So excited to have found this little gem! My 19month old daughter is extremely busy and this place entertained her so well! Can't wait to add this to our regular routine. Highly recommend!

All so unique but all look great. This was such a fun girls night with plenty of giggles!

The art box is an amazing children's studio, but they double as an awesome adult paint night studio as well. We had so much fun! We are so proud of our paintings after Kati led us through and helped each of us create a unique but beautiful painting! One of my favorite girls nights yet, and I plan for it to be a regular occurrence as well

Rushed to drive 30 min after school to get my girls here for this class for this place to be closed. Good job art box, way to advertise a waste of time. Trying. To find a good place for my girls to take art lessons and it certainly won't be this place

We love the art box. Kati and Megan are always there to help the kids get what they need or clean up any messes. Tons for the kids to do, paint, glitter, play dough, shaving cream wall, boxes to stack and more. A fun place to bring the kids.

I really enjoy taking my little ones here. I have a two year old and a 4 year old, we try and go in Tuesdays since the prices are reduced. I really like the fact that I only pay for the kids and adults are free with a paying child. I live in Natomas and would take my kids weekly if it were only closer!

The views are of the park, adjacent street, back of the zoo fencing, & a parking lot. You can enjoy areas of nature in the park. The ride is smooth & uneventful. You don't pass by anything specific to a train experience or go under or through anything. There is a loose, thin cloth that covers the wooden seat. Although there's signage that the conductor can assist with boarding if needed, I imagine accessibility issues for some. To get into the seats in the section we found available required having to climb over the edge into the car, which had no door. I'm petite & it wasn't the easiest with my legs. However, in other posted photos, it seems a few seats in the front of the train have cutouts to walk into to make boarding easier. It's a cute experience for little ones to enjoy.

My son had a blast waving at everyone as we passed by, and honestly, I had just as much fun watching him light up with excitement. The staff was friendly and made sure everything ran smoothly. It is clear they care about making it a great experience for families. The whole thing felt well organized, and we did not have to wait long to board. If you have young kids and are looking for something fun to do in Folsom, this is a solid choice. Simple, affordable, and a guaranteed way to make some great memories. We will definitely be back.

Signage gives information & facts about the animals, stories of how they came to the Sanctuary, & their names. A small gift shop is onsite with a variety of items. Instead of just a jungle gym and ball pit, they actually have little themed areas like mini kitchens and small workshop setups, which makes it so much more engaging. There's also this fun little roller coaster-style toy my baby absolutely loved. It really helped her practice motor skills and stay active in a more intentional way instead of just running around. The staff were super nice and everything was really clean. They even had high chairs available, and they were already spotless and ready to use, which made things so much easier as a parent. Overall, it felt safe, clean, and actually designed with younger toddlers in mind. Definitely one of the better play spaces we've been to and we'll for sure be coming back.

At no point did the front desk staff tell me that the playhouse would be closing at 5:30 PM. If I had known we would only have about 45 minutes to play, I would have come another day. Shortly after we arrived, one of the parents from a birthday party asked for my children's names and kindly invited us to help ourselves to some pizza. Since no one mentioned that the playhouse was about to close, I had no reason to think our visit would be cut so short. Then, at 5:29 PM, the front desk employee suddenly told us they were closing and that we had to leave. When I asked why no one had informed me before I paid full price, I was simply told that the hours were listed on the website. I found this place through Google, not your website. Customers should be informed about an upcoming closing before they pay full admission. Charging full price without mentioning that the business is closing in less than an hour is unfair and very disappointing. I hope management will improve communication with customers and consider offering a partial refund or a complimentary return visit in situations like this. My children were very excited to visit the playhouse and were very upset and disappointed when we were asked to leave shortly after arriving.

They were welcoming, patient, knowledgeable, and made every student feel included. Our students had an incredible opportunity to learn about ranch and farm life, tractors, horses, foals, farm animals, hay, and the daily responsibilities of caring for a ranch. The hands-on experiences were the highlight of the day. Students were able to groom horses, interact with animals, ask questions, and gain a real appreciation for agriculture and animal care. Terry and his team kept the students engaged from beginning to end. What made this experience even more special was Terry Howard's generosity. Shadow Glen donated approximately three hours of their time at no charge to educate three classes of Center Joint Unified School District students. That level of community support is truly appreciated. Our students are still talking about the trip, and the adults had just as much fun as the kids. It was an outstanding experience from start to finish.

This place really is surprisingly effective at building kids' confidence and physical endurance…read more It's intense exercise but the kids LOVE it and are obviously having a blast. Of every class or sport my kid has ever done, this has been his absolute favorite (It's been one of my favorite activities he's done, as well!). The coaches are super positive and keep it high energy. It's only 45 minute classes (I wish they were an hour) but they don't waste any of the time. Even during their water breaks they have an activity or video on the screen that teaches confidence building skills. The coaches are very friendly and encouraging to parents , as well. My only complaint is that there often isn't enough instruction on proper form. Kids are frequently using bad form. There are only 2 instructors for the class so they can't help every kid for every activity, but there needs to be more live assistance on proper form. (I will say that I provided this feedback via a survey and the following week the coaches made a noticeable effort to help my kid with form, so they are very receptive to feedback, which is very rare these days). Every single coach there acts like they love their job. I'd think they'd have to have a passion for working with kids in order to do this job, but nonetheless, I love their business model attitude. (I was actually very hesitant to sign up as I had seen them at various festivals, and it seemed like a money grab. But after attending a single trial class, my kid was hooked, and it was evident that their entire business model revolves around building confidence in kids). I can't recommend them enough!
