate, but likely can't 100%. Although they have many sandwiches to choose from, the Stallone was the one recommended to me. The bread is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and has a concoction of pesto, cheese, tomato and garlic? Inside it's LOADED with capicola, ham, salami, soppresata, and provolone. The sandwich was definitely a flavor bomb and I still think about it til this day. I would love to go back and try some other sandwiches of theirs too!

We started our meal off with some fabulous cocktails but the waitress who said she was in training brought our drinks without using a tray and her fingers were all over my martini glass and my husband's drink near the rim where we were gonna drink out of! She was trying very hard to keep her hand steady and I thought for sure it might spill it. I wiped the glass off but still...Gross! That's what the stem is for! Straw please! Why was she not being monitored if she was still in training or at least properly trained? Do I fully blame her...no. Then she picked up our leftovers to box up and she piled up the dishes on the plate of food we were to take home! I almost lost it! Does she lack some common sense? Yes! Who piles dishes on top of my food when I'm supposed to eat it later? WTF? I was afraid to eat my leftovers after this debacle. Where did she get her food card? Having worked in hospitality for many years I gotta say train your wait staff properly and keep a shadow with them until they're fully trained to serve and then guess what? Some people are just not cut for white table cloth service. After spending over $150 here I was very disappointed. I hope they fix this mess. Our visit was unacceptable.
