A couple of high school students had their vehicles illegally towed from Farmer's Market in HB. The tow was not compliant with CA vehicle code 22658 in which the owner of the Farmer's market did not meet 2 of the 4 signage requirements. Code 22658 Section (e) (1) (2) states the person causing the removal of a vehicle parked on that property is liable for double the storage or towing charges whenever there has been a failure to comply with proper signage and is subject to a fine of $1,000. If your vehicle was illegally towed this weekend from Farmer's Market in HB, please contact me to join the lawsuit. Absolutely terrible experience. The customer service was awful, and the staff was incredibly rude and unprofessional. We arrived at the exact SAME time as the tow truck like literally behind the truck , just BEFORE they pulled the car into the gate, but they refused to let us retrieve it. Even though we arrived before 5:00 p.m, they still charged us an after-hours fee. We ended up paying over $540--almost $600 to get our car back, even though it had been there for less than an hour. The charges felt completely unreasonable. To make things even worse, the employee who processed our payment , said this to my friends while she's pulling out her car , "she's not too smart huh " as if he was calling her stupid. That was extremely disrespectful and completely unprofessional. Hello all, it's very unfortunate that I have to come on here to express my dissatisfaction with this towing company. As I was picking up my car I realized my car had severe damages from the towing services. I contacted management to file a claim because my car has severe damages on the front bumper which is detached now, the bottomed plastic covering is hanging and scraping on the street as I drive. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Management informed me they were going to contact me the day I filed my claim because they had to speak to the driver to confirm he did the damages. I was beneficiary of the property. The police said it was not a city tow and was a private matter. The tow yard finally told me that the call came from a lady claiming to be on the condo assoc. Board and said the car had been abandoned for months which was I lie I had parked the same day she called. The condo assoc.was changed to a different association right after this the new association who knew this person said they don't have a tow company that works Stanton park. I live in Carriage Mobile Estates, and in 2019, we were told as residents that we could call in to have cars towed when they were parked illegally in the red zone. I have attempted on multiple times to contact this company in regards to cars that are illegally parked, however they seem to change the rules without informing any of the residence and now only the manager, Vickie can call. This is a little inconvenient as she's only in the office part time, and is always gone by 5 o'clock, and she's never here on the weekends. She doesn't even live nearby. This is the worst interaction I have ever had with any type of business BY FAR. My car was towed from my apartment complex that I have lived at for almost 7 years now. We have a 2 bedroom therefor we are allotted 2 parking spots and 2 parking permits, an open parking spot and a carport spot which we park both of our cars interchangeably depending on who gets home first. We have never had an issue with this and have never been towed for the last 7 years up until last week when DTS towed my car from my complex that I pay a lot of money to live at. My other car was in my carport and the car that was towed was in an open spot, not taking up any additional spots. Literally no reason to tow other than being money hungry thieves. I am checking to see if my complex authorized this tow because it has never been an issue since I've lived there. I realized my car was gone around 6:45 in the morning so I called and they said there is an after hours fee to get my car back before 8 am, which is absolutely ridiculous. I had to be late to work to avoid paying an even more outrageous fee. So I get to their lot knowing there's nothing I can do but pay the fee and get my car back. One of their many ex-con's took me back to get my car where it was parked on wood blocks. I was confused and asked him if I can drive my car off of them because it was elevated and looked like it would be an issue removing my car. He said yes and asked me to roll my window down so he can assist me. He motioned at me to move forward, as I was moving forward he said wait now reverse, so I did. Then he motioned for me to stop and told me that one of the wood blocks had been lodged in my wheel well. Exactly why I asked him if it was safe to drive on the wood blocks in the first place. He then tells me he needs to get the forklift to remove my vehicle. So I step out of my car while he pulls it forward. As he was removing the forklift from my vehicle, parts of my bumper flew off so I pulled out my phone and started recording. He then steps in front of my camera and is telling me I am not allowed to record the damage they just did to my vehicle. The employees started collecting the broken pieces, I would assume to dispose of them since they are evidence of them damaging my vehicle. I retrieved them and told them I'm taking them with me. Their employees are then telling me I need to get in my car and leave or they are going to call the police. I welcomed the threat as I needed to make a report with PD anyways. They then threatened to get in my car and drive it off their lot if I didn't. So I waited for the cops to get there and when they did I gave them my story and the officer said "ya sounds about right, we get calls to this place all the time because they're shady". After reading through your reviews, it is beyond evident that you guys have ZERO integrity and a horrible business ethic and should be looked into by the Better Business Bureau.
