This was largely my fault for not using red shampoo like should've. Because of this I searched for a new salon to call home. Salon Bombshell popped up on my yelp search. I looked through their photos and website. I liked what I saw. What I liked even more was that they had the option to book online. I hate making phone calls so this was magnificent. I booked a consultation with Anna and excitingly waited for the day. I came prepared with my inspiration photo. Initially I wanted to color correct my red but decided I just wanted to play off of it more. After looking at my hair and the photo, Anna told me it was definitely achievable. The only color she couldn't promise was the yellow. I was good with that as long as the result was as close as it could be. We agreed on an appointment and I eagerly counted down the days. The day of Anna was running a bit behind but it wasn't an issue. I would wait all day if I had to. That's how excited I was. We were only delayed for a bit and then it was my turn. We first attempted to bleach my tips in hopes of lightening the faded red I had. Well, Pravana apparently bonds very well. The bleach barely had any effect. Well, plan b. She would add the colors as planned and we'd just skip the yellow. I was 100% ok with that since, you know, I knew the yellow wouldn't happen and my photo was really just an inspiration. Anna came up with a brilliant idea, though. She would dye a few tape in extensions yellow and add them in at a later date. Excellent! I booked another appointment to get that done. While waiting I messaged her asking if we could also do orange since that was part of the color palette I was looking to achieve. She agreed to it and I was thrilled. The day had arrived and I could barely contain my excitement. When the time came to take a look I was stunned. It. Was. Beautiful. My entire goal for my hair was to make it look like fire. She definitely hit the mark on that. The added extensions really worked well. I was so excited to show it off. Anna really worked some magic. If you're looking for a great stylist, I highly recommend Anna. She knows her stuff and was a pleasure to work with.

Went in at opening time and had no wait! I had Janet and she was super nice and humble. Wanted to donate my hair to Locks of Love and she helped braid and cut it to the length I wanted. Had a pleasant conversation with her. Washed and blow dried my hair. Never pushed me to get additional services. I would come back again for my next cut!

My son gave them a picture of what he wanted. They cut it and then told him they couldn't style his hair because they can't dip their hands in the gel / glaze right now as it's not sanitary. Really? Since when is it not sanitary to use a pump bottle, a small spatula, or simply wash your dang hands and dip them one time only? Must be nice to charge full price and only do half the job. My stylist always talks things over with me, listens to my worries, since I have thin hair and works to make sure the cut I get is exactly what I want. The folks at the front desk are so lovely and helpful. They definitely contribute to the overall harmony of the environment. The whole salon is very nicely decorated. There are several fountains in the facility. Their sounds help soothe the tired and stressed. The furnishings are lovely and comfy as well. The Salon is pretty simply, but elegant. The washing area is quiet and has muted lighting, a nice touch. The spa area where people wait for mani/pedi and massage are very tranquil and comfy. I enjoyed the mani I got there. Service is the name of the game here, I must say. I especially like that I get reminder emails and/or text messages. I am kind of horrible about remembering my appointments, so this is exactly what I need. If you want pampering, friendly and helpful people and talented staff, this is the salon for you to go to. The girls were so nice and told me not to worry about coming close to closing. I had called to triple check it was okay me coming so close to closing time. I had a great experience and my Haircut is exactly what I wanted and needed. My hair stylist Kp (hopefully I remembered her name) was quick and knowledgeable and gave me so many tips with my hair and truly went the extra mile even with the time crunch we were in.
