The owner, Divya, hosted a special Mother's Day party that really made the day feel extra memorable. We took some fun photos, the adults got to relax and mingle, and the kids had an absolute blast playing math-themed games that were both fun and educational. What really stood out to me was how inspired I felt after hearing Divya's own math journey -- her passion for math and education really shines through in everything she does. It made me reflect on how important math is in my own child's education -- not just as an academic subject, but as a tool for building confidence, problem-solving skills, and long-term success. After Mathnasium, we went to a jump park and got ice cream -- and yet, when I asked the kids what their favorite part of the day was, they both said Mathnasium! That's pretty incredible. The activities were clearly designed with kids in mind -- fun, engaging, and full of positive reinforcement. The center itself is clean, bright, and welcoming, and the instructors made me feel completely at ease. We signed up for the coming semester for the mad science and art class through our homeschool charter VIE. She loved the teachers and the kids. The children got to explore robotics in the science class and she really loved the playground. Art class was not as highly mentioned as science and the playground, but its hard to compete with robotics. The academy staff were kind enough to allow her to sit in on very sort notice and even offered to waive registration fee for a honest review. We had 6 years experience with another elementary school and just didn't have that satisfied feeling. Not the case with Creekside Oaks Elementary School aka COES. 1st grade with Mrs. Herrera was great. She really seems to care about the students. My son was very happy going to school everyday. 2nd grade with Mrs. McCracken has been incident free and she even takes the time to address each of my sometimes (admittedly) asinine questions and concerns with a sincerity that can not be faked.
