My daughter and son both joined the Tutoring Club in 2023 and have been attending ever since. Before finding them, I struggled to get the right support for my daughter--most tutoring centers were either too expensive or not open to working with kids on the spectrum. Tutoring Club, however, was very inclusive and accommodating from the start. I have the highest regard for Anil and his son, who run this center. They are soft-spoken, humble, polite, and--most importantly--very understanding and flexible. Before joining, both of my kids had difficulties with comprehension and writing. While it took some time, the dedicated tutors at Tutoring Club made a real difference. Their efforts helped strengthen my kids' reading and writing skills, which clearly showed in their most recent CAASPP scores. I credit the Tutoring Club for this progress. I have a freshman and a sophomore and have been taking them for about 3 years now, not because I force them to but because they ask for it. My daughter has been going to the tutoring club all through her junior and senior year and I must say she has improved her math skills quite dramatically. Our daughters have been going to Tutoring Club for over a year now for reading/comprehension and writing. The center owner Anil is very caring and responsive. There was a time when we had concerns about the girls' school cirruculum and he would spend time help us analyze the situation so we could make the right decision. When they needed help on a particular subject, he was able to add on a few sessions without any long term commitment. They are also flexible with the schedule as well. We tried to stay with our schedueld hour slot but if we did occaisonally cancel or change, they were very accommodating and did not penalize us. Tutors overall are well qualified and we do not see a high turnover at the Tutoring Center. This is important for us because we believe kids can thrive better with the same tutors who know how their learning styles are. My son was taking a 4 week online calculus 2 class this past summer and was in desperate need of a tutor even after the first class! I called the Tutoring Club and spoke with Anil (The Director/owner) who matched my son with his tutor Matt. My son said that Matt was incredibly helpful and was able to explain the complex material in a way he was able to understand. In the end my son was able to get an A in the class! What a wonderful experience it has been working with Anil and his staff members. They have worked with my daughter the last 2 years helping her with both Geometry and Alegbra 2. Not only did they accomodate our schedule but also did a great job in tutoring my daughter. They also encouraged her and built her confidence level to a point that she did extremely well in her finals. I have had her work with other tutors in the past and have never seen such results, most tutors have mentioned to me that she just didnt have Math Skills. When we moved to San Ramon, I checked out places for tutoring to help my eldest daughter with Algebra 2 during her first year in high school. The moment I talked to Mr. Rai about my concern, I knew I found the right place. He is intelligent, always accommodating and offers flexible hours, too. I am very happy how my daughter was able to hone her algebra skills, became confident solving algebraic problems and finished Algebra 2 with a final grade of A. My daughter was having a difficult time with her math in school. So we decided that she needed a tutor. We brought her to tutor club they assessed her and set up a plan to help improve her math skills as well as her reading skills. With the time that she spent with all the different tutors it helped her catch up to the grade level she needed to be yet. I enrolled my daughter in Tutoring club, San Ramon for reading, writing, and grammar. She loves the classes and says the classes are helping her in her school. She was a little behind her class level in some areas but in less than six months she has advanced to the next grade level. It has also helped her to remain focussed for 2 hours in the class there which is something I cannot personally get her to do at home with me. She loves the environment. Recently we saw one of my daughters' previous tutors at Stoneridge Mall. They were so excited to see her which prompted me to write this review. My older dghtr was attending a private school and was academically challenged so we visited the Tutoring Club on a friend's recommendation. It took a good 4 to 5 months before we saw real improvement. Then she started excelling and got really focused. We then enrolled our younger dghtr who was already strong academically. I can't even say enough good things about Anil Rai, the director at the Tutoring Club in San Ramon! I called over a dozen places looking for a proctor for BYU online courses my daughter is taking. Not only is Anil the BEST price out there, he is SUPER ACCOMODATING in getting us in right away whenever it's time for an exam. He seriously goes above and beyond in prompt communication and accommodating our schedule and specific needs. Plus, he is now qualified to proctor for "University Level Courses" (not just high school level courses), which is super hard to find in this area. AND... he is qualified to do online tests vs. just paper tests which can take up to a couple of weeks to be mailed to them.
