Totally avoid this place. Not worth it. Within 2 years, 5 directors changed(Pam, Tansel, Spenser, Tim and now Marc). Pam sold us 300 hours and within a few week, disappeared as she got promoted; no parent was notified. Spencer the 3rd director we dealt with even sold us 100hours just the week before he quit and didn't have the courtesy to let us know he is leaving. Though you have scheduled sessions in advance, C2 has canceled on us couple hours and even minutes before the session. However, if you have a valid reason to cancel, if you are short of even one hour, you will end up losing the amount because you did not let them know over 24 hours in advance. Now we have paid them handsomely, and they will not even return one phone call to the dozens of phone calls we have made to the center. Utterly shameless to offer your services at such a high cost to the customer and not even have the decency to return one phone call. When my daughter first started at C2, I was a bit hesitant because of the cost. But after seeing how much she has learned and benefitted from being tutored there, we are so glad we signed her up. From day one, she really liked and appreciated the help she was getting. She said all the tutors were kind, patient and clear in their instructions. She has learned so much, improving in her writing and math skills. Her SAT scores improved dramatically (approx. 400 points), getting scores that make her more qualified for the UC system and other schools that were not within her reach before C2. The best part of it for me is seeing how ready she is to go to college now. Both my husband and I feel like any gaps in her education from going to large public schools has been filled by the help she has gotten at C2. I highly recommend C2 to other parents. C2 is setting wrong example in education business - shameful; no ethics. It's a money making machine & has left immoral impression on my child. We paid for 300hr of classes and have 122.5 hours left and were told that contract has lapsed and balance has been forfeited. While signing contract we were assured of credit. Don't waste your money on this crap. I spent $15k only to realize 3 years down the road that it was one of the worst mistakes of my life. The West Coast regional director or whatever she is will sweet talk you and promise you the world and then disappear. Things that we were promised: - I will personally keep an eye on your child's grades. From now on, he is our responsibility. - Personalized attention and great teachers. - Test prep before every exam - List goes on. After being poorer by $15k, they don't have enough slots for your child. My son is trying to book a tutor. He is busy until 1:30 with his summer school, yet they say that the only slot they have available is at 1:30 and are not willing to budge or try to accomodate him. Booking sessions is a nightmare. This is something they will NEVER tell you when you are giving them your hard earned money. And remember you HAVE to pay all the money UPFRONT. The "education coordinators" are extremely rude. When I went to make the payment the first time, they literally were looking at each other and rolling their eyes. I just wish I had taken my money and walked away at that time. My son did not benefit 1% and I haven't got $1 worth of my money back. You all are better off going to much accredited institutions like CollegeAdvisor/CollegeVine etc. read more

I used C2 Education Dublin for college admissions counseling and essay revision. The help I recieved played a key role in my admissions to Purdue EA Computer Science. However, I wish the place was more professional and organized. The front desk lady was often confused and there was a mess of binders everywhere. Sometimes, my binder would not be in the stack. Also, some of the tutors seemed to be clueless about programs that C2 offer. But aside from these minor setbacks, I recommend C2 Dublin to anyone looking to go ahead in their studies or get into a good university. read more

C2 Dublin (specifically) is a very good place to truly understand any subject. The teachers specialize in actually helping you understand the material, and the center is very comfortable because the teachers are also very friendly. C2 Education is the absolute worst tutoring center you could possibly go to. I bought a package of hundreds of hours at C2, only to find that it wasn't helpful even in the slightest. For one, the atmosphere of C2 is completely awful. There are no separate rooms; the spaces are only divided by walls, so you can hear all 6 classes going on at the same time, aka all18 students and 6 teachers. It doesn't allow for proper concentration during the tutoring sessions. The center is also extremely disorganized, and most of the teachers and even directors, are only temporary. Over the course of 2 years, the director changed about 3 times. As a result, I couldn't receive the proper consultations that I was looking for because I had to reintroduce myself to the new directors so often. Another issue that I faced as a student was that the teachers changed too often for me. Right when I started to like a teacher or go in-depth with one, the teacher would quit, and I would randomly be assigned to another. The flow of my tutoring sessions was often disrupted in this way, restricting me from accessing a deeper level of education. Lastly, and probably the thing that I disliked the most about the center, was that the classes were a 3-1, student to teacher ratio. Some teachers can manage these classes well, but more often than not, I found that they couldn't. On average, I would waste about 15-20 minutes of class, waiting for the teacher to answer my question or even get the class started. I strongly recommend that you keep my personal C2 experience in mind before you decide to enroll there. On an extra side note, I found that the C2 SAT resources weren't helpful at all. The C2 SAT books were too easy on the English and too hard on the math, and the practice tests are often those that don't accurately reflect the actual SAT. With C2 resources, I scored in the 1400s, but after using Khan Academy (which I strongly recommend) and Collegeboard resources, I scored 1530. I just wanted to share that C2 may not be the best resource to achieving high scores and grades. There are much more affordable and better options available, do your research beforehand! read more

Before I came to C2 Educational Center in Dublin, I had tried multiple other tutoring centers to no help. At other places, I felt as if I was put in a monotonous routine of answering endless amounts of questions and being given a score. That all changed when I came to C2. The teachers there actually care about your success and go out of there way to meet with you on your own time to make sure you understand each question. I'm very impressed by the services at C2 Dublin. The office staff are super friendly and helpful. There is always someone picking up the phone when you call. They are professional and courteous and always follow up as promised. Mia, the center director is very knowledgeable and approachable. My son finds the tutors highly qualified and very good at what they do! We transferred from another C2 center to Dublin and are very happy that we did. Nothing is permanent here - tutors keep changing on average every month, directors change often, so there is really no one to take responsibility. Their 'new SAT' program was totally a disaster and the results board reflects that. They just push you take more and more classes - student may earn good scores on C2 tests, but they no way reflect real world school/SAT/AP tests. read more
