We arrived at the exact SAME time as the tow truck like literally behind the truck , just BEFORE they pulled the car into the gate, but they refused to let us retrieve it. Even though we arrived before 5:00 p.m, they still charged us an after-hours fee. We ended up paying over $540--almost $600 to get our car back, even though it had been there for less than an hour. The charges felt completely unreasonable. To make things even worse, the employee who processed our payment , said this to my friends while she's pulling out her car , "she's not too smart huh " as if he was calling her stupid. That was extremely disrespectful and completely unprofessional. My friend was visibly upset and crying, and instead of showing any compassion, the employee told her that there was "no need to be angry." They showed absolutely no empathy or understanding for the situation. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. People don't know what someone else is going through or what their financial situation is. They don't know if those $600 were money you desperately needed for something else or if losing that amount completely throws off your monthly budget.
