Hired them at great expense compared to other services, because of the ratings. Which I honestly now think they made themselves. Hired them to take care of some things on my grandmothers property. I was away for part of the day, when I came back. Walked in, and smelled something awful. Went upstairs to find one of the workers rifling through my grandmothers drawers in her bedroom. Her jewelry box was open and we still can't find her dead husbands wedding band. He was smoking something. could see the lighter and smoke, but he put it away fast. I know what weed smells like. This was not weed. I don't know if it was meth or what it was, but it was a terrible smell. Chemically. He seemed really nervous and squirrelly when he put it away. My grandmother had left her doors unlocked in case any of them needed some water, or to use the bathroom after she got out of the shower. She thought she was safe. Then, a bit later, she told me, that she saw him going to the bathroom in her flowers next to the house. We found a pile of crp, for lack of a better word. We went to tell one of the workers about these things, but they said that that guy was the foreman. Steven. They marred one of the older trees on the property, hacking it to pieces. Even though we told them not to touch that one, and clearly marked the ones we wanted worked on. The tree now looks butchered. Will look that way until my grandmother dies. She has to put up with that from now on. We would sue them but I live out of state and she can't handle the emotional stress of it. She honestly had a mini stroke since then. She has been so stressed out by all of this. This is a fly by night company. Don't trust them. If they have an owner they need to drug test all of those employees and remind them that peoples homes are off limits. Don't even trust these people to use your bathroom. Some medications seem to be missing. read more

We had just gotten an addition put onto our house. A larger master bedroom. But we were told that the tree growing next to the home was going to be a possible problem in the next couple of years. So we decided to have it trimmed back. it wasn't even hanging over the room. But somehow they managed to drop a large limb right onto the roof. puncturing it. They assured us the insurance would cover it. But when we contacted them after not hearing anything about it, it seemed like they never made the call, or filed a claim. weeks went by. kept talking to someone who had been running the crew, some skinny dude, when but they kept dodging us. always claiming he had some emergency and hanging up. Finally we got him to admit he never filed a claim. Thought we should file with our insurance company. He didn't want to get into trouble with his boss, we don't even know if he has a boss, and he didn't want their companies insurance costs to go up. So now we are stuck in limbo. We had already moved our bed and all of our bedroom stuff into that room, and made the old bedroom into a home office for our business. The rain has begun rotting through the hole and damaging more things in that room. The electricity shorted out and almost caused a fire before we found out how bad it had gotten. We are starting to get black mold now which is causing us health issues. And because of this, we are now sleeping on the couch, because our daughter is staying with us between college, in the spare in the guest bedroom. The company has since stopped taking our calls, and never returned them. At this point we just wish that we had a way to go back in time and never hire them in the first place. On top of all of this, once they were hired they were pretty rude once on our property. It turned out that the construction worker who suggested them, knows them. "" In every way! These guys were God sent when my parents well over 100 year old Tulip Tree (maybe 200 yrs old, who really knows) split in two and half fell last Sunday. That Tulip tree held many memories for our family, we've lived there since the early 70's. It's definitely heartbreaking to see it gone! But we definitely couldn't have had a better tree service company come and cleaned up the mess! They did wonderful working with my parents, cleaned up at end of every day they were there. Plus very efficient on getting us taken care of so quickly! I definitely would recommend Tuttle Tree Service for any trimming, cutting down, grinding the stump and cleaning up with GREAT SERVICE!!
